Korupce v křesťanském národě: „Ovlivňuje křesťanská víra úroveň korupce ve společnosti?“
Kraus, František ; Houdek, Petr (advisor) ; Svoboda, Miroslav (referee)
What are the determinants of corruption? This thesis builds upon contemporary approaches to assessing the level of corruption in different countries using purely economic determinants such as the aggregate income, level of education, openness to trade or taxation. This method is further enhanced by involving variables mapping the religiosity of the surveyed states as institutional determinants. Faith works as an agent that reduces selfish behavior and stresses moral values, thus it should prove to reduce corruption. The dataset involves data of 30 countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in the years 1999-2010. Two independent OLS models are set up using corruption perception indicators as endogenous variables; one with purely economic determinants, and the other with added religious determinants of corruption. Expansion of the model gives out a more robust set of results with greater determination. The results show that increasing number of Protestants in a society correlates with lower levels of corruption. The effect of the government spending on education has been considerably reduced after involving the religious variables. However, corruption does not seem to be influenced by the percentage of Christians in total population.

The natural seasonal changes in the food choice and digestive tract of wild ruminants
Kamler, Jiří ; Homolka, Miloslav
Herbivore populations all over Europe have been strongly influenced by human activities. A combination of harvest, changes in forest structure, supplementary feeding, predator extirpation and others factors have led in most cases to increases of their populations and a severe impact on the composition and structure of the forest vegetation. The food choice of free living ungulate species is strongly influenced by season and animal species and changes in diet composition and quality cause the changes in the digestive tract. Effective management of ungulate populations and forest ecosystems should be based not only on detailed information about the impact of deer browsing and the number of deer to harvest but also on the density of deer species, the food supply, the structure of diets consumed by individual species, attraction and quality of the individual components of food supply the total quality of food taken and seasonal changes in digestive tract.

Position of Asian developing countries in international trade
Nguyen Thi Minh, Nguyet ; Štěrbová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Kopecký, Jan (referee)
Developing countries, and especially Asian are playing an increasingly larger role in international trade. The aim of this thesis is to examine the current status of Asian developing countries in world trade, to analyse the impact of involvement in international trade on their economy in the period since the eighties to today. The work will focus in detail on three selected countries: China, India and Vietnam. In order to meet the objectives of the work mainly used methods are analysis, comparison and induction. Research has been carried to the conclusion that the share of developing countries in international trade Asia continues steadily to grow, but is influenced by developments in the major economies and the main driving force is still China. Shares of other Asian developing countries on the world market are still relatively small. The fact is that international trade has helped these economies to reach positive developments. The results of this study allow readers to have a deeper look into the issue of Asian developing countries in international trade.

Youth In Cooperatives in Georgia
Šrůtková, Petra ; Mazancová, Jana (advisor) ; Zagata, Lukáš (referee)
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the productivity of agriculture sector started decreasing despite of the agricultural potential of Georgia, and the subsequent civil war caused a lot of people to emigrate. There has been a long-term decreasing trend in the rural population and agricultural production. That is why The European Neighbourhood Programme for Agricultural and Rural Development in Georgia (ENPARD) with the main objectives to increase food production and reduce rural poverty in Georgia through agri-cooperatives, was established and 11 cooperatives was set up in the Imereti by the time of our research. The aim of this research was to analyse the involvement of youth in cooperatives in Imereti region in Georgia and to identify some of the factors related to the agricultural cooperatives and the rural-urban migration. The data for this qualitative research was collected through semi-structured questionnaires with young members of cooperatives (N=11) and semi-structured interviews with members of the Board (N=5) and key informants (N=2) in July 2015. The Likert-scale and the Ranking score method were used for some questions in the questionnaire. We found out that the enterprise of a cooperative could be attractive for youth and women who want to engage in agriculture and it could possibly restrict rural-urban migration. Our respondents who were already members of a cooperative seemed quite satisfied according to their statements in the coops. We also indentified two main factors that had an influence on their staying in rural areas and working in agriculture (family, family farming tradition) and the prime impulse and motivation for joining the cooperative.

The Value of CSR for Czech Consumers
Faradji, Elise ; Štěrbová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Seror, Patricia (referee)
Nowadays consumers purchasing behavior is influenced by new factors such as the social and environmental implication of companies. This is why Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a growing trend which companies need to look after carefully. However implementing an efficient CSR strategy is a complex process for corporations; especially since the core concept of CSR remain quite blurry. The goal of this study is to analyze the perception of consumers towards CSR to find out about the value creation that CSR produce for consumers and its impact on their purchasing behavior. This paper will ultimately help companies to implement their CSR strategy more efficiently. This study aims to contribute by conducting an in-depth analysis of consumers attitudes and behavior towards CSR. If most of researchers are using a quantitative approach this study means to deal with the issue with a qualitative perspective. Indeed twelve semi-structured interviews will support the findings. On top of those practical and physical interviews some theoretical knowledge will be added to the construction of the argument especially to bring a framework that shows the importance of all types of value creation (functional emotional and social). The findings of the thesis emphasize the facts already proven by other researchers; value creation is fundamental to make consumers care about CSR. However the study will show how much skepticism towards CSR can impact negatively consumers purchasing behavior. The research will help companies implementing more successful CSR strategy and develop new solutions to reach customers and influence their purchasing behavior through the creation of value for them.

CNC Programming if the Single Point Incremental Forming
