Natural sources of apian pasture and biocide agents
SEDLÁKOVÁ, Lucie
In this bachelor´s work I am trying to emphasize importance of bee´s grazing. A bee is an inseparable and indispensable part of countryside. In the first part there is an outline of economical and ecological significance of "Apis mellifera". Further I deal with description and introduction of pollen and its importance in nutrition of bees, pollen wimples, honey-giving plants, nectar and nectar-giving plants and also honeydew and its producers. Then I write about indicators of quality of bee´s grazing. In the next chapters there is description of sources of bee´s grazing during all the year according to phenological calendary. The second part is dedicated to poisoning of bees and how it is possible to protect bees.

Results: The highest antimycotic activity was discovered in group of salicylanilide carbamates. There were tested 28 derivates of this group, from which 18 of them showed antimycotic activity. On the other hand, substances from group of derivates of isoniazide showed no antimycotic activity. The most susceptible strain was Trichophyton mentagrophytes and the most resistant was strain Aspergillus fumigatus. Conclusions: To...

Mass extemporaneous decontamination of people in concrete stationary object.
LEVÝ, Leoš
This thesis consists of three main parts. In the first part, the general procedures and principles of decontamination, the decontamination substances and mixtures, as well as the technique that is used for decontamination, have been described. Next, the description of the decontamination of the first responders, as this part of the decontamination process has been given; it has been elaborated and checked in practice. In the second part, there is the drafted plan of the mass extemporaneous decontamination of people in the selected public facility, according to the general methods of decontamination. Next, there is the drafted documentation for resolving an extraordinary event: an accident with subsequent leakage of a dangerous chemical substance, resulting in the need to carry out the mass decontamination of people in selected public facilities. In the last part, I have discussed and compared the advantages and possible disadvantages of the selected object of for the implementation of mass decontamination of people. There is also a suggested way of how to carry out this decontamination in this object in the most efficient way. The processing of this documentation has clearly confirmed my hypothesis. The mass decontamination of people in the selected location, in this case specifically in the Domazlice Hostel and Swimming Pool, can be feasibly performed with an improvised method. After giving the specific supplemented data (the names of the personnel, the telephone numbers, places of storage material etc.), the suggested documentation is usable for the object in practice. The documentation can be also easily adapted to other similar public facilities.

Solubilisation systems for potential photodynamic compounds III.
Grandová, Milada ; Kopecký, Kamil (referee) ; Miletín, Miroslav (advisor)
This graduation thesis is engaged in searching for solubilisation systems for potentially photodynamically active substances. The effort was focused on fading of systems with the smallest particles, transparent or modestly opalescent with the acceptable cytoxicity. Three systems satisfying the requirements for transparency (and so the particle size) were found but only two systems were used further for the solubilization of the photosenzitizers, the third one did not conform to the cytotoxicity tests. Another aim was to find, whether the photosensitizers, while solubilized using the selected systems, will not precipitate and will not be aggregated and therefore they would be usable in cell culture tests. Both the systems complying with the cytotoxicity tests proved to be usable. Photosenzitizers emulsified in them did not embody the aggregation or precipitation of the system. Finally measurements of the particles size of the systems with emulsified photosenzitizers were performed.

The nutritional importance of polyphenols in berries
MARTANOVÁ, Anna
People's nutrition is inseparable part of our lives. We could include substances, that we know are healtful, to our food. If we don't have enough of the substances, we can see negative effects on human organism. The substances are named micronutrients and vitamins. We could enrich a diet with substances that we think are healthy, but their deficit doesn't case pathological symptoms. Food which we put to this category is possible to name as function food. Function food contains substances which have positive effect on our health. One of the substances are polyphenols. This issue is very interesting for me, because polyphenols are compounds that are among others particulary found in berries, especially in blueberries. Blueberries are berries that are widespread throughout the world. One of the best sources of blueberries is also Sumava, where I come from and where blueberries are well connected. The first part of my thesis is about the functional foods and ingredients that make these foods Functional foods. Ordering: probiotics, prebiotics, synobiotiks, micronutrients, fytochemiks and polyphenols. Farther the first part deals with berries, specializing in blueberry and its properties and composition, which can have a positive impact on human health. In the second part there were two objectives of the work. The first aim of my study was to determine the diet, which includes foods that contain the optimum intake of polyphenols, equivalent to 120 ml of fetal native blueberries. Polyphenols are that part of blueberries, which make them so special. In the diet were preferentially embedded short dishes that have undergone heat treatment. Analyses of polyphenols in foods and beverages I got with the program GEOMED hospital Ceske Budejovice, Inc., Department of Clinical Pharmacology. Results polyphenol content were performed by HPLC. The content of polyphenols in native blueberries was laid as equal to 1 and the contents examined further product was then expressed as a multiple or ratio of the native blueberries. I take into account all these factors when drawing up the model menu. Another aim I have set is to map products in which the content of polyphenol is beneficial. There is a high number of products with blueberry flavour on the market. The content of blueberries, however, is often negligible. The surprising result was the polyphenol content in lemonade Toma, whose relative value ug / ml is 2.59 when compared with the native blueberry, which is placed as equal to 1. After the development work, in which I obtained information from the literature search, the sales network and the Department of Clinical Pharmacology, Hospital Ceske Budejovice, I would like to say that blueberries are an important source of polyphenols and that a diet which will include daily equivalent of receiving polyphenols, may not in any way differ from a regular rational diet. Not even cooking the dish precludes putting together this diet because blueberries are relatively stable against temperature changes. Inclusion of such a diet in the catering equipment could bring a positive impact in the future, especially for older people by improving memory function and balance.

Optimization of Presentation with Regard to Maintaining the Auditors Attention and Enhancing the Ability to Keep the Presented Content in Mind
Hrkal, Marek ; Pauknerová, Daniela (advisor) ; Kočí, Ondřej (referee)
Presentation became an important communication phenomenon of today. However, its quick onset caused that presenting has been considered as an ability without theoretical fundamentals. This diploma thesis makes an effort to convince the readers about the opposite by connecting practical presentation procedures with theoretical knowledge based on literature concerned with psychology and social communication. The emphasis is put especially on application of the theory of perception, attention and memory. In the application part of this theses all stages of preparing and delivering a presentation are analyzed step by step. Belonging to the empirical part, an evaluation of presenters was carried out. For this very purpose an evaluation sheet was created as a formalized methodical tool. This thesis is usable by any communicator who wants to understand the theoretical phenomena on which presentation is based.

Urine, its composition and the effect of age on the metabolic picture
MENHART, Roman
This work is aimed at monitoring the impact of age on the composition of urine. The correlation of age with the composition of urine was examined by focused research four selected analytes - creatinine, acetylcarnitine, carnitine and alanine in anonymous groups of people aged 15, 25, 35, 45 and 55 years. In the theoretical part the anatomy and function of the kidneys are generally described. The definiton of urine and organic and inorganic substances contained ion are defined. Described are factors that contribute to changes in urine composition such as body mass index, skin color and especially age, which is the main subject of this research. The methods used for analyzing urine in clinical practice but also in research are also stated. Procedures for collection, preservation and preanalytical preparation of urine are included in methodological section. The list of all chemicals, equipment, internal standards, standards, instrumentation used for the preparation and analysis of samples and HPLC/MS methodology are described. The output data from LC/MS method used were processed in a computer program XcaliburTM. There are the chromatograms and mass spectra of creatinine, acetylcarnitine, carnitine and alanine obtained by analyzing the 50 urine samples (in triplicate) of people of different ages. By using the clear graphs and tables peak areas for the individual substances were standardized by creatinine amount. Studied urine issues are very complex and can not be encompassed completely in the context of my thesis.

Verification of the Educational Programme for Swimming Instructors Working with the Disabled
Kučerová, Miloslava ; Fialová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Čechovská, Irena (referee)
Verification of the Educational Programme for Swimming Instructors Working with the Disabled The aim of my work is to verify the quality of the didactic method used in the training program, which has participants at the elementary level to prepare for the role swimming instructor for the handicapped. This is a specific area richly entwined interesting, sometimes seemingly disparate fields such as sport and disability, rehabilitation and enjoyable experiences help not in the sense of "charity" but rather as an accompaniment to search their maximum possibilities and boundaries with a final, unexpected profit to both sides. In this research, we want to verify that the selected didactic approach and content can interconnect areas mentioned in a meaningful whole. Whether the training conforms to the participants as an educational program where there is a predetermined learning knowledge and skills. Whether met their expectations and that they are taught content usable in practice. There is also the possibility of longer-term profit not only from the knowledge gained, but a kind of enrichment inside man through principles that are in a training program instructor communicated and that appears. I wondered also how the participants perceive teachers as speech and access to participants and trainer přednášenému...

The verification of accredited analytical method for the determination of second-generation triglycerides using the biochemical analyzer Advia 1800
JANDOVÁ, Helena
Triglycerides belong to a large group of lipids. They are biologically very important substances for the human body. Chemically they are glycerols which are bound by ester bonds to fatty acids. Triglycerides are feeding, and that our organism has spend triglycerides must be broken down into glycerol and fatty acids, and then they are absorbed and transported to tissues. Determination of triglycerides in serum, respectively plasma, is particularly important for the prevention of atherosclerosis which is the leading cause of cardiovascular diseases, but also to diagnose and prevent such diseases as obesity or diabetes mellitus. To introduce method for the determination of the second-generation triglycerides via the biochemical analyzers Advia 1800 to be used in the ward of clinical biochemistry of Central Laboratories of Hospital Strakonice, a. s. there was need to carry out a verification of the method. This verification is subject ot the requiremets of ČSN EN ISO 15189 Medical laboratories Special requirements for quality and eligibility, according to which the Central Laboratory of Strakonice Hospital, a s. is accredited. It is further governed by the procedures for the validation/verfication methods, SOPO-C-06, drawn up by our laboratory. The results of the verification/validation are used for the evaluation of measurement uncertainties and to establish continuity and comparability of measurement results. On the basis of document mentioned above, the measurement of triglycerides in serum was conducted in two biochemical analyzers Advia 1800. These measurement led to the evaluation of the precision under repeatability conditions, precisions under conditions of reproductibility and accuracy. Precision under repetability condition was measured at twenty patients' samples in two concentration ranges. For evaluation of precisions under reproducibility conditions we used control materials validated in the EHK processes, exactly Liquid Assayed Multiqual 1 Lot 45651, the second check was with the help of Liquid Assayed Multiqual 2 Lot 45662 from the manufacturer BIO-RAD. These reference materials were measured every day in a singlet for twenty days. From the measured values the basic statistical parameters and analytical coefficient of variation were calculated. To evaluate the truthfulness they were also measured with the help of control materials from the manufacturer SEKK, s. r. o. Based on these measurements the basic characteristics were again calculated together with bias and total laboratory analytical error. Comparison of this error with a maximum mistake reccommended by the company SEKK, s. r. o. led to the evaluation of the method for the present purposes.
