Gallery education in regional gallery

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of gallery education and its importance in the educational process. It examines which principles to follow in the realization, so that education in the gallery is beneficial and developing. These findings are linked in the bachelor's thesis to the offer of educational programs of various forms in The Gallery of West Bohemia in Pilsen. Furthermore, the bachelor's thesis deals with a specific exhibition, which was created in The Gallery of West Bohemia in Pilsen in cooperation with the publishing house Baobab and is called BAOABC. How and why is a book for children created. Worksheets were prepared for this exhibition by the educational department of The Gallery of West Bohemia, which are assessed in terms of the didactic transformation of the contents. The method used is a concept analysis and a three-stage diagram. Based on these analyzes, the bachelor's thesis also contains recommendations and suggestions how to work with educational materials in the subsequent teaching of art education. Issue of Intermediation of Abstract Art in Gallery Education Programs for Primary School Students

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of intermediation of abstract art in gallery education programs for primary school students. Its theoretical part outlines the process from figurative to non-figurative imaging through the theory and history of art. The term of abstraction is further expounded by general and developmental psychology. The final theoretical part deals with the intermediation of art and all its connections, including potential difficulties which can occur. The empirical part contains a research with gallery lecturers, which brings and analyzes their attitude to the process of gallery-educational programs providing intermediation of non-figurative art to pupils of younger school age.

Theoretical part describes for example methods for mediation of art and publications of domestic authors which contain specific activities for mediation of art. Space is dedicated to five important Prague art galleries (National Gallery, Gallery of capital city Prague, Rudolfinum, Centre for Contemporary Art DOX, Museum Kampa), especially to their education work in an area of mediation of art. Theoretical part also introduce art-dramatic approach - how it was conceived, what characterize it and why is it important for development of student's (man's) personality. Practical part offers art-dramatic project called Emotions which can be used in mediation of art. Project was partially realized in second grade, reflections and pictures from lessons are attached. The Usage of the Medieval Painting during Leisure Time Activities (The Resurrection by Master of the Třeboň Altarpiece)

The thesis deals with se the usage of animation method for medieval art mediation for children´s audience. The aim of the animation of the Resurrection painting by Master of the Třeboň Altarpiece is to effectively encourage a continued interest in art and history in children at a given age group. The content of the theoretical part is an expected scope of knowledge needed for an ideal realization of the animation. The practical part describes the creative art mediation for children and the concluding reflections are also an integral part of it. It is a big challenge for all museum, gallery and pedagogical professionals to present cultural heritage. The thesis also tries to point out the fact that preliminary animation work is for authors very demanding. It is necessary to completely avoid a close specialization, to work interdisciplinary and to combine all specialized theoretical and practical knowledge in an effective way.
