Náprstek, Jiří
The railway bridges of small and medium spans have shownthe vibrations of resonance character which could be caused by high speed trains with their great number of axles inregular distances.

Simulation of cutting force during milling process with straight tooth plain milling cutter.
Zemčík, Tomáš ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
To make a simulation of cutting force during milling process with cilindrical cutter is the aim of this diploma thesis. Preliminary part is devoted to technology of milling, milling cutters and cutting materials. The next section is aimed at kinematics of the cutting process, a theoretical analysis of power proportion, the possibility of measurement of force actions. General information about the programming software, a theoretical simulation model, graphical environment of created application, are the other points of this diploma thesis. The work also includes evaluation of the experimentally measured values and compared with values obtained from the created application.

Magnus and Drag Forces Acting on Golf Ball
Kharlamov, Alexander ; Chára, Zdeněk ; Vlasák, Pavel
The paper describes the results of experiments with a rotating golf ball moving quasi-steadily in calm water. The motion of the ball was recorded on a digital video camera. The Cartesian coordinates and the angle of rotation of the ball were determined from the records of motion. The dimensionless drag force coefficient, Magnus force coefficient and translational and rotational Reynolds numbers were calculated from the time series of the ball coordinates and the angle of rotation for each recorded frame. The calculated data were averaged over rectangular cells on experimental domain on the plane of translational and rotational Reynolds numbers, i.e. 1.2 104 < Re < 1.6 104 and 3.8 103 < Reω < 2.7 104. The coefficients were presented in tabulated form.

Výzkum odporové síly a točivého momentu rotující koule pohybující se v klidné vodě
Kharlamov, Alexander ; Kvurt, Y. ; Chára, Zdeněk ; Vlasák, Pavel
The paper describes results of experiments with rotating spherical particles moving quasi-steadily in the calm water. The motion of the particles was recorded by a digital video camera. The Cartesian coordinates and the angle of rotation of the particles were determined from the record of the particles motion. The dimensionless drag coefficient, drag moment coefficient and translational and rotational Reynolds numbers were calculated from the time series of the particles coordinates and angle of rotation for each recorded frame. The effect of the particles translational motion on the drag moment and the effect of the particles rotation on the drag force were evaluated from the experimental data.

The effect of gait training with a prosthesis on stability and parameters in patients with thigh amputation
Tučková, Tereza ; Smékal, David (advisor) ; Kálal, Jan (referee)
Diploma thesis "Effect of gait school with prosthesis on stability and walking parameters of patients after transfemoral amputation deals with problems of patients after transfemoral amputation due to vascular etiology. It mentions elementary knowledge of rehabilitation after amputation of lower extremity. Furthermore, there are described main complications that amputation brings into the patient ́s life: pain associated with amputation, skin complications and psychological hardships. Emphasis is laid on gait and gait practice for patients with amputation. I further deal with deviations commonly observed on gait of these patients and with factors influencing the gait, including the influence of particular parts of the prosthesis on patients ́ gait. The practical part is dedicated to comparison of two different approaches to gait practice. The effect of these approaches is evaluated on the basis of results of two groups of patients. The results were gathered by examination on force plate, measurement of gait velocity, examination of gait cadence and evaluation of patients ́s gait videos. Furthermore, I use functional tests: LCI - 5, ABIS - R, ABC scale and PEQ. All of these examinations were performed at the beginning and in the end of patients ́ stay at the Clinic of rehabilitation in Hradec Králové. The...

Literature, human being and the world according to Přemysl Blažíček
Šimák, Petr ; Špirit, Michael (advisor) ; Vojvodík, Josef (referee)
In the thesis, the author tries to trace throughout Blazicek's monographies and other texts a unified approach to methods of literary interpretation. In this, he concerns on immanent interpretation of texts based on pointing out how the world-view expressed in a text differs from reader's consciousness. It forces the reader to give up categorial schemes of understanding the actual world. Thus the reader must grasp the world in the stage of its creating or genesis - it means the world made of artefacts. The reader's standpoint is enriched by that and he/she finds the meaning of reality illusive and constructed, not given.

The evacuation of villages in Vyškov region in 1939-1945. The broadening of the Vyškov military area for the needs of German occupying army
Leznar, Marek ; Kokoška, Stanislav (referee) ; Šedivý, Ivan (advisor)
The Vyškov Military Area was established for the needs of the Czechoslovak military forces in 1935 in the area of former woodland of the Olomouc Bishopric. There was established the training centre for tankists, the casern and a few tankist units by the year 1938. After the occupation of the rest of Czechoslovakia by German army in 1939 the Vyškov Military Area passed over to the control of wehrmacht. Its command with cooperation of German Protectoral Offices decided the broadening of Vyškov Military Area for its needs to the prejudice of surrounding villages. Germans for the expropriation of the surrounding area used the law of the First Republic number 25 from 1935 about the expropriation of the real estate for purpose of the defence of the state. The whole action was the responsibility of the Protectorate Land Office for Bohemia and Moravia (Bodenamt) - the seat in Prague - which established in Vyškov the Office of Relocation. It was subordinated to the Protectorate Department of Home Affairs. The moving of villages in the zone around Vyškov began in spring in 1941 and finished in the end of 1944.

Techniky zpracování tuhých a tekutých kovů založené na elektromagnetické indukci
Doležel, Ivo ; Šolín, Pavel ; Musil, Ladislav ; Ulrych, B. ; Karban, P. ; Barglik, J.
A lot of up-to-date industrial technologies associated with treatment of solid and liquid metals are based on thermal and force effects of electromagnetic field. The fundamental process is induction heating of metals that precedes a number of consequent operations such as tempering, drying, melting, stirring, hardening, hot pressing etc. The paper summarizes physical essence of the above processes (that usually represent complex coupled problems) and presents their mathematical and computer models as well as possible methods of their solutions.

Design of Gear Timing Mechanism for SI Engine
Štábl, Tomáš ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
Tomáš ŠTÁBL Design of Gear Timing Mechanism for SI Engine MT, IAE, 2009, 62 pp., 27 fig. This master thesis is concerning the valve train proposal of the spark ignition engine for sports purposes. Antecedent to the actual proposal is the division and retrieval of the modern valve trains, the valve train acting forces description, division and description of the individual valve-lift curve parts , valve springs and the dynamic models of the valve train. In the thesis there are designed the valve lift curves with the continuous course of acceleration, valve springs and valve springs natural oscillations damper for engine Honda CBR 929RR. The dynamic analysis of valve train approach is performed.

Determination of load force components for cars parts with complicated geometry
Bednarz, Tomáš ; Houfek, Lubomír (referee) ; Krejčí, Petr (advisor)
Diploma project is aimed to load force vector decomposition to x, y and z direction for complicated Skoda car parts. The methodology of decomposition is based on measuring of car parts deformation by strain gauges and mathematical identifation of force compoments by neural network (ANN). ANN will be trained by results of FE model simulations or by calibration on real car parts.
