Foreigners and the process of social-economic integration in the Czech Republic
Lelková, Michaela ; Kadeřábková, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Jetmar, Marek (referee)
The bachelor thesis is devoted to an analysis of foreigners integration in the Czech Republic as one of the most discussed problems afflicting European territory. Inflow of immigrants coming to Czech Republic is raising rapidly and without having a proper conception of the integration policy, they will never have a chance to integrate fully to the Czech society. The main aim is to introduce and review the strategy, conception and deficiencies of that policy as well as to show the unsubstitutable role of state in this process. For better understanding thesis discusses administrative barriers, legislation, financing and importance of local level. Last but not least, it explains the necessity of non-profit associations and evaluates its efficiency. While it concentrates on the Czech integration policy, the thesis also looks at regional analysis of foreigners sojourning in Czech regions. It shows the biggest ethnical minorities living in the Czech Republic and introduces the common features of regions these minorities are staying in. Furthermore, thesis deals with the impact of the actual economic crisis on the process of foreigners integration in the Czech Republic. The goal is to emphasize the urgency of solving this worldwide phenomen.

The behavior of stock rates in view of behavioral finance
Havlíček, David ; Musílek, Petr (advisor) ; Veselá, Jitka (referee)
Thesis deals with analysis and interpretation of movements of share rates in the view of behavioral finance. It examines how investor psychology, as one man, and the characteristics of the crowd and their influence on the behavior of the markets. This work represents some of the theoretical concepts of behavioral finance, which are contrary to the postulates of the theory of efficient markets, as well as empirical evidence on market anomalies that serve as the basis of arguments advocates of behavioral finance. The theoretical parts are dismembered some of the main influences acting on the psychology of investors, with a strong emphasis on the scarcity of arbitration, and some selected problems of the theory. In the practical part in the three experiments proven results confirming the interpretation of behavioral finance.

Instore communication
Walzelová, Veronika ; Zamazalová, Marcela (advisor) ; Nikolič, Marta (referee)
The Thesis looks into problems of in-store communication from Brief of POS to final placement at the store. The core of the Thesis is to reveal non-efficient fields of otherwise very successful tools. The goal is to verify hypothetic problems which influence full effectiveness of POS tools at retail stores. The Thesis brings a different frame of reference and tries to reveal problems and make them visible, but to find out solutions as well. The results are supported by researches from 3 different fields. They are the customer research, the supplier and POS implementer research, and retail research (hypermarket). The methods used are observation, interview (personal and questionnaire) and assisted shopping. Confirmed problems which follow from researches and influence the effectiveness of POS are these: no certain definition of POS goals; inadequate attractiveness of POS for customers; low-cost production instead of creativity and originality; no harmony between material of display and exposed products and bad cooperation between all subjects within process of POS.

Chelating polymers for the therapy of Wilson's disease
Mattová, Jana ; Poučková, Pavla (advisor) ; Sedláková, Zdeňka (referee) ; Vávrová, Jiřina (referee)
Wilson's disease is a hereditary disorder of copper metabolism, which causes copper accumulation in organism, especially in the liver, kidneys and brain. Current treatment is based on using low-molecular weight copper chelators and high doses of zinc salts. Unfortunately, they can induce some severe side effects due to systemic action. The aim of this thesis is to improve the treatment of Wilson's disease by using of polymeric drug delivery systems. The size of polymer particles in tens of microns should provide non-resorbability of the drug after oral administration. Synthetic microparticles of poly(glycidyl methacrylate-co- ethylene dimethacrylate), natural microcrystalline cellulose and cross-linked chitosan were used as polymer matrices. N,N-di(2-pyridylmethyl)amine, triethylenetetraamine and 8-hydroxyquinoline were selected as specific copper chelators, which can complex copper cations with high efficiency. The principle of the proposed treatment is that the polymeric carrier-bound chelator complex copper directly from the food in digestive tract of the organism. Because of non-resorbability, the entire complex should be eliminated from the body together with stools. This virtually eliminates systemic side effects. The ability of adsorption of copper and the stability of polymer complex under...

Genus Haemophilus and laboratory examinations in medicine today
KADLECOVÁ, Jana
My bachelor´s thesis focuses on the most major pathogen of the genus named Haemophilus, and Haemophila influenzae. H. influenzae is an originator of more serious infections, mainly its type b, which is the most virulent organism, causing invasive diseases mainly with children and older people. It causes mainly meningitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. In the theoretical part of my bachelor´s thesis I write about the genus Haemophilus and clinic significances of the most famous species which occur at present. The genus Haemophilus is an aerobic and a facultative aerobic gram that means it is a negative bacteria, which is characteristic for its arduous requests for accretion. I used some methods for the diagnosis. I used the following methods a test with growth factors, which is a common diagnostic method, which distinguishing Haemophilus according to their addiction to the growth factors. This method is financially very demanding and currently the mason being why its results are not so accurate. But thanks to a new technology a more modern method called MALDI TOF weight spektronomie (MS) was found, which is easier, quicker and more accurate than the first one. MALDI TOF enables a diagnosis of the most demanding pieces of bacteria, yeast and mushrooms. The MALDI TOF diagnosis is characterized by undisputed reliability and cost effectiveness. Lactam antibiotics, mainly antibiotics - co-amoxicilin and chloramfenikol are used as treatment methods against Heamophilus. Against serious infections can one protect themselves with a vaccination the Hib vaccination. In the practical part of my bachelor´s thesis I described some processes and laboratory diagnostics of the pathogen H. influenza by methods MALDI TOF MS and by the Test for growth factories in a microbiological laboratory named Synlab, czech s.r.o., in České Budějovice. The results of how frequently H. influenza occurred in the year 2013, were gained from of the previously mentioned laboratory information system and were transported into the other laboratory from a field office of general practisioners. The other aim of my bachelor´s thesis was to compare severity and of each method. HYPOTHESIS 1: The frequency of H. influenzae in the year 2013 depends on a season. HYPOTHESIS 2: The MALDI TOF MS method is reliable and fast for identification of the genus Haemophilus. The Test with growth factories is not so reliable and fast. From the results it is obvious that the frequency of H. influenzae depends on the season. Heamophilus are very demanding and sensitive bacteria for cultivation and they need optimal conditions for their accretion. In this season the viral diseases increase and they can affect the process of the treatment. During the comparison of these two methods I managed to prove that the second hypothesis MALDI TOF is useful in a diagnosis. This method is not demanding. And the result can be obtained in a few minutes. At the end of my thesis it can be said that the MALDI TOF MS method is fast, reliable and an efficient diagnosis tool for identification of microorganisms. MALDI TOF MS has become an effective method for taxonomic classifications and microbiological studies. The MALDI TOF MS method is fast and there are minimal costs for consumables in samples.

Care Allowance as a Financial Instrument for Social Services in the Czech Republic
Fárová, Věra ; Čabanová, Bohumila (advisor) ; Kotrusová, Miriam (referee)
This thesis deals with problems of financing social service and with using care allowance as an instrument of social policy. The need for affordable and quality social services for the elderly results from prognosis of the demographic trends of aging population and it is always of interest to social policy that tincludes new tools in addressing social protection to people who depend on additional care. Determination of the public policy problem is based on a study and an analysis of available data, referring to the finding that the care allowance is not (as opposed to the intention of the law), used sufficiently as one of the sources of financing social service providers. My thesis is based on findings, which brings a theory of social inclusions as the prevention of a social exclusion of people because of a reduced self-sufficiency and a theory of a quality of life under which is necessary to ensure individual's everyday needs; later it focuses on a concept of a social protection of people in important public policy documents. The research deals with fundamental changes in the concept of the care allowance under the law No. 108/2006 Coll. on social services and the impact of these changes on the recipients of care, informal care providers and institutional social services. It analyzes public records and...
