People with basic education in the labor market in the region Tábor

In my thesis I focus my attention on problem people with primary education on labour market in region Tábor. The aim of the work is evaluate the unemployment of people with basic education on the labour market in region Tábor and look for the resolution of this issue. Theoretical part of the thesis is focusing on the labour market, unemployment and education. These topics are closely connected. We are describing the region Tábor, important firms, and also projects of the European Union, which can increase the employment on the labour market. The research is doing by the quantitative research. We are using questionnaire inquiry and statistical assessment. We focus on two different categories of the job seekers, people with elementary education and higher education (secondary education without and with graduation, higher technical education, university education). It was addressed 84 job seekers who are in evidence of the employment office in Tábor. We made interviews with 10 expert advisers of the employment office in Tábor and we also interviewed 3 representatives of villages Jistebnice, Planá nad Lužnicí and Sezimovo Ústí over the phone. The results of the interviews are processing and presenting in tables. In chapter 5 under the name discussion is afterwards made detailed analysis. I consider this bachelor's thesis very actual. Results of this work could help employees of the employment office in Tábor, Asylum building for woman and mothers with children in Tábor, but at the same time also various firms in areas at Tábor and give them better information and orientation in this theme.

Science knowledge of pupils at lower primary school

This diploma thesis verifies the knowledge of some specified science topics among pupils at lower primary school. The pupil´s knowledge was inquired by using their own drawings, and by a didactic test. The work mentions the analysis of science textbooks and workbooks that are used in schools as one of the knowledge sources of products of nature and animals. The results of the work are used to get the idea about the real extent of science education at lower primary school, and to find out what knowledge of this field the pupils actually have these days.

M-learning - mobile applications in education

The aim is to acquaint the reader with a relatively new teaching method of education called m-learning. Highlights the pros and cons of this method and gives a comprehensive view of the problem. In the theoretical section describes the various definitions and concepts that relate to the issue, the use of m-learning in practice, appropriate facilities and various forms of mobile learning. It also lists the categories of mobile educational applications. The subject of the practical part is the analysis of two elementary schools, one of which supports mobile learning and the other not. Analysis was performed using a questionnaire survey among teachers and students. The outcome of the assessment of the situation in schools in terms of interest in mobile learning among students and teachers.

Unqualified job applicants on the labour market

The thesis is focused on unqualified group of job applicants. The teoretical part describes the labour market and it´s segmentation, the importance of human capital, the risk groups threatened by the long-term unemployment with special attention to the poeple without qualification. Practical part determine, by the questionnaire research, whether the unqualified job applicants are motivated to increasing qualification and whether their expectations are real due to the labour market possibilities.

Development and financing of Universities in V4 countries from 1989 to 2010

The Bachelor's thesis deals with development of higher education, which have undergone after the social changes in the Vysegrad countries after 1989. The main goal of the paper is to analyze the funding of public universities and to point out how the support of education affects the competitiveness of individual countries. The first part deals with general characteristics of education from the perspective of economic theory and benefits that flow from the support of education to whole society and individuals. The main part of my work describes the current situation of the distribution of funds from public sources in Czech Republic and Slovakia. It devotes the methodology of allocation of donations and contributions in details and ways of their calculations. In the study, there are outlined possible options how to increase level and quality of universities by better cooperation with private sector.
