The roof of the chapel is formed by intersection of two pyramidal roof and it is at an angle of 62°. Roof cladding is made of asphalt shingle. Bell stool with a bell is in the top of the roof. Technical equipment ensuring automatic chime is located in the loft. Connections of wooden beams are designed with steel joints.
Simulation of Idiofonic System
Múčka, Martin ; Keršner, Zbyněk (referee) ; Frantík, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with dynamic simulation of real bell behavior over time. The model is created according to principles of physical discretization as a spring in the FyDiK3D software. In order for the model to be declared as relevant, it is necessary to prove the behavior of the structures used in the elementary tasks of the mechanics. It shows the correlation between the stiffness of normal and diagonal springs. Describes how to use software import tools to create a model. The resulting model approaches its real bell behavior.
Design of automatic drive for church bells
Zajíc, Jiří ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
The Diploma thesis describes the design, manufacture and testing of a universal automation machine for church bells. The research section summarizes the bell, way of use and properties. The drives and their starting and power switching characteristic are analyzed. The chain drive based on the selected engine and the whole assembly is designed and tested by using PLC. Unique controller based on a modular design was designed. Sensors based on magnetic rotary encoder were also created for this unit. The entire circuit was tested on three evangelical church bells in the town Klobouky u Brna.

Casting technology in bell founding
Šromota, Michal ; Pernica, Vítězslav (referee) ; Janský, Vojtěch (advisor)
The topic of the bachelor’s thesis, which comprises of theoretical and practical part, is campanology. The purpose was to summarize the technology of the bells’ manufacture from both, current and historical viewpoints. Basis of the theoretical part is literary recherche which describes the whole process of the bell’s manufacturing, material used for its casting, acoustic features of the bell, history of the industry and parts which are integral part of the bell. The recherche was composed mainly based on Czech academic literature, nonetheless, to a lesser extent, abroad resources were included too. Within the framework of the practical part a bronze bell was casted by a lost wax method with the contribution of 3D print.
Zvonová stolice
Sekula, Petr
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare different systems of bell stools and to desing bell stool for specific bell hanging. In the theoretical part of the thesis is elaborted a rewiew, characterizing bell stools, used materials, and procedures for making of such structures, such as carpentry joints, fasteners, and others. In the practical part of the thesis there is a drawing documentation for renovation of the bell stool in the tower of Evangelical Church in Pržno. The desing of a wooden bell stool, for hanging two bells, with a total weight of 750 kg. The new desing is based on the original desing and its focus. In the end of thesis, the stool assembly procedure was also designed. The benefit of this bachelor thesis is desing of the wooden stool renovation, which preserves the functionality of the stool and ensures that the stucture can fullfill its original purpose.
