Irrationality in the decision- making of an individual as an economic entity in the territory of the Czech Republic
Böhm, Tomáš ; Zeman, Martin (advisor) ; Babin, Jan (referee)
The main objective of this thesis is an in-depth analysis of the decision-making process on issues of economic nature for individuals in the Czech Republic. The degree of rationality occurring in consumer behavior is evaluated based on lessons learned. The theoretical section is concerned with the economic aspect of the decision-making process, which mainly includes knowledge of neoclassical theory, whose basis is the cardinal and ordinal concept of utility maximization. Subsequently there are introduced the alternative approaches to decision making, focusing on the subjective aspects of human reasoning. Using the mutual synthesis of these approaches, the author draws a term behavioral economics, specific elements of which constitute a substantive content of the whole work. The practical section verifies the hypothesis that the decision-making contradicts the theory of rational individual conduct. Data collected through the questionnaire is subjected to analytical procedures by which the stated hypothesis was verified.

Toughness of Metallic Materials and its Testing
Michalisko, Jan ; Zapletal, Josef (referee) ; Němec, Karel (advisor)
This bachelor work deals with toughness as a mechanical property of metal materials. It defines the toughness and its demonstrations. It describes the transient behaviour of some metals at the static and dynamic load. Furthermore, the work describes the particular testing methods (Charpy‘s, Izod‘s, DWT, DT, DWTT). It covers the historical consequences of toughness testing.

Social Therapy Workshop: The Application of the Quality Standards of Social Service
Svobodová, Ludmila ; Vorlová, Marie (advisor) ; Poláčková, Iva (referee)
The bachelor work "Social therapy workhop - the application of the Quality standards of social service" is focused on a Diaconia of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren activity of the Social therapy workshop in term of the creation of the Quality standards of social services. The main aim of the work is to answer the basic question: How a process of the application of the generally expressed Quality standards of social services into activities of the Social therapy workshop can procceed? The first part of the work is devoted to the chosen Social therapy workshop - its position in a system of social services, and a characterization of this particular service. The second part targets a creation of the Quality standards of social services. The work demonstrates particular cases how the workers deal with the generally formalized Quality standards, what questions they try to answer, and finally how a target group of clients influences their work. In the third part, the consequences of the common work on the Standards of the particular service on a basis of the service workers survey are described , i.e. we can find what the workers think about collective works.

The motivation of blood plasma donors between the ages of 18 to 26 in the Czech Republic in 2016
Vilímková, Helena ; Barák, Vladimír (advisor) ; Krebs, Vojtěch (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the motivation of blood plasma donors between the ages of 18 to 26 in the Czech Republic in 2016. The first part of the work defines and describes the system of blood donation and its components in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the work examines fundamental theoretical concepts concerning blood plasma donation and it also explores private plasmapheresis donation centers. Finally, it inspects the motivation of blood plasma donors. The practical part of the thesis analyses author s empirical research. The collected data showed that the biggest motivation factor is financial compensation, despite the fact that positive feeling about oneself goes hand-in-hand with the financial reward in most of the cases. The rationale behind this practice is student s need to enhance their financial situation as they are yet to have full income.

The Flaying of Marsyas versus The Pieta Rondanini. a Comparison of the Late Works of Titian and Michelangelo
Wanková, Veronika ; Zlatohlávek, Martin (advisor) ; Konečný, Lubomír (referee)
The Anotation The Flaying of Marsyas versus the Pieta Rondanini A comparison of the late works of Titian and Michelangelo This bachelor's thesis deals with Titian's late work "The Flaying of Marsyas", which is held in the collections of the Archbishop's Palace in Kroměříž. This work is compared to another late work, Michelangelo's "Pieta Rondanini", a sculpture housed in Milan. The works are put into context with societal influences on both artists' work, the artists' confrontation with old age, and the issue of melancholy in their late works. Firstly, there is a list of literature that is necessary for understanding and further research of this topic. The list is followed by a summary of actual knowledge about both works. Subsequently the thesis contains a comparison of late works of Titian and Michelangelo where their new approach towards their works is described. Finally, the thesis deals with a relationship and difference between The Flaying of Marsyas and the Pieta Rondanini. The thesis also includes a rich supplement of pictures that should complement previous information as well as mention other works concerning with The Flaying of Marsyas or the Pieta Rondanini. Keywords: Flaying of Marsyas, Pieta Rondanini, Titian, Michelangelo, comparison of late works

The Influence of Vorticity on the Passive Scalar Transport in Oscillatory Flow
Vališová, K. ; Knob, Martin ; Adamec, J.
The work follows the previous knowledge of the influence of flow separation region on the mass transport in lungs. The knowledge is generalized and the work focuses on the influence of vorticity on the passive scalar transport at given flow conditions, i.e. the oscillatory flow.

Algorithm of imaging methods in suspicion on pulmonary tuberculosis
MIKULÁŠOVÁ, Jana
Tuberculosis is an infectious disease which more than 8 million people are taken ill with throughout the world every year. During the last decade more than 30 million people succumbed to it. The Czech Republic succeeds in decreasing the number of TB cases, despite of it the physicians warn how dangerous is still this infectious disease. Basic diagnostic examination in pulmonary TB is an X-ray examination. Radiophotography, so called {\clqq}štítovka`` enacted remarkable part in combating TB. This apparatus was used in past for collective X-ray examination. The disadvantage of this technique is substantionally higher radiation load. In my work I dealt mostly with contemporary possibilities of radiodiagnostics in pulmonary TB examination (with regard to radiophotography). I carried out measurement of entering surface kerma with the help of water phantom in different work places, with different types of machines. In my thesis I compared examination techniques, both from the point of diagnostic yield , and from the point of patients´ radiation load. X-ray diagnostics participates in big rate in medical irradiation, which is the most important part in human irradiation from artificial radiation sources. Implementation of new diagnostic methods (especially computer tomography) resulted in important expansion of diagnostic possibilities . On the other hand, historical equipment still functions, e.g. cabin machines for imaging from the photographic plate. The most important factors affecting radiation load of patients is modern machine equipment, regular running of tests of long-term stableness and working steadiness , as well as protective aids use. In every work place with sources of ionizing radiation a permanent supervision on respecting of radiation protection rules must be ensured.
