Financial analysis of selected company
Macura, Filip ; Mach, Jiří (advisor) ; Hálová, Pavlína (referee)
The main task of my bachelor thesis, which is "financial analysis of selected company "is to assess the financial condition of company Steeltec.cz ,Ltd. Company is major manufacturer of garden suppliers for company called Gardena. The first part is theoretical and it's primary focused on concepts of financial analysis, in the second part are descriptions of methods that are consecutively used in practical part that follows. Regarding practical part, it's dedicated to examine selected company by the methods mentioned in theoretical part. At the end is the summery and evaluation of financial health as well as recommendations for future well-being of the company.

Preparedness of young people for life after leaving Halfway house
ZRONKOVÁ, Magdalena
Bachelor thesis "Preparedness of young people for the life after leaving Halfway houses" deals with the situation of people, who leave institutional care. These people get into a difficult situation. They find themselves on the threshold of "real adult life" and now it depends only on themsleves, how their lives would continue. The right first step and to overcome the initial period is a very big and a difficult task for them because of the dysfunctional and disturbed social realitonship of their oriinal family. My bachelor thesis finds what steps are bulit for this target group and then it investigates, how the young adults orientate themselves in provided services and how they perceive their situation.

Attention in preschool children
Černá, Veronika ; Trpišovská, Dobromila (advisor) ; Viktorová, Ida (referee)
English abstrakt The main task of the thesis is to identify and measure the attention of children of preschool age. It is divided into two parts. Theoretical part, which is devoted to the definition of attention, provides a comprehensive overview of the history beginning with the issue, describes the different types, characteristics, attention disorders and conditions affecting the attention. An integral part is a description of the preschool child and work with children of preschool age. The second part of the research, then engaged in empirical research with preschool children. Children in kindergarten were placed on various characteristics of the tests of attention. These tests were then evaluated and processed. Were investigated differences in tasks between children and between the three established groups of children Bachelor thesis aims to answer the question, what are the differences between the four-year, five year old and six year old children and compares the performance and level of awareness among different groups of children. Key words: attention, attention characteristics, pre-school children

The possibilities of using nanoparticles of various metals as the markers for immunocytochemical labelling in field emission scanning electron microscopy
EIBLOVÁ, Veronika
Nowadays, electron microscopy is a widespread method used in many biological branches like medicine, physical science, mikrobiology or material technology. Scanning electron microscope is a type of an electron microscope that shows the sample surface by scanning it with a high-energy beam of electrons in a raster scan pattern. The signal of electrons reveals information about the sample such as morphology, chemical composition and structure and materials. Gold nanoparticles are widely used as a marker for immunolabeling in these days. The main point of this research was to find other nanoparticles, which can be used for multiple immunolabeling. The main task of this study is to conjugate these particles with atibodies, to use them for immunolocalisation on the convenient biological sample and to observe it in FESEM JEOL JSM-7401F.

Online system for creating mind maps
KUDRNA, Lukáš
The bachelor thesis deals with online systems for the design and creation of conceptual maps and mind maps. Maps are a method of recording information, helping to organize this information, describe and classify. The task is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is an analysis of already available online systems for creating mind maps. Common functionality of these systems are listed in the summary table along with brief descriptions. This section also contains a selection of the most appropriate technology for system implementation. The practical part is the actual system implementation based on a theoretical analysis and process design. The final step is putting the system into operation.

Unhealthy forms of eating in schools (except for the school kitchen) in children with visual, hearing, mental or physical disability aged 8 to 15 years in the South Bohemian Region
SVOBODOVÁ, Jana
The task is to monitor unhealthy forms of eating (except for school canteen) of children with visual, hearing, mental and physical disabilities at the age of 8-15 years in South Bohemia Region. The aim is to investigate the possibility of food for children, the use of cafeterias, vending machines and determine the quality of the food.

Calculations of nanocrystalline diamond-covered waveguides based on amorphous silicon
Jirásek, Vít ; Prajzler, Václav ; Remeš, Zdeněk
Nanocrystalline diamond (NCD) coatings on planar waveguides (WG) in the IR region allow to design optical sensors sensitive to absorbers like proteins or other biomolecules. In this contribution, we present a 2D model of a multi-layer WG developed under FEM (finite element method) simulation software Comsol Multiphysics. The model is based on the modified wave equation solved in the frequency domain and includes optical absorption. It was found that for the single-mode WG working in the narrow region of 1550-2000 nm the silicon thickness must be 150-320 nm. It was found that in order to keep a reasonable signal attenuation, the NCD film must be prepared with the optical absorption coefficient lower than 10 cm-1, being a rather challenging task. Dependencies of the signal attenuation on the NCD film thickness, absorbing layer height, its absorption coefficient and exciting wavelengths are presented.\n

Is it possible to demonstrate selection in science teaching? Simulation of natural selection in a model organism.
MARVANOVÁ, Aneta
This thesis examines the effect of natural selection on the rate of development of Microvelia reticulata. Natural selection is an integral part of evolutionary biology. The main task was to determine whether the selection of the developmental rate reflected in the change of development. Selected individuals were reared in the same conditions from egg to imago in a total of three replications in a strain selected for rapid development, slow development and unmanipulated control. There was distinct increase in developmental rate between initial and first selected generation all replications of control strain, followed by slight decrease in all succeeding generations. Similar pattern was present in the strains selected for slow development. A comparably distinct increase in developmental rate appeared also in the strains selected for the fast development, but it was not followed by succeeding slowdown, or the slowdown of the developmental rate was not as remarkable as in other strains. According to not too convincing results and remarkable time and space demands of this research, it is unreal to run similar long-term experiment in school conditions. Research was supported by project of the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic no. P505/10/0096.

Human Capital and Investing into it in the Selected Company
Kosa, Kristina ; Šrédl, Karel (advisor) ; Hana, Hana (referee)
In this graduate work studied problems of human capital and investing in it. Currently, the concept of human capital is widely used. From all enterprise resources, especially in human capital contains the greatest scope for increasing the efficiency of the functioning of modern enterprise. Human capital is becoming the object of investing together with technical equipment, buildings, technologies. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts of human capital, basic viewpoints on human capital theory. The goal of this graduate work is the comparison points of view on the human capital theory and forecasts of market development of human capital in the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation. In the practical part analyzed investing behavior of the Russian group of companies Master in human capital. The task of the practical part is to find out how the company trying to develop its human capital.

Empirický bayesovský přístup v mikromodelech pro výpočet rizika rezerv
Fedorčáková, Claudia ; Zimmermann, Pavel (advisor) ; Bílková, Diana (referee)
The traditional reserve estimation by an insurance company is based on the aggregated data. However, new trend is to utilize all the information available and analyse each claim separately. This way the application of claims specific features, such as non-proportional reinsurance or policy limits, is possible. The aim of this thesis is to construct the reserving model based on the individual claims. Following the recent legislative changes, the reserve risk has been redefined from ultimate claim horizon to a one-year risk horizon. Hence, the next task is to setup simulation model to calculate one year horizon reserve risk by updating the estimates based on new observations collected over one year. This is a typical task for Bayesian approach, therefore the model components are estimated using the tools of Bayesian statistics.
