Influence of social politics on fertility rate in specific regions of Czech republic

Thesis is focused on relationship between fertility rate and tools of state support. The goal is to reveal relationship between these two factors. Partial goal is to discover specific effects of tools of state support in specific regions of Czech republic. I have aimed on research at national level and also specific regions between years 1993-2014. In order to find these relationships I used method that compares differences in development of the fertility rate. After that, I set up regression model solved by method called fixed effects. For specific regions analysis was used OLS method. Model was able to explain more than 80 % of variability. This results can be used for predicting of citizens behavior, when some changes in family allowances occurs. Main finding is, that most motivating tools are parenting allowances and child benefits.

RNDr. František Trojánek, Ph.D. Supervisor e-mail adress: Frantisek.Trojanek@mff.cuni.cz Abstract: This diploma thesis is oriented to study of nonlinear properties in semiconductor nanocrystals using ultrashort femtosecond pulses. There is a detailed description of theory and experimental setup of the z-scan method, which can be used to measure the nonlinear refractive index and two-photon absorption coefficient. In the theoretical part we describe the influence of measurement by quality of laser beam, quality and thickness of the sample. There are numerical simulations of measurements influenced by these parameters. This theory is used for processing of measured dates by a simple program, which is attached to this thesis on CD. In experimental part we were measured nonlinear refractive indeces of diamond nanocrystals fabricated by the PECVD method, silicon and CdS nanocrystals in glass matrices. One part of this thesis was also the preparation and optimalization of experimental setup and increasing the signal/noise ratio. Cultural capital of Bratislava and its influence on tourism

This thesis is analyzing culture and tourism in Bratislava, which has already became tourist destination in the past and it has large potential to become a favourite destination due to its rich history, culture and nature. Firstly, there are given basic definitions for better orientation and understanding of this theme. Last part focuses on culture and tourism in Bratislava with a view to the city as a tourist destination. In thesis I focused on analysis of tourist infrastructure, competition, marketing and destination management. The part of the thesis is presenting the analysis of Bratislava culture and information centre, which is aimed to the city promotion.

WTO and regionalism - TTIP case study

This paper describes current trends in regional integration and their mutual relationship with multilateral integration represented by the WTO. A special attention is given to the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), an emerging agreement between the European Union and the United States. The first chapter provides an introduction to the topic of new regionalism and factors, which influence its development. The second chapter concentrates on how regional agreements are handled by the WTO and also on the relationship between multilateral and regional integration. The subject of the third chapter is a TTIP case study as an example of the so called mega-regionalism and possible impact of this agreement on the world trading system.

Chamber music - development of musicality and creativity

This work treats of chamber music in several points of view. First, it deals with chamber music in itself; second, with its relation to the interpret; third, with its reference to the audience. Concerning the relation between the interpret and chamber music, we recognize different stages and levels of its prosecution - by children, pupils, amateurs and professional musicians. Further, we detect the impact of chamber music on a person listening to it. We find the positive influence of that music on diseased or handicapped people. We get knowledge of various competitions for chamber ensembles. In the end we acquaint with playing chamber music within my "initial" family and with an extract from arrangement of folksongs for children.

Contacts betweeen family and school on elementary school

Diploma thesis discusses the communication between family and teachers, especially the specific aspects of this interaction considering small schools. The communication between parents and teachers is one of the important parts of coordination of parents and school. Communication can be divided into direct, represented by f a c e - t o - f a ce contact between parents and teachers, and indirect, which comprise telephone conversation and other messages delivered by the pupils. This t h e s i s focuses on the direct type of communication. It aims to describe s p e c i f i c forms of direct communication in context of s p e c i f i c traits of r e l a t ed environment. We assume, that the village environment, which is common for small schools, doesn't suffer of anonymity of large cities, and that people in this environment generally have closer contacts with each other. Small schools are schools for 6 to 11 years old, o f f e r i n g only the primary level of education, for which the higher rate of p a r e n t - t e a c h e r i n t e r a c t i o n is typical. In these small schools, the primary education has the p o s s i b i l i t y to preserve i t ' s autonomy, and it i s n ' t influenced by the secondary level education, which appears to be dominant, when the both levels are combined. Evaluation of retirement care home in Tučapy

Abstract Evaluation of the Home for Seniors in Tučapy by its clients (after the change of legislation) The system of social services for elderly people is a set of activities that can help mitigate their unfavourable life situations. The causes of these situations can be related to their age, health state or difficult social position. The Act on Social Services no. 108/2006 effective from 01/01/07 moves the Czech Republic onto a higher level in the sphere of social services. The novelties in connection with the Act on Social services influence the following aspects of social services: the conception of social services, the types of offered services, the enlargement of the segment of social services providers and the conditions and rules obligatory for the providers. The allowances with which the persons in need are provided have also been changed, considering mainly the system of allowances distribution. In the thesis I concentrated on the observation of the practical influence and impact of the mentioned changes on the operation and daily activities in theHome, on social and health services offered to the seniors. The Home for Seniors had already functioned before the mentioned judicial changes so I had an opportunity to compare the previous status with the new situation and I could monitor the impact of the Act for one year after the beginning of its legal force. During the period of observation I could prove that the quality of health and social services had considerably improved. I found a significant change in the employees approach to their clients, obviously connected with the fact that a contractual base has been established and each client signs a contract with the Home for Seniors management. In the following period I also noticed an improvement of cooperation among social and health institutions and the state. Recently, social demands have been processed more flexibly, and a social and health services information network has been established.
