Suggestions for changes in the production of a part "revolver trigger"
Jiráček, Jan ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The study deals with production technology of “revolver trigger“. Final assembly is short firearm ALFA Steel and its model series of ALFA-PROJ, Ltd company. Introduction submits an explanation of trigger technology suitability. The following analysis describes current manufacturing process, which has manufacturing inaccuracy problem. Furthermore rootcause of manufacturing inaccuracy was determined and analysis of suggestions for changes (including modifications of technological process) was realized. Based on experiment dimensions were measured on provided samples of suggest production in Technical Control Department. Dimensions of triggers manufactured by current production were verified during the experiment too. Results were compared according to the rejects of production. In the final phase of the study manufacturing labor costs were compared for the one piece of trigger with the new suggested technology.
Firearm Type Identification in an Image
Čech, Ondřej ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Dvořák, Michal (advisor)
Main goal of this work is to design, implement and test an approach for classifying firearms in an image into categories with short and long fireams, and then with single shot, multi-barreled, repeating and semi-automatic/automatic firearms. This problem was solved using SVM classifier together with Harris corner detector, FREAK descriptor and Bag of Words method. Accuracy of final program is up to 13,3 %.
The materials for firearms barells
Mrózek, Jan ; Molliková, Eva (referee) ; Němec, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to summarise information about development and basic description of individual parts of barrel firearms and appropriate use of materials for their production. The content of this thesis are also methods of surface treatment of the barrel rifling. In conclusion, the thesis describes weapon life and deterioration of barrel firearms.
CAD design of the Walther PPS M2 laser sight housing
Macků, Veronika ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Vančura, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a housing for a laser-sight for a Walther PPS M2 pistol with the aid of reverse engineering methods. The first part is a research about laser-sights. The second part contains contemplation about the problem, mainly the restrictions brought on by the design of the Walther pistol and of the energy source of laser-sight Streamlight TLR-6, as well as the chosen production method of the housing, which is 3D printing. The main part describes the acquirement of input data via scanning the body of the Walther pistol and the housing of TLR-6, the making of the CAD design of the housing, the printing of a prototype with a 3D printer and the consequent correction of the CAD model on the basis of analysis of the prototype.
Maintenance and service SW for weapon calibration
Fedor, Denis ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with virtual weapon simulator SAVIT for armed forces training. Using the example of training weapon MP5 the electrical structure of the device itself is described, followed by the description of communication protocol CANaerospace and USB. The thesis contains the list of parameters of the individual training weapons which are eligible to view in their service program. It also describes graphical user interface of the service program and important parts of its implementation. This thesis does not omit description of the communication between service program and training weapon. In the end it also contains the description of program testing and evaluation of the results of this thesis.
Lasertag gun module
Sekanina, Viktor ; Matěj, Zdeněk (referee) ; Fedra, Zbyněk (advisor)
Master’s thesis describes the design parameters of components of electrical and electronic circuits for the game lasetag. There are described the various components and suggested their connection.
Efficiency improvement proposal of the holes intersection machining technology
Čaňo, Lubomír ; Šaloušek, David (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the efficiency improvement proposal of the deburring technology of the edge of the holes intersection inside of the given part. In the introductory chapter it deals with the introduction of Česká zbrojovka a.s. company, where the creation of this thesis took place. The definition of the fire guns, some of the special products of the CZUB a.s. company and the description of the given part are following. The third chapter contains the description of the current manufacturing process. In the second part the proposals of the possible technologies are listed along with their current state. In the end a technical-economic evaluation is accomplished.
Production technology of part barrel shroud
Jiráček, Jan ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The study deals with technology of "sport steel" barrel shroud part made from a rod semi-product. It makes part of final assembly of a short firearm - ALFA steel revolver, Sport model, of ALFA - PROJ, Ltd. Czech company. Recherche introduction explains basic tooling (its history, tool material's development, milling and hole machining). Furthermore, it is submits an explanation to general arms division and analysis of barrel shroud technology suitability. The following technology process analysis describes the barrel shroud manufacturing process in the aforementioned company. Study's last part shows possible suggestions for manufacturing improvements and rationalizing measures.
Determination of Gun Type and Position in Image Scene
Kolcún, Róbert ; Goldmann, Tomáš (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The main goal of this work is to design an approach for classifying guns into two categories, with short and long weapons, and determining a position of guns in the image scene. This problem was solved using the classical approach as K-Nearest-Neighbour and SVM classification and using convolutional neural networks. In this work was made a comparison of these approaches with a resulting accuracy up to 90%. With the results of this work, it is possible to choose a right approach to this problem.
Detection of Weapons in 2D Image
Demčák, Ján ; Spurný, Martin (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with detection of weapons in 2D image. In the theoretical part of the thesis the term weapon was defined and the possibilities of detection of weapons in image with using classic methods and deep neural networks were mentioned there. The key steps of image processing, objects classification and detection were described. The overview of frameworks, libraries was presented. To implement the pratical part of the thesis, 3 models were chosen. The first classic model with using HOG transformation. The second CNN model with priority target detection accuracy and with two different neural network architectures as classifiers. The third model with YOLO network architecture had as priority target real-time detection. The essential part of each model was choice, or more precisely creating suitable dataset. What followed was the construction and implementation of models and the evaluation of obtained data.
