Dust Observation in the COMPASS Tokamak Using Fast Camera
Odstrčil, M. ; Mlynář, Jan ; Weinzettl, Vladimír ; Háček, Pavel ; Berta, M. ; Szabolics, T. ; Bencze, A.
The dust grains were observed over a thousand discharges in the tokamak COMPASS. A novel method for semi-automatic extraction and tracking of dust grains using a relatively low frame-rate camera (370 fps) was proposed. Radiation lifetime, time evolution and the acceleration of the dust grains were studied. The measured dust velocities roughly correspond to a simple model. However, slow dust particles are signicantly aected by local plasma properties and initial release conditions that cannot be determined in our experiment

Electronics for reducing the sideband noise of a laser diode by utilizing an unbalanced fiber interferometer
Čížek, Martin ; Šmíd, Radek ; Číp, Ondřej
Measuring length changes of optical resonators requires using of lasers with a narrow spectral width. Moreover, for tracking a whole range of possible lengths a widely-tunable laser is required. Laser sources based on DFB laser diodes have a wide optical frequency tuning range, however their spectral linewidth is up to single MHz. The usual way of narrowing the linewidth is based on stabilizing the wavelength of the laser by locking it on an etalon resonator cavity using for example a PDH setup. This of course leads to losing the tunability. We present a different approach where an unbalanced fiber Michelson interferometer with a measuring arm formed of a long optical fiber spool is used as a an optical frequency discriminator. The output electrical signal from the photodetector proportional to the optical frequency changes is used in a fast servo loop. The controller slightly detunes the laser diode by adjusting its pump current and locks optical frequency changes to a zero value. This leads to reducing the sideband noise of the laser by up to 60 dB. The whole method is independent on the actual wavelength of the laser and works in the whole tuning range of the DFB diode.

Affiliate marketing with using optimized solution for conversion tracking
Černochová, Petra ; Koubský, Petr (advisor) ; Pávek, Jan (referee)
This thesis focuses on inclusion of affiliate marketing to internet marketing as a contemporary modern tool for acquiring new customers in the online market and on analysis of the system solution for conversion tracking at eHUB.cz Ltd. The thesis is divided into three parts: the first part presents the general overview of affiliate marketing, the second section analyzes the current state of the conversion tracking system at eHUB.cz Ltd. and the third proposes an optimal solution for the future status of this system. Theoretical level corresponds to the first part and a practical second and third. The theoretical part clarifies the position of affiliate marketing within online marketing, including basic knowledge and relationships that are necessary for proceeding to the practical part. The practical part contains a description of the original and current technical solutions of system eHUB. At the same time suggests its optimization for a future state. The main objective is to find a precise definition of the current standards of conversion tracking system solutions in eHUB.cz Ltd. The main contribution of this work is the usability of the optimal technical solution at eHUB.cz Ltd.

This volume is the second part of the two-volume proceedings of the 14th conference Information Technologies – Applications and Theory (ITAT 2014), which was held in Jasná, Demänovská Dolina, Slovakia, on September 25–29, 2014. ITAT is a computer science conference with the primary goal of exchanging information on recent research results. Overall, 51 papers were submitted to all conference tracks. This volume presents papers from the workshops and an extended abstract of a poster. Three specialized workshops were held as a part of the conference: Data Mining and Preference Learning on Web, Computational Intelligence and Data Mining, and Algorithmic Aspects of Complex Networks Analysis.

ITAT 2014. Information Technologies - Applications and Theory. Part I. Prague : Institute of Computer Science AS CR, 2014. 101 p. ISBN 978-80-87136-18-8. This volume is the first part of the two-volume proceedings of the 14th conference Information Technologies – Applications and Theory (ITAT 2014). The conference was held in Jasná, Demänovská Dolina, Slovakia, on September 25–29, 2014. ITAT is a computer science conference with the primary goal of exchanging information on recent research results between Czech and Slovak scientific communities, and it presents a platform for young researchers and PhD students to start new collaborations. This year, it was held in parallel with two collocated conferences Datakon and Znalosti with which it shared some invited plenary talks and a poster session. Overall, 51 papers were submitted to all conference tracks. This volume presents 16 papers of the main track, which were selected by the program committee based on at least two reviews by the program committee members. Papers from the three workshops and extended abstracts of posters are included in the second volume.

Fast-track proceedings of administrative infractions (the development and recent legal regulation)
Herudková, Jana ; Kopecký, Martin (referee) ; Prášková, Helena (advisor)
MISDEMEANOUR PROCEDURE (DEVELOPMENT AND CURRENT REGULATION) Misdemeanour procedure is a highly frequent kind of administrative activity which intervenes in legal relations of expressly determined physical entities. The object of this procedure is to decide the issue of guilt and possible penalty for committed deed, in which the misdemeanour is found as a kind of administrative offence. Misdemeanour procedure is envisaged as a part of discharge of public administration bound for rectification of obligors' behaviour and protection of public interest. This institute, being common in administrative practice, affects a considerable number of individuals. In accordance with the legal order, a great amount of administrative bodies is entitled to solve and sanction misdemeanours within the framework of various fields of human activities. Misdemeanour procedure is designed as a specific sort of administrative proceedings built-up on the subsidiarity principle of the Act No. 500/2004 Sb. (Code of Administrative Procedure), which constitutes general rules about administrative proceedings. Devitations from the general provisions for administrative proceedings reasoned by the specificity of the object of the procedure are arranged in the Act No. 200/1990 Sb. (Misdemeanours Act) and in some other special acts....
