Prediction of the atmospheric turbulence
Sloboda, Šimon ; Barcík, Peter (referee) ; Hudcová, Lucie (advisor)
The aim of this work is to examine theoretical knowledge of the refractive index structure parameter and models for its calculation and prediction. Based on data downloaded from meteorological services, the accuracy of refractive index structure parameter prediction using Sadot-Kopeika model was evaluated at ten different locations on Earth. A program was created for the calculation and prediction of the refractive index structure parameter, which uses downloaded meteorological data.
Advanced Weather Station with Image Transmission
Augustin, Stanislav ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Povalač, Aleš (advisor)
The content of this diploma thesis is a hardware and software design of advanced weather station with image transmission. The meteostation consist of two units - outdoor and indoor unit. Outdoor unit provide processing measured values from temperature sensor, atmospheric pressure sensors, rain gauge and windmeter. It also provides processing of captured image and wireless transmission of measured values to indoor unit. Indoor unit should provide comfortable meteostation controlling and visualization of weather situation by web interface.

Fundamental Analysis of Numerical Data for Automatic Trading
Huf, Petr ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
This thesis is aimed to exploitation of fundamental analysis in automatic trading. Technical analysis uses historical prices and indicators derived from price for price prediction. On the opposite, fundamental analysis uses various information resources for price prediction. In this thesis, only quantitative data are used. These data sources are namely weather, Forex, Google Trends, WikiTrends, historical prices of futures and some fundamental data (birth rate, migration, \dots). These data are processed with LSTM neural network, which predicts stocks prices of selected companies. This prediction is basis for created trading system. Experiments show major improvement in results of the trading system; 8\% increase in success prediction accuracy thanks to involvement of fundamental analysis.

Meteorological data acquisition and transmission
Holínek, Pavel ; Adamec, Filip (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
This document is about collection and presentation of meteorological data. To get data was used digital and analog sensors, controled by the microcontroller ATmega16. Meteostation has 2 modules. The first is designed for monitoring of indoor values and displaying data, the second module is for outdoor measurements. Next research was focused on the comparison with other meteorological stations and more expansion options.
Atmospheric Phenomena
Radouš, Jakub ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Kobrtek, Jozef (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with a visualisation issue of several atmospheric phenomena by means of the OpenGL library. The work contains theoretical bases for rain, snowfall, lightning, fog, wind, tornado and rainbow, which are further converted to the form of algorithms. The outcome is an application with graphical user interface that is able to display seven natural phenomena set in a landscape.
Emo Weather
Drštičková, Hana ; Šlesingerová,, Eva (referee) ; Sterec, Pavel (advisor)
The artwork was created by linking two thematic areas, mental health and atmospheric phenomena aka weather. I am examining forms of alienation and emotional numbness, which I follow by thematizing the isolation of people from the external environment and manifestations of local weather. I touch upon the topics of current weather representations, such as meteorological satellite images, and last but not least, I contemplate the fact of climate crisis. The work takes the form of a 100-minute long video, a set of 21 paintings by aniline colors on paper, sound track played in a loop and additional literature, texts and sketches available for public.
Weather recognition from camera images/sequences
Sadel, Juraj ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
The aim of my master's thesis is to design and then implement suitable weather classification algorithms mainly focused on the detection of precipitation and fog, including parameterization. The first half of my thesis is devoted to a theoretical description of weather and it's impact on transport. Furthermore, the theory of image processing and neural networks and already existing solutions is approached. Subsequently, the used datasets are described. The practical part of thesis is devoted to the design of possible algorithms based on the theoretical part of the thesis. After the design, the individual algorithms are implemented, tested and evaluated. Finally, a comparison of classical methods and neural networks is described.
Remote Nature
Richtr, Pavel ; Suchánek, Jiří (referee) ; Krekovič, Slavomír (advisor)
In my thesis I deal with the interactivity between the weather and the virtual model, whose main output is sound. I'm trying to create generative installation where reacts virtua oraganism with real environment and generates signals that can be interpreted in a sound to explore the aesthetic relations of that connection.
