Influence of combined disability of children looked after the ARPIDA center on lifestyles of their families.
ČÍŽKOVÁ, Zdeňka
This diploma thesis deals with the care of a child with combined handicaps in the family. I investigated how the lifestyle of a family caring for a child with combined handicaps is affected. A sub-task was to explore this issue in a family caring for a child with combined handicaps who is a client of a nongovernmental non-profit facility, the centre ARPIDA, o.s., in České Budějovice. I used qualitative research methods in my diploma thesis. The chosen technique was a semi standardized interview with the parents and siblings of children with combined handicaps in care at the centre ARPIDA, o.s. A content analysis of data from individual client documentation from the centre ARPIDA, o.s., was used as a complementary technique. Based on these materials, I created five case studies of clients with combined handicaps. The theoretical part describes the important concepts and situations that are related to this issue. Particular attention then focuses on individual means of a comprehensive rehabilitation system which offer a comprehensive interdisciplinary care to families caring for a child with disabilities. In the practical part, I analyse the interviews carried out with the parents of children with combined handicaps. In particular, I examined their views of the changes that they arose in connection with the birth and care of a child with disabilities. I also had interviews with the healthy siblings of the children with disabilities. Thanks to these interviews, I gained interesting insights on this issue from the perspective of other family members. In conclusion, I state that the lifestyle of the parents and siblings of a child with combined handicaps is significantly affected by the birth of a disabled child. The parents often lose the opportunity to follow their professional careers and there is sometimes a negative impact on their health. They feel insufficiently appreciated by the state for their burdensome care for a child with combined handicaps. Due to this fact, healthy siblings become more mature and more sensitive individuals who are aware of critical life values. Based on the research part of my thesis, I defined three hypotheses in the end. Hypothesis 1: The parents are adversely affected in their health due to long care for a child with combined handicaps. Hypothesis 2: The most important quality in the care of a child with disabilities is patience. Hypothesis 3: Nongovernmental non-profit organizations are an important source of assistance to families with a child with disabilities in its natural environment. The diploma thesis should highlight the importance and unsubstitutability of families caring for a child with combined handicaps. This thesis may serve to professionals and students focusing on this issue, but also the parents of children with combined handicaps as their feedback.

TO LOVE LIFE IS A TRUE DIVINE SERVICE - Analysis of selected moral-theological treatises from the period of Joseph II
Lorman, Jaroslav ; Rethmann, Albert-Peter (advisor) ; Ovečka, Libor (referee)
Loving Life Is the True Divine Service - Analysis of Selected Morally Theological Treatises from the Period of Joseph II Jaroslav Lorman The work is focused on morally theological treatises from the period of Joseph II (1780-1790). From the point of view of Christian ethics, this period can be seen as the culmination of its gradual achievement of independence of dogmatic theology happening since the sixteenth century. The analysis is mainly based on three works: Augustin Zippe, Anleitung zur christlichen Sittenlehre der Vernunft und der Offenbarung (Prague 1778) and Von der moralischen Bildung angehender Geistlichen in Generalseminario zu Prag (Prague 1784) and Ignaz Fabiani, Grundzüge der kristlichen Sittenlehre (Vienna 1789). The main goal was to verify the existence of so called Catholic Enlightenment in the Czech environment. If it were shown that the Enlightenment authors, in our case the authors from the Joseph II period, did not act against the Church and religion and in fact they even identified with it, this would be an important argument against the old cliché that the fundamental elements of the Age of Enlightenment are antireligiosness and anticlericalism. We could even open another field of study - to what extent the Czech environment was influenced by that of German. The already...

Economic Value Added and its uses in practices
Gallová, Silvia ; Valach, Josef (advisor) ; Oceláková, Petra (referee)
A concept of EVA is critical in evaluating the performance of any business. Economic Value Added refers to the incremental value created by an activity or a business venture. It measures the economic rather than accounting profit created by a business after the cost of all resources including debt and equity had been implied. Improving EVA can be achieved by generating more revenue without using additional capital. The capital invested in the business might be reduced by selling non-operating assets and redeploying the capital into projects and activities with higher operating performance than current projects have. ...

Hudec, Jonatan ; Filipi, Pavel (advisor) ; Beneš, Ladislav (referee)
This work would like to point out to the preaching activities of Origen and John Chrysostom. At first it approaches the Christian preaching in the first centuries, in general. It deals with the individual topics used for the word of preaching at that time, attempts to classify the sermons according to different categories and also mentions the way in which the sermons were preserved, touching upon the question of authorship. The work also analyses the problems of the preaching activities of the fathers. In addition it also offers parts dedicated to the origins of the preaching and the circumstances in which they were created or pronounced. The main topic of the work is the oeuvre of the authors Origen and John Chrisostom, as well as the context of their preaching activities. Gradually, the work addresses Origen and the translation of his eleventh sermon on Jeremiah and offers a study of this sermon. The work also attends to Chrisostom and his activities as a preacher, again including the translation of one of his sermons. It is the sixth sermon on the Book of Genesis and its further analysis. New archaeological finds from Horská Kvilda
Hošek, Jiří ; Kudrnáč, Jaroslav
Several iron objects and pieces of slag, including a 14th to 15th centuries war-knife and horseshoe, were found in an area of medieval gold mines near Horská Kvilda in 2002. The war-knife had a blade of high quality with a butt-welded and quenched cutting edge, the handle was presumably made of horn and a guard piece was lily-shaped. There is no doubt that this weapon belongs among the more precious and decorated pieces and we can assume its relation to a higher social environment. The horseshoe (suitable for front hoofs) wasn’t provided by steel (in order to improve its abrasion resistance) and thus ranks among simple products.

The main part of the thesis focuses on presenting the Elements of the Philosophy of Right in view of the theme of thesis. The conclusion tries to summarize the acquired information and to outline the unsolved problems. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
