Requirements for compliance with ethical standards in the context of B2B contracts of sale
Kurková, Natálie ; Patěk, Daniel (advisor) ; Eichlerová, Kateřina (referee)
5 Requirements for compliance with ethical standards in the context of B2B contracts of sale Abstract With increasing requirements for non-financial reporting, as adherence to ethical standards becomes a focal point of interest for entrepreneurs, the legal framework offers an effective mechanism for ensuring compliance - a contract. First, the thesis explores the terminology associated with ethical standards, which is both extensive and fragmented. The diverse terminology can contribute to misunderstandings and complicates the exploration of how ethical standards can be incorporated into contractual relationships. The emphasis within the thesis is placed on identifying, defining and unifying key terms, which is essential in order to ensure clear comprehension of the topic and facilitating dialogue between experts across disciplines. The thesis focuses on the possibilities of integrating ethical standards into B2B purchase contracts within the legal framework of the Czech Republic. The thesis aims to explore whether and how ethical standards can be incorporated into the contractual relationship, identifying and examining two primary methods: through the characteristics of the purchase item and incorporation separate from the contract matter. The thesis examines the application challenges associated with...
Light induced catalytic degradation of a series of common antibiotics and the corresponding HPLC analysis
Smítková, Karolína ; Klusoň, Petr (advisor) ; Krystyník, Pavel (referee)
1 Abstract The continuous advance in industry, general intensification of processes and urbanisation inevitably leads to production of new substances each year, collectively referred to as emerging pollutants (EPs). As the mass production of EPs increases, the demand for wastewater treatment plants also dramatically increases. The inadequacy of conventional tretament plants in removing EPs, such as pharmaceuticals, pesticides, personal care products, and others, results in the presence of these substances in surface and groundwater at significant concentrations. The often negative or unclear impact of EPs to the environment furhter emphasizes the urgency of this issue and requires a corresponding response. Photocatalysis belongs to the co-called advanced oxidation processes, key techniques for ensuring effective wastewater treatment. This thesis is focused on the photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline, trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole, three common antibiotics frequently found in wastewater. Graphitic carbon nitride, a promising material in research of fotocatalytic degradation, was used as a photocatalyst and was activated by visible light emitted from a mercury xenon lamp. Experiments were conducted in batch setup and in microphotoreactor to compare the efficiency of both systems. Rhodamine B was...

Design of antenna for LoRaWAN module
Paulysko, Tomáš ; Láčík, Jaroslav (referee) ; Bednarský, Vojtěch (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the design, optimization, and implementation of compact antennas for LoRaWAN modules operating in the European 868 MHz frequency band. The goal is to create antennas that are not only effective and compact but also easily integrated into 3D printed enclosures of IoT devices. During the work, three different configurations of microwave structures containing antennas were designed and numerically modeled. These antennas were subsequently manufactured and tested. The measurements demonstrated their ability to achieve a reflection coefficient below -15 dB. The best structure achieved a realized gain of 1.13 dBi. The work also highlights the need for further tuning and adaptation of antennas to ensure optimal parameters in various applications.

Design of the "twist off" lid tightening machine
Jirásek, Vojtěch ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
In the thesis is dealt with the structural design of a machine (and its structural components) for closing jars with twist-off lids. Common design solutions used in practice and their characteristics are mentioned. The selection of structural elements suitable for semi-automatic production was made out of these. The tightening torque of the chosen lids was determined to choose the tightening drive. The required clamping force was calculated to ensure the transfer of the tightening torque without undesirable slippage of the jar or lid, then a suitable linear pneumatic drive was chosen. The required time to complete each operation during sealing was calculated to check the production capacity.
