Valuation of the construction company

The aim of the diploma thesis is to determine the value of the construction company as at March 1, 2010. The thesis is divided into 2 parts -- theoretical and practical. Theoretical part deals with techniques, methods, and tools of company evaluation. Practical part applies these methods to the company. Basic information about the company is presented in the beginning of the practical part. The following strategic analysis consists of analysis of development of macro-environment and micro-environment, and financial analysis, which evaluates the performance of the company. The financial plan of the company is prepared based on acquired information. Two-phase discounted cash flow method in the version of FCFF was applied for the valuation of the company.

Use of simulation programs for analyzing and improving the operation of the company (real situation)

Aim of this thesis is to analyze the current situation, to identify bottlenecks and to propose improvements to the department of acquisitions in the selected financial company, which is an important part of the Czech market and which desire not to be named. In the first part of my thesis is provided to the reader a theoretical basis necessary to understand the following text. Then I create simulation models for individual teams, which take part in the mentioned department. These models are based only on average and total values. That is why in the next section, there is described the work to bring them closer to reality with shifts of administrators and the variable number of entities, which are processed throughout the day. Based on the analysis of calculated values, I propose two methods of redistribution of actions to reduce the number of employees and to increase their efficiency.

The history of slum care in Susice untill 1938

The study is engaged in history of slum care in Susice from the 14th century untill 1945. The above mentioned study contains a theoretical part, where I focused on social care in Bohemia, then I brought to your attention the history of Susice and at last my work mentions in detail the history of slum care in Bohemia dated from the first written sources untill 1945. I have chronologically described the developement of individual social institutes, foundations and associations, which devoted to the care of poor and sick in Susice.

Folk culture of the North Pilsen: aspects of mutual Czech-German action

This rigorous thesis is focused on the aspects of relationship between Czech and German folk culture in the Northern Pil sen region. In the first part we treat with inhabitation and structurizing of space in general paying special attention to one' s living in cultural landscape. In the second part we follow history of german settlement in Czechia, Moravia and Silesia. We highlight the most important events in this history presenting the milestones to the Czech and German national interaction. Third part deals with history of Northern Pi/sen region and also with history of both Czech and German nation in this geographical region. In the fifth chapter we introduce the brief history of the folk costume, explain what it is and then we pay our attention to the Czech and German folk costume in the Northern Pi/sen region separatelly. Next part describes folk architecture in the landscape close to the towns of Plasy, Kralovice and Manětín respectively. The final chapter of this rigorous thesis is about small village chapels, sacellums, crosses and other diminutive relics of folk architecture in the region.

Evaluation of Personnel Activities in a chosen Company

In my graduation thesis I was interested in personnel activities in company Servant, a. s. This company offers logistic services. First I described this firm, then I analysed each personnel activity and I found some problems and made a suggestions for better situation in firm. During my graduation thesis I gathered information from expert literature, from firm's documents and from information which I extracted from personal interview with firm's employee. I think that this company has some problems in personnel activities but in my opinion it works positively.

Evaluation of Selected Indicators Received from the Morning Orthostatic Tests, Identifying Correlation Dependencies With Respect to the Training Load of the ČSB Athletes

Název práce: Hodnocení vybraných ukazatelů získaných z ranních ortostatických testů, hledání korelačních závislostí vzhledem k tréninkovému zatížení u sportovců ČSB. The evulation of selected indicators received from the moming orthostatic tests, searching for the correlative dependencies with respect to the training load ofthe ČSB athletes. Cíle práce: Analýza individuální závislosti průběhů vybraných hodnot měření ortostatických testů (ORT) na objemu tréninkového zatížení a vlivu aklimatizace. Získat poznatky o validitě použití ORT v tréninkové praxi, které by mohly být doporučující pro další využívání ORT ve sportovní přípravě pro biatlon. Metoda: Zkoumání veličin průměrné srdeční frekvence, variačního rozpětí srdeční frekvence a maximální srdeční frekvence pomocí bodových grafů, které znázorňují závislost na objemu tréninkového zatížení. K určení spolehlivosti závislosti jmenovaných veličin bylo použito regresní analýzy. Výsledky: Výsledky osvětlují závislost vybraných ukazatelů na objemu tréninkového zatížení, zároveň porovnávají změny vybraných ukazatelů na aklimatizační efekt a na efekt maximálního tréninkového zatížení z předchozího dne. Support of Requirements Specifications Methods

There is a significant change in how we collect software requirements nowadays. The two main reasons are the emergence of service oriented architecture and the rising importance of the user involvement. This thesis briefly summarizes the past work in the requirements engineering field and gives an overview of today's requirements management software tools. It then focuses on Service oriented architecture and how its spreading can change requirements specification and management processes. Considering the survey which was conducted for this work among (not only) software companies and a case study based on author's experience, the thesis gives a recommendation on how we should collect requirements in the current situation and near future. To give a proof of concept, the recommendations were implemented in a real world application architecture.

Z vlastní zkušenosti si dovolíme uvést, že je opravdu málo lidí, na jejichž obličeji se při zmínce o Lacerbě vytvoří jiný než nechápavý výraz. Poté, co z onoho minima chápajících vyloučíme ty, kteří mají slušný herecký talent, ale vubec netuší, o čem je řeč a dále pak obyvatele Milána, kteří Lacerbu osobně navštívili a moc jim tam chutnalo, popř. nechutnalo1 I ZLJStane nám jen hrstečka italianistu, pár netradičních Italu-intelektuálu a jedna knihovnice, kteří budou vědět, že řeč je o časopisu z počátku minulého století. Má tedy vubec cenu psát o něčem, co se zdá být zcela mimo oblast zájmu i nadprŮměrně kulturně vzdělaných jedincu? Domníváme se - jak se čtenář stihl dovtípit již z názvu této práce - že ano. Připomenutí této téměř sto let staré kapitoly jednoho revolučního hlasu v italské literatuře možná nepřinese žádný nečekaný objev ani převratné odhalení, myslíme si ale, že když Lacerba dokázala zaujmout a pobavit nás, mohla by zajímat a třeba snad bavit i ostatní. Již mnohokráte jsme ve stručnosti museli vysvětlovat, co to ta Lacerba vlastně je. Zkusme to shrnout "in parole povere" i nyní: Lacerba je časopis, který vycházel ve Florencii v letech 1913 až 1915. Interpretation of the Snow Queen Story in Terms of Depth Psychology

This thesis is focused on the analysis of Andersen's Snow Queen. At first it paraphrases the classical form of Andersen's version of this story. It delineates what we know about the topic, it defines the concepts and basic meanings which can be discovered in this fairy tale. It also focuses on the other shapes of the tale and it looks for another variations of the topic. Than it uses the gained knowledges for interpretation of pictures.
