Visual art Motivation through Visual art Techniques in Pedagogy of Leisure Time

The diploma paper consists of two parts {--} theoretical and practical. There are explained notions related to visual art motivation in the theoretical part like creativity, imagination and fantasy, explanation of chosen visual art techniques, definition of younger pupil age, explication of pedagogy of leisure time and pedagogue of leisure. The practical part consists of visual art project which is composed of visual art activities. The visual art project is realized at the school nursery with pupils of the first and the second classes. Each part of the project contains various motivational elements. There is an obvious interconnection among particular subjects {--} fine art, physical education and music.

Balance-related exercise as a preparation to cross-country skiing practice in visually impaired children

Title: Balance-related excercise as a preparation to cross-country skiing practice in visually impaired children. Objectives of the Thesis: The goal of this thesis is to test the possibilitiy of implementation of selected balance- related excercise in visually impaired children. Method: The testing pool consisted of six pupils attending the Special school for Visually Impaired Children between 14 and 15 years of age. Over the period of ten weeks, selected exercise geared towards the cross-country skiing was practiced with these students. The research method applied to measure students' indicators of balance before and after the excercise was an assessment of standing stability at the Footscan pressure table, as well as a walking test in terrain with blinded eyes. Results and Conclusions: This research has indicated the possibility of physical intervention in form of balance- related practice as part of the preparation before the cross-country skiing season begins. It has proven that selected balance-related excercise can be applied with no limitations during the physical education classes for visually impaired pupils. Problems relating to the visually handicapped pupils at Jaroslav Ježek School

Title: Problems relating to the visually handicapped pupils at Jaroslav Ježek School Aim. of work: Mapping and evaluating the present sports possibilities of the visually handicapped pupils in the 2. stage of Jaroslav Ježek basic school in Prague. The aim is to concentrate on the facts that the pupils perceive as barriers and that hinder them from physical activities. Method: To reach the above mentioned aim there were compiled and sorted the necessary data. We made a survey for the pupils and furthermore we evaluated the acquired data. On the basis of the acquired information we proposed the enlargement of sports possibilities and proved them in practise. Results and conclusions: The school currently offers a wide portfolio of sports possibilities and thus both within the physical education lessons and in various sport clubs, and further by arranging the participation of the pupils in various republic sports competitions. The visually handicapped pupils have a chance to familiarize themselves with the basics of athletics, swimming, cycling, applied sports and physical games, traditional skiing, and also for example water sports, wall climbing, horse riding, in-line skating and other outdoor activities. Bridge across the I/11 road

This diploma thesis deals with a project of a road bridge. The bridge is located on a second class road S 7.5/50 and goes over a I/11 road and a local road crossing in Bystřice. Three options of the road bridge are conceived out of which the connected beam girder is chosen for further development. A calculation of the structural stability of the load-bearing construction, that includes time analysis of the construction work (i.e. particular phases of the construction), is added to the project. The structural stability calculation is assessed in accordance with valid European standards. Drawing documentation, a time schedule and 3D visualization of the road bridge is also attached to the diploma thesis.

Prestressed bridge No. 209 over the expressway R2 in Slovakia

This thesis deals with a design of the bridge for second class highway S7,5 through speedway R2 in Slovakia. From the three proposed versions the version with unicameral structure was chosen for further detailed analysis. The longitudinal direction of the structure is designed as continuous three fields. The lenght of the spans is 23,1 + 33,0 + 23,1 m. Detailed design of the selected version of the structure of prestressed concrete bridge is processed according to limiting conditions, including consideration of the impact of the progressive construction of the bridge. It is elaborated a detailed structural analysis including drawings and visualization.

Kindergarten

This thesis describes the design of a kindergarten in Novy Jicin. It is a detached building on a large and gently sloping land. Visually, kindergarten divided into three parts and it is on two-storey part of themselves compartment attached with two-storey in the middle part. The building has a rugged design (form L-shaped). The building is brick sand-lime blocks with contact thermal insulation system, based upon the strips foundation, nobasement and covered with a warm flat roof. In the single-storey part there is the only MS (max. 25 children). In the middlesection of two-storey there is a main part of kindergarden on the first floor and kindergarten facilities located on the second floor there is a small department with special classes (max. 10 children). The layout of the building is consistent with the operation of kindergartens, fulfill the requirements for barrier-free use, safety, fire resistance and overall stability. The building includes parking for 15 cars. The work includes project documentation for the construction and specialization.

Hotel with Boarding Camp in Zruč nad Sázavou

The subject of the diploma thesis is design a new hotel with boarding camp in Zruč nad Sázavou. The building is situated near the river Sázava on flat terrain. Emphasis is placed on the total visual impression of the building and how the building could blend in with the surrounding landscape. The hotel will serve as recreational facility with short-term accommodation. The hotel has swimming pool, conference room and public laundry. The building has three floors above and no basement. The project includes a flat roof with an attic.

Completion of the BUT - Faculty of Fine Arts

The object consists of 3 volumes: two 6-storey academic buildings, interconnected with public space. Simple geometry of complex is formed by the existing urban development. Repeating street directions and continuing visual contact with the housing of the Law Faculty, the building in terms of shape represents letter V and forms enclosed courtyards. In the lower part of the building of the Faculty of Fine Arts there are workrooms, library and repository that are loaded from the north facade. The first three floors are connected by a corridor with a recreational area of public space created for a comfortable communicating and solitary classes. On the other floors there are workshops, studios and studio offices of ceramics, sculpture, metal, photography, printing and 3D-graphics, cabinets of deanery and classrooms. On the top floor, that is 6 m height, there are art studios, additionaly lightened by lanterns on the roof. The housing is designed in that way that it has the open airy atrium, which, along with half-transparent facades, provides natural light in most interiors. Facade structure is highlighted with the shell of the vertical and horizontal aluminum fins and shelves, which gives to a compex an interesting and constantly changing pattern. Unified composition is also highlighted with shades of warm and cold colors of the spectrum. Four underground floors are used for car parking, and the ground flloor of them is given for the operation of the university. In the future, the project also envisages planting of greenery of building facades and of the surrounding area.

Urban design of waterfront in Třebíč

The thesis of my dissertation is an urban design of waterfront of Jihlava river in Třebíč, which runs through the center of the city and becomes its part. The inner city and the river basin are wedged into the valley, which is formed by a rocky terrain. The territory I am dealing with concerns several parts of Třebíč – Stařečka, the Inner Town, Zámostí and Podklášteří. This area is defined from the south by an arterial road and the bus station across the Suchniova street, and the main road on the Smila Osovského street. From the north, this area is lined by a rocky terrain, conservation area – the Jewish town which is registered on a UNESCO World Heritage List, under chateau meadow, continuing up to the summer swimming area Polanka. The outcome of this thesis is a total revitalization of described area and transformation of this town into an attractive Down structure that would offer a wide range of leisure activities, not only for people living in this territory but for tourists as well. The described territory is divided into several parts – the part in proximity to the outdoor swimming pool Polanka, then the part concerning the bus station and the right riverside. The main idea is to interconnect these parts and to komplete the urban structure following the original structure of the buildings. The new buildings would be mostly residential, with commercial and administrative areas on the first three floors. This administrative part also creates some sort of noise barrier from the arterial road. Clean areas intended for living are localized along the riverside in the western part of Stařečka. The flat orientation responds to the calm potential of Jihlava river, which creates a pleasant visual perception. Therefore, the quiet rooms are orientated to the north. Along the banks of the Jihlava river is proposed a quiet zone with both sport and recreational character, which helps changes of passive and active zones. In a close proximity of these

Roof of the swimming pool

This diploma thesis is about designing the structure of roof of swimming stadium. Three solutions are created - concrete arc with tie, steel truss slab and concrete pretensioned membrane. One choosed solution - concrete pretensioned membrane - is afterwards developed. In the beginning there are several designs of geometry fulfilling the requirements for given type of structure being created. In part of static calculation, the parametrical mathematical model in form of macro in APDL language for Ansys software has been created. Afterwards all the parameters (initial state of cables, level of pretension, dimensions of membrane and peripheral frame, etc.) has been optimized in order to the membrane be fulfilling criterias for ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state. Afterwards other selected parts of structure has been checked. On basis of designed geometry and design checks in static calculation the drawings of conctruction and designed parts has been created. In the end, the 3D model of the structure has been created in graphical software Rhinoceros. Then visualizations of structure in concstruction stages and after completion has been rendered.
