Construction of yarn keeper with mechanic clamp of Air-Jet machine
Jíša, Martin ; Sloupenský,, Jiří (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes methods of textile fibers treatment, production levels with detailed focus on spinning process especially by Rieter AG in Winterthur, Switzerland, subsidiary company in Usti nad Orlici. Thesis also describes production materials and it’s behavior in relations to production machines. Analysis of the current solution, it’s pros and cons is also done. Setting of requirements of new solution. Creating proposals of design solutions of yarn keeper with mechanic clamp situated on spinning unit on Air-Jet machine. Creating concepts and proposal schemes. After choosing of best possible solution considering production costs, electric consumption during working machine and during active cycle was this variation produce. At the end is review of complete solution and prospective next steps in testing not only in laboratory and prospects of using in field.
Multi-filament yarns testing for textile-reinforced concrete
Kaděrová, Jana ; Seitl,, Stanislav (referee) ; Vořechovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The scope of the presented master thesis was the experimental study of multi-filament yarns made of AR-glass and used for textile-reinforced concrete. The behavior under the tensile loading was investigated by laboratory tests. A high number of yarn specimens (over 300) of six different lengths (from 1 cm to 74 cm) was tested to obtain statistically significant data which were subsequently corrected and statistically processed. The numerical model of the multi-filament bundle was studied and applied for prediction of the yarn performance and for later results interpretation. The model of n parallel filaments describes the behavior of a bundle with varying parameters representing different sources of disorder of the response and provides the qualitative information about the influence of their randomization on the overall bundle response. The aim of the carried experiment was to validate the model presumptions and to identify the model parameters to fit the real load-displacement curves. Unfortunately, due to unsuccessful correction of measured displacements devalued by additional non-linear contribution of the unstiff experiment device the load-displacement diagrams were not applicable to model parameters identification. The statistical evaluation was carried only for the maximal load values and the effect of the specimen size (length) on its strength was demonstrated. The size effect curve did not exclude the existence of spatial correlation of material mechanical properties modifying the classical statistical Weibull theory.
Game Demo in Unity
Hostin, Adam ; Matýšek, Michal (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
Nowadays, video games are more popular than ever before in history. Therefore this area of digital art should be given special attention. The arrival of smart phones considerably expanded the availability of video games. Today, the user is separated from the entertaining game by few clicks on the phone screen. The aim of this thesis was to develop mechanics into a game demo. These mechanics are centered around player movement and objects that player can interact with. The player plays the role of a ball of yarn, and as the character moves, the yarn unravels. Its end is lit on fire that spreads and creates sense of danger in player. Game contains platforms and gates with ability to change direction of gravity. There are also mechanics that are using 2D light. Light is used to create day and night themed levels.    Demo was created using Unity game engine and C#. The result is a playable application, game demo, targeted for android.
