The Apartment block Novolisenska
Veselý, Ondřej ; Erben, Adam (referee) ; Pavlovský, Tomáš (advisor) ; Šuhajda, Karel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a new "viladum" (a smaller apartment building with a higher standard of living) in Brno Líšeň. The work is based on a previously developed architectural study developed within the course AG32. "Viladum" usually referres to as older urban villas, which have been converted to host more housing units. Today this is a very comfortable and desirable form of housing. The topic of the thesis was to create a design of a smaller apartment house, typologically emerging from the "viladum". The proposed building has one underground and three above-ground floors. Each of the above floors contains one dwelling unit. The proposal uses the height difference on the site to create a ramp for vehicles in the basement where garages are located. The volume and location of the house on the parcel is mainly based on the limits given by the development plan. The house was deliberately designed with a higher standard of living. From the elevator you can enter directly into the apartments. The ground floor apartment is completed with a garden, an apartment on the third floor, southwest oriented to the terrace. The south and east side of the apartments are illuminated by French windows and balconies. The building meets the requirements for low-energy buildings according to ČSN 73 0540-2: 2011. The basement consists of a monolithic reinforced concrete structure made of waterproof concrete on the principle of "white bathub". Above-ground floors are made of porous concrete blocks combined with monolithic reinforced concrete ceilings. The roof is designed as a green roof.
Supporting structure of a polyfunctional house
Reinoha, David ; Šiška, Radek (referee) ; Strnad, Jiří (advisor)
The subject of this master’s thesis is the design and calculation of a five-floor multifunctional building. The building consists of flats located in floors -1 to 3, the remaining underground floors serving as a car park and the second part of the building contains spaces designated for business purposes. Each of the two flats located on each floor features a balcony. The multifunctional building contains two underground floors which are designed entirely as reinforced concrete structures and three aboveground floors designed as ceramic brickwork structure. The roof of the building is flat, not designed for walking and featuring an air conditioning unit for the entire building. A review of selected loadbearing structures of component floors was performed as a part of this thesis. The main load-bearing horizontal is composed of stiff ceilings, including the bordering ceiling of the third floor and the roof. Above-ground floors are to be constructed of pre-stretched ceiling girders Spiroll which are set onto reinforcing wreaths. Underground floors are to be constructed as a monolithic structure made of ferroconcrete. The vertical structure is constructed of perforated brick blocks for above-ground floors comprising floors 1-3, remaining underground walls are constructed of monolithic ferroconcrete. Foundation constructions are made of monolithic concrete white tub including confluence and review of the tub.

The bachelor's thesis follows up and further elaborates the architectural study prepared within the subject Studio Creation 2 - AG032 - Production Buildings. The main topic of the work is the new construction of a building for the production of sparkling wines. The building is located in the cadastral area of Kobylí in Moravia. The building is not typical in the surrounding buildings, but still respects the surrounding buildings. The street part of the building is bent with a street line, the height of the building does not exceed the surrounding buildings, but tries to fit into the sloping terrain on which the building stands. The building has two floors. The floor marked as 1S, occupies a purely production function and there is a complete line for wine production from pressing to bottling. This line is loosely connected to the sparkling wine production line. There are also archive and expedition warehouses on this floor. This floor is part of the whole street sunk into the terrain, as the land continues to slope downwards, the building gradually grows out of the terrain. Structurally, the 1S is designed as a so-called reinforced concrete white tub. It fulfills both the HI function of the substructure and the aesthetic function, which is described as visible concrete from the exterior and interior of the building. The 1st floor of the building is entered from the street part and this floor has several functions. In the front part there is all the administration of the building together with the wine and sparkling wine shop, through the so-called connecting block we get to the living area, where there are a total of 6 rooms for guests who can stay here. One of the rooms is designed as barrier-free. The construction system of the 1st floor is made of YTONG blocks. To achieve thermal comfort in the interior, this floor is insulated with mineral wool and a ventilated wooden facade made of Siberian larch is subsequently designed for the composition of the insulatio

Kaláb, Ondřej ; Valenta, Michal (referee) ; Biely, Boris (advisor)
The aim of this Diploma Thesis is constructionally - technological solution of the rough construction of polyfunctional house on the corner of Bánskobystrická and Medlánecká streets in Brno Řečkovice. In the Diploma Thesis I will deal with the plan of the work procedure of the execution of roof construction layers, machine sets, itemized budget, construction schedule, construction site equipment, inspection and testing plan, ecology and transport relations related to the construction. I would like to point out the complication of the construction with a lack of space because the construction is in the area of Brno Řečkovice. The plan of construction execution was more difficult due to lack of space for storage of materials and machinery handling.
