Sustainable tourism development of Vysocina Region

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of sustainable tourism development at the regional level. This phenomenon is elaborated on the example of Vysocina Region. To evaluate sustainability of its development, the potential of this touristic destination is researched regarding various areas, including key products. These are subjected to comparisons with recommendations of significant tourism organization for the purpose of assessing the sustainability of tourism. The diploma thesis also includes a comparison with other Czech regions experience as a touristic destination. Vysocina Region has favourable initial conditions for its sustainable development, especially regarding supply of key products, which include both environmentally friendly goods and cultural attractiveness contributing to the personal development of individuals and promoting intercultural tolerance. The main issue appears to be the spatial imbalance of its development in the region, caused mainly by the concentration of tourist activities to certain areas and low local initiative in the less attractive areas. The diploma thesis proposes a number of solutions, such as utilization of geocaching and products of gastroturism, supporting the foundation of local destination management organisations, promoting cycling tourism and the foundation of highly visited tourist destinations.

Design of methodology of administration and management of issues and its application in chosen organisation

This thesis is focused on design methodology of administration and management of issues, using issue-tracking system. The objective is to create such methodology and deploy it to specific organization. During methodology creation, there were used best practices, acquired from source thesis and authors experiences. In theoretical part of thesis are described approaches, witch is this thesis based on. Then thesis describes what issue-tracking system is and lists mostly used issue-tracking systems. In practical part, the methodology itself is created. At first, target group is described. Then, types of issuse and roles used in issue-tracking system are described. Then is described, how to create lifecycle of issue and how to handle with its attributes. Last part is focused on data reporting from issue-tracking system. Last chapter of practical part describes how to implement methodology to issue-tracking system JIRA.

CRM System Optimization

This thesis is focused on CRM solutions in small and medium-sized organizations with respect to the quality of their customer relationship. The main goal of this work is to design an optimal CRM solution in the environment of real organization. To achieve this goal it is necessary to understand the theoretical basis of several topics, such as organizations and their relationship with customers, CRM systems, their features and trends. On the basis of these theoretical topics it is possible to analyze current CRM solution in the organization. From the data obtained by the methods of observation and controlled interview it was possible to prepare a design for optimal CRM solution. This optimal solution comes also from user and organization requirements. The optimal CRM solution saves time and costs associated with current CRM solution and replaces existing and ineffective CRM tools.

Improving labour productivity: How to determine standard time for performing specific tasks in the selected organization

This bachelor thesis focuses on the standard time needed for specific tasks in the selected organization, as well as on the appropriate methods for its determination. The findings serve as a basis for the formulation of measures which should be taken to improve labour productivity. The methods include the standardization of tasks, time study and computer-based data analysis (Microsoft Excel spreadsheets). The theoretical part of the paper discusses the nature of job production, the methods appropriate for the calculation of standard production time and the ways to ensure efficient work and time management in the given factory. Apart from these, a complete description (history, facility layout, pre-production and production stages, machines and materials) of the selected organization is provided to serve as a background for the case study presented in the practical part. This includes the list of production tasks, production time tables and time standards along with materials necessary to facilitate production. The aim of the thesis is to help the organization improve its labour productivity and provide it with the algorithm which can be used to determine production time for similar orders.

Communication in chosen organization

The aim of this thesis is the evaluation of the level of communication and the proposing of some changes that can result to the improvement of communicational processes.General communication process and its function in the organization is thoroughly described in the theoretical part of this thesis by means of literary resources.The practical part of the thesis focuses on the particular communication process in the firm named ABL Tools in Písek.The analysis is based on basic methods, such as: interrogation, observation and interviewing. Conclusions of the analysis and results will be provided to the manager of ABL Tools. These suggestions could be useful as a guideline to improve a current level of communication processes in the organization.

The rewiew of literature introduces the teoretical basis of education employees. The practical part describes current education system in the company KOVOSVIT MAS in Sezimovo Ústí and according to the identified shortcomings suggestions for improvement are designed.

The Importance of the Fundraiser in a Non-profit Organization

The main theme of the bachelor work is the importance of the fundraiser in a non-profit organization. It defines the term fundraising, its principles, forms and methods, the work of a fundraiser in a non-profit organization.The work characterizes nonprofit organizations, their legal status and field of activity. There are also information about activities, which improve economy and financial situation of these organizations. In the practical part of my work I have analyzed the way of financing a non-profit organization Junak- Czech scout, Centre Pod Kleti Holubov z.s. I am comparing in this part the way of fundraiser work on the local and state platform. The facts here available are drawn from the public web pages of this organization and also from the account keeping documents of its local center. At the conclusion of my work I am assessing the effectiveness of fund raising plan and its strategy and also describing the way of negotiation with donors. I am noticing the need of a fund raising team creation and also rules of fundraising including necessary cooperation between the center of organization and its local branches.

Appaloosa breeding and their utilization

This bachelor thesis is a summary of the basic information about breeding and utilization of appaloosa. A dominant characteristic of appaloosa is an attractive color coat pattern, which is caused through a set of genes called Leopard Complex (Lp). That is the reason, why in this thesis, at first, the history of presence of the Lp in genus Equus takes place. The presence of Lp can be found already in many cave paintings of prehistoric horses. During domestication, the coat pattern became important. The horses of the same color coat pattern, which have today appaloosa, are depicted in the Celts, Scythians and Etruscans tombs, as well as in murals of Chinese and Egyptian cultures. Significant breeding of the spotted horses are also documented in the Ferghana Valley in eastern Uzbekistan. In Europe at 16th century horses were expanded and a lot of them have spotted coat pattern. Then the Spanish settlers imported these horses to the America, where Nez Perce Indian tribe bred horses, which we know today as Appaloosa.
Furthermore, in this thesis the Appaloosa breed organization, which belongs complete to Appaloosa Horse club of America, is described. The breeding standard and characteristics, which are color coat pattern, mottled skin, visible white sclera and striped hooves are inducted. Seven various types of coat pattern and tree types of registration are also described.
The major problems in the appaloosa breed are inherited diseases. In this thesis the most serious five of them are identified. It is CSNB, congenital stationary night blindnes associated with a homozygous variant of LP gene. HYPP, hyperkalaemic periodic paralysis, which causes muscle spasm of affected horses. This disease was obtained from quarter horses. HERDA - Hereditary Equine Regional Dermal Asthenia which causes irreversible damage to exposed skin. Another serious disease is PSSM, polysaccharide storage myopathy, which is one of many myopathy occuring in horses. The latter disease is lethal GBED. Affected foals lack the enzyme GBE which is necessary for the synthesis and storage of glycogen. In spite of the improving precautions, these diseases have not been fully eliminated from breeding.
Further, there are given the possibilities of using Appaloosa horses in sports, hobby and ranch works. The system of shows and their ratings is described as well.

Support of NGOs in frame of cooperation with companies

This thesis deals with non-profit organizations and their cooperation with commercial companies. The theoretical part points out the differences between the profit and the non-profit sectors, introduction of the term social responsibility of companies and it also shows certain forms of cross-sectorial cooperation. The practical part deals with the support of the non-profit organizations which they receive from the commercial subjects and it also shows the insight of both representatives on this support. Conclusions are made based on the findings and propositions of how this relationship could be improved are presented.
