Influence of social politics on fertility rate in specific regions of Czech republic
Dvořák, Josef ; Melzochová, Jitka (advisor) ; Babin, Jan (referee)
Thesis is focused on relationship between fertility rate and tools of state support. The goal is to reveal relationship between these two factors. Partial goal is to discover specific effects of tools of state support in specific regions of Czech republic. I have aimed on research at national level and also specific regions between years 1993-2014. In order to find these relationships I used method that compares differences in development of the fertility rate. After that, I set up regression model solved by method called fixed effects. For specific regions analysis was used OLS method. Model was able to explain more than 80 % of variability. This results can be used for predicting of citizens behavior, when some changes in family allowances occurs. Main finding is, that most motivating tools are parenting allowances and child benefits.

Empirical analysis of Okun’s law in Iceland
Zajíček, Zdeněk ; Slaný, Martin (advisor) ; Chytilová, Helena (referee)
This thesis deals with empirical analysis of Okuns law in Iceland. Okuns hypothesis of negative relationship between real GDP and the rate of unemployment is being tested on two models, difference and gap, using OLS estimation. Also there are two filtration methods used (Hodrick-Prescott and Baxter-King) for gap model estimation. The results of all models showed weak relationship of variables, but proved the hypothesis. In the following part, the same procedure is being used on Finlands data, to get comparison of coefficients. Results for Finland showed weaker bond of variables than in Iceland, but the Okuns hypothesis still holds. Last part is focused on finding the sensitivity of rate of unemployment to changes in added value of each economical sector in Iceland using the production approach model. This model gave inconclusive results due to insufficient data available.

Některé prostorové aspekty rituálního chování na počátku doby bronzové
Kruťová, Magdalena ; Turek, J.
In the paper is examined continuity and change in the spatial relationships of cemeteries and other activity areas at the beginning of Bronze Age in Bohemia and Moravia. In comparison to the Bell Beaker period, the burial rites of the early Bronze Age generally became less orthodox and more variable. In spite of certain specifics in the early Bronze Age ritual behaviour, we can suppose that the structure of the symbolic systems of Únětice burial practices was a result of a continuous development within the late Eneolithic cultural sequence and was evidence of progressive social differentiation in the Central European Bronze Age.

Emotion in music
Mlejnek, Roman ; Heller, Daniel (referee) ; Franěk, Marek (advisor)
Relationship between music and emotion has recently become one of the major subjects of music psychology. In this paper, an overview of the most important topics in the field is given. Our own empirical findings are presented also. First, the historical and uptodate multidisciplinary perspectives are discussed. The concept of musical emotion is explained with regard to general concepts of emotion and usual musicrelated discourse. Considerable part of the study deals with different kinds of sources of emotion in music. Also, strong emotional responses to music (including the phenomenon of chills) and biological perspectives on music and emotion are mentioned and two complex models of emotional response to music are shortly described. Our own results of an investigation using an adapted questionaire conserning chills and other physical reactions show the importance of research in the field of strong emotional and physical responses to music. A supplementary methodological probe of measuring electrodermal activity during listening to music is presented.

Calculation of the distribution of the temperature field in the induction machine
Formánek, Jakub ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
The issue of this bachelor‘s thesis is concerning about creating of 3D model of an real electric machine in software called Autodesk Inventor and ints following implementation to software called ANSYS Workbench which is used for simulation of thermal analysis by using finite element method. Results of each analysys will be compared with laboratory measuring on assigned asynchronous machine

The Post - Lehman Brothers development of wages
Krutina, Michael ; Chytilová, Helena (advisor) ; Janíčko, Martin (referee)
I have targeted to analyze the patterns of wage development in the changing macroeconomic conditions. According to the expectations the evolution of nominal and real wages is inter alia positively affected by the changes in labor productivity and negatively influenced by the deviation of unemployment rate from NAIRU. The evidence of procyclical behavior of real wages is not very robust as there was not found significant correlation in the time of decreasing real GDP. The most of results of the models applied on post Lehman Brothers period are consistent with the regressions based on complete data set. The chosen data proved to be not very suitable to show the extent of wage rigidity. The significant negative relationship between the development of real wages and changes in inflation rate implies the visibility of symptoms of wage rigidities even when we work with average macroeconomic variables.

Physical Appearance, Health and Fitness in Adult Population
Elhenický, Patrik ; Fialová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Potměšil, Jaroslav (referee)
The Title of the Thesis: Physical Appearance, Health and Fitness in Adult Population Aim: The aim is to process the data collected and present the results obtained in the adult population as refers to their body-concept and self-acceptance, in both, the physical and psychical areas. These above issues related both, to the population of men and women were compared, as well as differences found between people living in towns and rural regions. Methods: The data were collected through public inquiry using an instrument based on a standardized questionnaire, originally validated in the international research to sport, health and self-concept in Central and Eastern European countries (Mrázek, Fialová, Bychovskaja, 1995). The questionnaire included sections referring to personal data, health condition, physical and body-related activities, subjective body description, self-acceptance and selfconcept. The questionnaire included 129 items, where only those items referring to the selected topic were analyzed in the thesis. Results: The results indicate certain changes in evaluating the physical appearance, bodyconcept and self-concept in both, men and women. The results imply there is a difference in self-esteem perceived by men and women when evaluating their appearance, and, also, the body-concept and...

Calculation of electron structure in the framework of DTF in real space
Čertík, Ondřej ; Vackář, Jiří (advisor) ; Šipr, Ondřej (referee)
In the present work we study ab-initio electronic structure calculations in real space using density functional theory (DFT), finite elements and pseudopotentials. We summarize the theory and full ab-initio derivation of all equations in finite elements, density functional theory and pseudopotentials, then we explain how our program works and we show results for spherically symmetric potentials in relativistic and nonrelativistic DFT and for 2D and 3D Schrödinger equation for symmetric and non-symmetric potentials.
