Forest pedagogy

The aim of this degrese work is to support the importace of environmental education and forest pedagogy for the development of children´s perceptions. The theoretical part aim at processing information about the implementation of environmental education in kindergarten school educational curricula and at introducing the notion ?forest pedagogy? (in the Czech Republic and worldwide), its aim and purpose. Furthermore the findings of forest kindergartens both in the Czech Republic and abroad are treated. The practical activity itself contain the proposal of forest pedagogy conceived activities according to seasons for a kindergarten class and their realization. In the present work there is interpreted their contribution to the development of children´s perception

Comparison of class education programme (on the background of framework education programme) in pre-schools of a regular type and waldorf schools in artisanal activity art field.

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is a comparison of handcraft and art activities educational programs in mainstream nursery schools and Waldorf kindergartens. For this reason, the theoretical part deals with the basic documents of kindergarten, an ideological outlook of Waldorf pedagogy and methodology of artistic activities in the Waldorf kindergarten. The practical part presents the results of qualitative research, done by an analysis of school and classroom training programs, observation of artistic activities as well as interviews with teachers.

Education Technology in Waldorf school´s conditions

The work deals with education technology in the specific environment of Waldorf school with an emphasis on pedagogical traits of this school type. The theoretical part includes the explanation of the term {\clq}qeducational technology``, the brief characteristics of alternative schooling, its rise and development. The main accent is put on the Waldorf pedagogy, its recourses, contents, aims, specifics and history in the Czech Republic and Waldorf education worldwide. The practical part includes records from inspections of Waldorf classes and then a comparison of theory and praxis. Then this work compares a social climate of the Waldorf class and the class with a classical way of education by questionnaires to find out objective positives of Waldorf education.

Paulo Freire and his Influence on the Development of Educational Thought

The thesis deals with the work of Brazilian educator Paulo Freire, who became particulary popular with informal eduacation with his emphasis on dialogue and his concern for the oppressed. The first part introduces Paulo Freire's personal and professional life and the contemporary context that influenced his educational views. The second part describes Freire's innovative literacy method he developed in his native country Brazil, where he was confronted with mass illiteracy. Next it describes the key ideas of his seminal book Pedagogy of the Oppressed, which is currently one of the most quoted texts in the field of education especially in Latin America, Africa and Asia. The third part deals with Freire's own theory of education based on the critique of traditional education. He uses the term ?banking education? for traditional concept of education. On basis of his criticism of banking education he proposes his own concept of education. He calls it ?problem-posing education?. The conclusion outlines some of the critical responses, especially the issue of imposition of knowledge.

Visual art Motivation through Visual art Techniques in Pedagogy of Leisure Time

The diploma paper consists of two parts {--} theoretical and practical. There are explained notions related to visual art motivation in the theoretical part like creativity, imagination and fantasy, explanation of chosen visual art techniques, definition of younger pupil age, explication of pedagogy of leisure time and pedagogue of leisure. The practical part consists of visual art project which is composed of visual art activities. The visual art project is realized at the school nursery with pupils of the first and the second classes. Each part of the project contains various motivational elements. There is an obvious interconnection among particular subjects {--} fine art, physical education and music.

Forms and Methods of Work with Youths in Children and Youth Club Houses and Open Leisure Time Clubs

This bachelor thesis describes ways and methods of work with children and young people in community centers. Theoretical part states the expression of ?Leisure Time? and historical development of the way people have spent their free time, based on literature. It deals with the problem of bringing up young people in their free time and also with the field of Leisure Time Pedagogy. The thesis includes a list of institutions offering meaningful activities to children and young people within the Czech Republic. Practical part describes in closer detail the work of three institutions where the information for the practical part of the thesis was gained from. The conclusion lists methods and ways of work in these institutions and an evaluation and a review of qualifications of their staff in terms of pedagogy and didactics.

Alternative access education and Montessori pedagogy

The thesis deals with alternative education, especially Montessori pedagogy, its educational and training principles and characteristics of preschool education. In the main part of the thesis there is compared the Montessori kindergarten to the normal kindergarten.

The Museum Phenomenon and Museum Education in the Environment of the Museum of South Bohemia

The thesis focuses on forms of education in the environment of the Museum of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice. Its first part defines the term Museum Phenomenon and introduces the history of museology and the history of various activities of the Town Museum in Ceske Budejovice. It also attempts to chart the very first educational activities of the Museum of Ceske Budejovice and furthermore it introduces its contemporary educational programs. Second part explains the terms Museum Education, Museum Animation and Leisure-time Pedagogy. It also elucidates the different means of museum education. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate the pedagogical activities of the Museum of South Bohemia in relation to educational evaluation of leisure time activities. A significant part is dedicated to measuring the fulfillment of the internationally respected definition of ICOM by UNESCO through the means of museum pedagogy. This is also the main subject of the final part of the thesis, which should reflect the importance of museum education in relation to the world cultural heritage. A separate part is dedicated to illustrating a specific educational activity of the Museum of South Bohemia. The appendices present samples of both old and new exhibition worksheets.

Chain tour guiding in Vrchotovy Janovice chateau

The thesis is about a project for teenagers, called "Chain tour guiding". The project has been held in Vrchotovy Janovice every year since 1994. One of the typical features of this project is a role swap, the principle of which is a group of students becoming the tour guides in the chateau after a short but very intensive training session. The thesis describes in details the method of "Chain tour guiding", its origin, historical background, development and pedagogical segments. It establishes its structure as a project, forms the goals, methods of realising the project, concomitant materials and rating. The author (of the thesis) gains the information from methods of historical pedagogical research, draws the information from specialised literature, provides the documentation analyses and carries out the interviews with the authors of the original project. The first two chapters describe the elements which include experiential pedagogy, object learning, communal learning and revival history. There is an independent chapter dedicated to the Vrchotovy Janovice chateau and the surrounding park. The last part of the thesis defines the definition of "Chain touring" as a project.
