Master's thesis is focused on work conditions area in selected company, especially on occupational health and safety. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze work conditions, which are in the company nowadays, and to create suggestion, which should lead to the correction of eventual gaps. This correction should lead to the improvement of the work conditions in the company, and should be also acceptable for the company.

Occupational Stress

The thesis deals with load, stress and related questions of the working life. Work-related stress brings numerous difficulties not only to affected individuals, but as a result also to organizations. The thesis follows symptoms, impacts, somatic and mental aspects of stress, its types and also types of stressors, which cause this problem. It is concentrated on workload as a specific area of work-related stress, individual resistance to the load, factors of workload and work-related stress and also on coping with problematic situations. The specific topic related to the stress is burnout syndrome. The thesis describes its formation and development, its causes, symptoms in three main levels - mental, physical and level of social relations and then influence of important factors such as personality and work conditions. It is also focused on professions endangered by burnout syndrome and its prevention. Work conditions preferences of generation Y

Work preferences of generation Y, which will, in the next few years, constitute a significant proportion of the workforce on the labor market, differ noticeably from the preferences of the previous generation, generation X. The aim of this thesis is to provide information about generation Y and its work conditions preferences and to introduce the concept of work-life balance, as well as related alternative ways of working. Among these alternative ways of working belong flexible jobs or the principle of freedom at work, which offers the ability to work in more natural conditions. Analysis of the Motivation and Satisfaction of Employees in a firm

The aim of this study is to analyze the motivation and satisfaction of employees at British American Tobacco Ltd. The bachelor thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The first part describes the concepts and sources of motivation, which affect the performance of employees in the company. The second part describes the aim of the research, its progress and evaluation results in respect of which was carried out to analyze the way of motivation and satisfaction of employees in the company. For the following analysis methods were used questionnaire and a personal unstructured interview. The result of the thesis is mentioned proposal for improving the motivation of employees, which has potential and could be implemented in the company.
