The Book in the Electronic Age

Diploma thesis The Book in the Electronic Age deals with print and electronic book. Theory of convergence has been described at the first theoretical part. According to historical evidence, convergence supposed, media be not ejected each other, but their content has just to be changed. Another mentioned theory is remediation. It consists in way which new medium releases. New medium determines itself by borrowing characters of old medium and this content is being transform in terms what the new one needs. The chapter pointing on a strong tradition and an influence of book is concerned in letter print like power instrument. The next part describes print and electronic environment and also includes their differences not only from the perspective of user. History and princip of hypertext is outlined and there has been mentioned hypertext's potential in e-books as well. The newest way of reading electronic books are mentioned there. The theme of failure of e-book is also involved. The question about future of book appears in whole thesis.

Thesis, theme: Assets Author: Jana Beránková English Summary Assets in the insolvency proceedings is the subject of the submitted thesis. Assets is one of the fundamental legal institutions in insolvency proceeding, which forms the basis of the solution of the bankruptcy. Thanks to the precise definition of assets, accurately defined inventory of assets, and its breakdown (in relation to the debtor, creditors, and other persons), there is a fundamental and qualitative change as opposed to the legislation of the law on bankruptcy and settlement. This significant change occurred on the day of January the first 2008, when the Czech law of insolvency entered a new phase. The new insolvency act was passed, and at the same time the law on bankruptcy and settlement was invalidated. The new legislation does not solve bankruptcy only of the bankruptcy and composition, it uses the general concept of defaults that suggests this is a completely different solution concept. The insolvency area is understood much more comprehensively. The bankruptcy act use not the term "bankruptcy", but the assets. It's completely new term and new defininition of contents, not just the change of the name. In the original treatment the term bankruptcy applies onl y to the bankruptcy proceedings. Roman Occupations of Scotland

This work is dealing with individual phases of Roman occupations of Scotland, namely with the Flavian, Antonine and Severan ones. The assessment of these occupations is based on both historical and especially archeological sources and particular attention is paid to those sites, where the presence of Roman occupation forces can be proved in above mentioned periods. The content of the dissertation is put into historical, political and military context of Roman presence on territory of nowadays Scotland. The goal of this study is linking up of already available information and researches into coherent view of patterns of Roman occupation and administration in Flavian, Antonine and Severan periods of government. This thesis is focused on XSL-FO technology and tries to introduce this technology to its users. The content of this thesis is focusing in creation of printed outputs in companies using various formatting equipments. In this thesis, you may find lots of different examples, which clearly demonstrate possibilities of creating printed outputs with assistance of formatting objects. It{\crq}s also focused on difficulties of electronic invoice creation from XML to PDF and compares the quality and its correct appearance of outputs formed by FO processors.

The impact of tourism on protection of nature and environment in the selected region

This dissertation deals with impact of travelling on protection of nature and environment in the region called Žďárské vrchy. It shows the authorities of nature protection in the Czech republic. It contains the description of area itself. This work includes all the sports (cykling, hiking, mountaineering and other winter sports) which are done in this area. These sports can influence environment and this fact is analysed and there is also described the possible way of solution within nature protection of Žďárské vrchy. In this dissertation is described a problem of a sustainable develompment and tourism in this conservation area.

This diploma thesis is worked out on the theme Marketing study of selected tourist destination. As analysed destination, the author chosed the town of Mělník which dispose of high tourism potencial which is not exploited enough. The author has specified the task of this theses as analyse the application of every single used marketing tool of selected destination by offer analysis, demand analysis and analysis of marketing mix. The aim of this theses is to suggest following steps to develop tourism (increase arrivals, repeatability of visits or receipts of tourism) in this destination. The diploma thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter introduce the teoretical specification of the terms as destination, destination management or marketing destination management. Following practical part contains application of information forenamed in the theoretical part to particular marketing activities of this town.

Right for Information in Power of Public Administration Bodies - RESUMÉ There were several reasons for the choice of the topic for my thesis "Right for Information in Power of Public Administration Bodies". The first is growing importance in possibilities to get information about civil service activities and the right of public to deal with it. The second is the way how public authorities deal with this right in their activities. And third is large legal system linked to claim the right for information which has been created because it is certain that the Czech legal system has been developing since the foundation of the Czech Republic as a democratic legal state. The aim of my thesis is to try to create a frame for the right for information managed by authorities of public power and to show some consequences in this area. The first chapter is about theoretically limited principles in civil service which are the base for claim the right for information. To understand clearly what the right for information is, I find it useful to describe international-legal and constitutional-legal aspects because legal form of this issue is based on them. Vývoj e-governmentu v ČR v letech 2000-2006

E-government, neboli elektronizace a informatizace veřejné správy, je současné aktuální téma, které se u nás dostalo do podvědomí na počátku 90. let minulého století, a které dosáhlo výrazných pokroků, především díky rozvoji v oblasti informačních a komunikačních technologií. Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje vývoji e-governmentu od roku 2000 v České Republice, zároveň však bere v ohled i určité aspekty z let minulých. Zabývá se rozvojem elektronické komunikace úřadů veřejné správy směrem k občanům, jakou úlohu hraje v procesu elektronizace stát (resp. vláda), především v oblasti legislativy, vymezuje problémy zavádění služeb e-governmentu, ale také uvádí, na základě získaných poznatků, přínosy pro občany, podnikatelské subjekty i pro orgány veřejné správy. Přínosem práce je ucelené shrnutí poznatků o problematice e-governmentu v ČR v letech 2000-2006. Téma je zpracováno metodou studia odborných pramenů.

Co-ownership of a unit - administration of a building and tract of land

The Diploma thesis focuses on the current legislation of residential co-ownership, especially of administration of a building and tract of land. Its content is divided into two parts. The aim of the first part of the thesis is to present fundamental interpretation of an institute of residential co-ownership which is one of the types of co-ownership with a large number of specifics. The thesis includes also an outline of its historical development, an analysis of conceptual theories of residential co-ownership and explanation of essential terms of the institute. As one of the most important terms is considered the term unit. For correct understanding the thesis explains also other terms which the legislation of the unit expressly operates with. The relevant examples are the terms flat, commercial premises, building and tract of land and share of a building and tract of land. The first part of the thesis serves to obtain fundamental information about an institution of residential co-ownership and its essential elements that will be used during a deeper research in the second part. Czech grammar schools, their students and teachers, 1867-1918

This thesis examines the development, character and routine of an ordinary day of Czech middle schools. The first chapter outlines the changes in middle school education throughout the 'long' 19th Century. The summary of these changes begins at the end of the 18th Century, the time of the educational reforrns introduced by Maria Theresa and Joseph II, and is followed by a brief summary of the changes in the first half of the 19th Century. Detailed research has been done into the history of middle schools, from 1848 (from Bonitz-Exner Outline, a fundamental document which influenced changes in the educational system for many years) until the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The main focus is on the period from 1867; this year was the catalyst for the major development of Czech middle schools. Briefly mentioned are the changes and restrictions caused by the First World War; there is also a section dedicated to middle school education for girls. The second chapter concentrates on specific areas of middle school education, such as: who studied, and on what terrns; programmes of study; the curriculum of individua! subjects.
