Robustní optimální víceúrovňové předpodmiňovače pro nekonformní konečněprvkové systémy
Blaheta, Radim ; Margenov, S. ; Neytcheva, M.
We study strategies to construct hierarchical basis function (HB) multilevel preconditioners for the algebraic systems arising from second order elliptic problems, discretized by the nonconforming Crouzeix-Raviart linear finite elements. To this end we follow the know framework for constructing HB preconditioners for conforming finite element methods (FEM).

O jednom přibližném řešení marginálního problému
Janžura, Martin
With the aid of the Maximum Entropy principle, a solution to the marginal problem is obtained in a form of parametric exponential (Gibbs-Markov) distribution. The unknown parameters can be calculated by an optimization procedure that agrees with the maximum likelihood estimate but it is numerically hardly feasible for highly dimensional systems. A numerically easily feasible solution can be obtained by the algebraic Möbius formula. The formula, unfortunately, involves terms that are not directly available but can be approximated. And the main aim of the present paper consists in this approximation.

Worst-case GMRES pro normální matice
Liesen, J. ; Tichý, Petr
We study the convergence of GMRES for linear algebraic systems with normal matrices. In particular, we explore the standard bound based on a min-max approximation problem on the discrete set of the matrix eigenvalues.

Graphical Tool for Creation and Modification of Graphs
Hynšt, Miroslav ; Navrátil, Jan (referee) ; Zuzaňák, Jiří (advisor)
This paper deals with basics of the graph theory and graph rewriting. In the first part there is described a graph, graph rewriting systems, graph grammar and algebraic approach to the graph rewriting. In the second part of this paper there is analyzed an implementation of the designed aplication for creation, modification and saving graphs and graph rewrite systems.
