Diploma thesis deals with the optimization of manufacturing and weight control processes in a dairy processing business with the use of self-measured data. The work aims to design an effective solution leading to the possibility of tagging some products by the „e“ symbol, which means insurance of the average weight of the products. The design of processes improvement is made with the aim to reduce additional material costs. Shewhart Control charts and capability indexes are applied to analyse the initial state of chosen processes. Based on the initial states of processes the improvement is suggested and where it is applicable, means of statistical control are designed based on previous control charts analysis.
Proposal for a methodology to evaluate the capability of a hydraulic test stand

The diploma thesis specifically focuses on the application of capability analyses in the field of industrial hydraulics. The aim is to evaluate the capability of a hydraulic test stand for radial piston hydraulic motors. The thesis includes a theoretical analysis of the current state of the art, a systematic analysis of relevant elements affecting capability, and practical statistical data processing. The result is not only an evaluation of the test stand's capability but also the creation of a methodology for future capability analyses within the company.
Implementing of SPC into production process

This graduation thesis is concerned with implementing the SPC (Statistical process control) to the process plan. The aim of this thesis is an analysis of present status of manufacture laths bending and a selection of useful methods, which is possible to apply in a company processes. The main reason for SPC implementation is continual improvement of quality in manufacturing concern. The theoretical part of thesis consist of bending description, control of process quality, quality control instruments and errors in measurement. In practical part is described an actual status of manufacture and a solution of query.
Study of implementation of SPC statistical method for control of technological operations

The master’s thesis contains a procedure of implementation of statistical process control for a machining process in a chosen company. The method is based upon knowledge of this topic which are mentioned in the first part of the thesis. The output is a comparison of general process performance before and after implementation of the above-mentioned statistical method and evaluation of the influence of this new method at the process. The comparison is done using hypothesis testing of specific statistical variables and analysis of process performance and capability of both data sets. The acquired knowledge and experience will be used for implementation of statistical process control for other processes in the company’s production portfolio.

The process capability indexes are calculated and the results are compared with the outputs of the control charts. After data evaluation, the concepts for innovation are specified. The Master’s thesis deals with the precision of machine tools, especially with the three-axis vertical milling machine. It is structurally divided into a theoretical and practical part. While the theoretical part focuses on problems of geometric errors and measuring devices, the practical one is devoted to the machine tool being tested. In this case, the data processing and the proposed statistical analysis are essential, and at the end of the thesis another possible way of developing the data processing is outlined.

The master’s thesis is focused on the reduction of rejection rate in production of plastic bowls with the use of statistic methods. The theoretical part of this thesis describes among others Statistical Process Control, Process capability and types regulatory diagrams. The basis for the practical part is data collection over a certain period of production, from which the percentage of the rejection rate is evaluated. Experiments and corrective actions are designed to improve the process and thereby reduce scrap.

Tématem této diplomové práce je statistická regulace výrobního procesu. Cílem bylo analyzovat data z reálného technologického procesu revolverového vstřikovacího lisu. Analýza byla provedena za užití statistického testování hypotéz, analýzy rozptylu, obecného lineárního modelu a analýzy způsobilosti procesu. Analýza dat byla provedena ve statistickém softwaru Minitab 16.
