Analysis of the professional requirements of employers for graduates

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the professional requirements of employers across all industries for graduates. Based on the gathered knowledge then submit proposals for the Faculty of Economics of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, which are useful for adapting of faculty's syllabus. It should help its graduates to meet the most of the requirements of employers and thus to become the most competitive in the labor market.

Ethics in relation to social protection of children

This Bachelor's thesis deals with activities of the the Office for Social Protection of Children with emphasis on ethical aspects and support given to the OSPOD workers by employers. The paper analyses whether the level of support is sufficient, how it impacts on the efficacy of the OSPOD workers and who provides the funding. The theoretical part focuses on analysis of the ethical codes of the OSPOD workers and on activities of this institution. The practical part analyses in detail two selected bodies of the OSPOD, particularly from the perspective of the support provided by employers in dealing with ethical issues and looks at complaints dealt with by the Ombudsman with emphasis on the ethical aspects of the complaints. Based on the analyses of the selected OSPOD bodies, it can be concluded that the support in dealing with ethical issues provided by employers is sufficient, it has a positive impact on the outcome of the OSPOD activities and it is funded from subsidies for social and legal protection of children.

Payroll accounting in Kazakhstan

Bachelor thesis acquaints the Czech readers with the accounting system in Republic of Kazakhstan which gained independence on December 16, 1991 and is still at the stage of reform and improvement. The aim is to assess the payroll issues of accounting and tax purposes. Work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part presents insights from the Labour Code and the law "On Accounting and Financial Reporting", which forms the basis for elaboration of the practical part. The practical part introduces analytically discussed various methods of calculations and accounting of payroll, comparing gross and net wages of the employee, and the impact of tax on the employer and employee determined on an example of a particular enterprise. The conclusion evaluates the status of the payroll department of the analyzed company where the basic knowledge needed in terms of wages is summarized, the main problems with the payroll system are identified and possible solutions are given.

Employee care in a small organization

This bachelor thesis deals with an analysis and evaluation of employee care in a small organization. In the theoretical part, this issue is described and divided into several categories which are necessary for an application of the analysis in a real company. In the practical part, the author conducted a personal investigation of the actual employee care conditions in the organization. In addition, a questionnaire, reflecting satisfaction and loyalty to the company, was handed to the employees. Not only is the aim of the bachelor thesis to evaluate a current status of employee care in a small organization but also to suggest possibilities of how to improve working environment and treatment of employees, if needed.

Lifelong Education as a Part of the Social System

The diploma thesis discusses about education of adult population, while pointing out necessity of education in any age. This thesis explain importance of education of the adult population, mention forms and possible methods which are used in this type of education the most. Besides the theoretical outcome there is practical aspect included as well in form of questionnaires. Investigation in form of research was focused directly on employees, who as well as on employers whose employees attended the program. In summary both parties consider adulthood gained knowledge as a great benefit to employee as well as employer. In any case, people with higher level of education have better chances of getting a possible job than those with no or low level of education.

Enhancing qualification of employees and their motivation to improve working activities in business

The name of this Bachelor´s Thesis is Enhancing qualification of employees and their motivation to augment the effect of work results in business. Its theoretical part defines terms such as human resources, education in business, qualification, competence and motivation all of which were processes along with usage of professional literature. The content of practical part concerns both the innate questionaire for which the emploees of Czech Business Bank were addressed and the concise introduction of Czech Business Bank. Result analyses evaluate questionaires and show not only the degree of employees´ satisfaction with the educational system, but also the motivation of the employer. The final part of the Thesis is focused on recommendation how to improve the contemporary situation.

Provisions of Czech republic to reduction of incidence fo crisis on Czech republic

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to analyse anti-crisis provisions of National economic council of government (NERV). I confront the provisions with reality and try to find out, if the provisions are effective or not for now. Proposed provisions, which I devote in the thesis are concerned in changes in payment of insurance of employee and tax liability of firms. The thesis is devided into three main parts. In the first part I shortly devote to causes of financial and economic crisis and consequent establishment of government advisory authority -- NERV. Main topic in this part is change in payment of insurance of employee. To find out of effect of these provisions I use correlation analysis. In the second part I am engaged in change of tax rate of corporation tax. I use theories of economists of supply side (Arthur Laffer). The biggest attention I pay to Laffer curve, which I demonstrate for Czech republic. Final third part of thesis represents effect thereinbefore mentioned provisions on employment in CR, which I then compare with employment in EU.

Unemployment and possibilities of its solution

The aim of the bachelor thesis is an issue of unemployment and possibilities of its solution. Theoretical part of the thesis characterizes a term of unemployment, describes its kinds and also possible cause of its origin from employer's and job applicant's side. It simultaneously deals with influence of wage's amount on unemployment's origin and time duration. Unemployment's size is evaluated by indicators of unemployment. In a part dedicated to the labour market in the Czech Republic is described active and passive employment politics supported by state authorities as well as by private entities. An analysis of unemployment's development in the Czech Republic as a whole in classification on districts and partial regions is made in practical part. Within the districts is more in detail analysed Southbohemian region with orientation on Tábor with using of observed unemployment's elements - unemployment's size, structure of job applicants from age viewpoint, sex and achieved education. Concrete examples of using of active and passive employment politics are mentioned in possibilities of unemployment's solutions. Research result of this issue is an evaluation of unemployment's development including influencing factors, efficiencies of employment politics and recommendations for job applicants to increase their labour market's use.

Working hours

Working hours and terms related to it are permanently a topical subject, because in lifetime it affects everyone. Arrangement of working hours determines specific time periods for the employer and employee where is a performance of the work carried out on the basis of the employment relationship which they have arranged. Both sides of the contractual relationship are interested in satisfying their specific needs. The aim of this thesis is to interpret a legal regulation of working hours and institutes related to it and also make its application in practice.

Notice of termination of employment by an employer

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to provide readers with a complex view of legal regulation for the notice of termination of employment by an employer, which is governed by the Labour Code. I tried to explain possible ways how the employer would terminate the employment by a notice. An employer shall apply only the reasons for termination listed in the Labour Code. The work is divided into three main parts. The first chapter describes the particular reasons for termination. I highlight the problematic situations which arise from practice; distinguish the reasons for termination, which are often used interchangeably. In the second chapter, I apply the legal regulations to the specific legal cases that were decided by the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic. In the third chapter, I give an overview of the infringement of obligations by the employers for the years 2009, 2013 and 2014 and the penalties which were awarded.
