Voice education in adult choir
Černá, Anna ; Valášek, Marek (advisor) ; Fürstová, Lucie (referee)
The goal of the bachelor thesis is to explain the importance of voice education in adult choirs. In the introduction of the thesis, the historical developments of voice education and the physiology of the vocal tract are briefly described. Later, the issues of singing posture, breath support and warm up are examined. The terms consonant, vocal, vocal register and resonance are explained. The thesis continues with introducing breath and vocal exercises to strengthen the main vocal attributes. These exercises are suitable for all voice types. The last topic of the theoretical part is vocal hygiene. The basic preventive measures to ensure the longevity of the vocal apparatus: regeneration, nutrition, voice care prior to a performance. The core of the thesis is the research part, which itself consists of two parts. The first one includes interviews with vocal teachers. The interviews were held in person with a list of prepared questions. The content of the interviews revolves around the issues of warm up, frequently occurring vocal problems and integration of new choir members. The second part examines voice education approaches in three chosen Czech amateur choirs. This analysis is done based on personal observations of the choirs' rehearsals. The conclusion of all the gathered evidence is that the...
Monitoring efectivity of gymnastic warming up
Panský, Jindřich ; Chrudimský, Jan (advisor) ; Holá, Iveta (referee)
Title: Monitoring the effectiveness of gymnastic warm-up Objectives: Aim of this work is to describe the effectiveness of gymnastic warm-up through evaluation of heart rate dynamics. Methods: Work partially solves the problem of the creation, managing and evaluating warm-up and uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative research. Heart rate (HR) dynamics is detected through sport-tester Polar Vantage NV, it is also used expert assessment and results processing is made by statistical methods in Microsoft Excel. Results: Dynamics of heart rate during the warm-up is different under the direction of the teacher and student -led, after comparing graphical representations, and after a thorough warm-up monitoring. It is mainly due to the amount of experience in a teaching practice and a higher level of pedagogical skills, which contribute significantly to increased warming in terms of quality control. Keywords: gymnastic warm-up, heart rate, load, intensity, sport-tester
Dynamic warm-up race for tennis players
Koskuba, Jakub ; Kočíb, Tomáš (advisor) ; Carboch, Jan (referee)
Title: Dynamic warm-up race for tennis players Subject: Male and female tennis players from tennis club Tj Lokomotiva Plzen Objective: Compare immediate influence of static and dynamic stretching on performance level during particular movement tests using device Myotest PRO Methods: To meet the objective quantitative comparison was used by performance parameters using load accelerometer. Quantitative stress parameters were evaluated for individual tests as the mean value from a large amount of repetition in individually evaluation. Results: Tests proved it is not possible to confirm acute positive influence of dynamic stretching on all assesed parameters in different tests. In terms of average values of different tests a noticeable lower limbs improvement has been emerged at two out of three tests. Keywords: dynamic stretching, warm up, sport, injuries, regeneration, tennis
The impact of static and dynamic stretching on coordination and flexibility in children in primary school

TITLE: The impact of static and dynamic stretching on coordination and flexibility in children in primary school AUTHOR: Tereza Plachá DEPARTMENT: Katedra tělesné výchovy SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Lucie Kainová ABSTRACT: In my final thesis I want to deal with two types of warm-up - static stretching and dynamic stretching. Warming up is an important part not only of the sport performance, but also at the beginning of the physical education lesson. In schools, this phase is often neglected. With the help of selected tests, I will observe primary school pupils at primary school to get better results after static or dynamic stretching. I will watch them in coordination and flexibility. I compiled two types of stretching, which I will try in grades 1, 3 and 5. In the first lesson, I will do static stretching with the pupils after the proper warm-up. In the second lesson, I will include dynamic stretching along the busy part. In the main part of the lesson, the pupils then pass three tests for coordination - flamingo, crossing the bench and running with the roll; and three for flexibility - standing forward bend, shoulder joint range, and hip joint range. After dynamic stretching, the children are warmed up, reaching the necessary temperature for further activities. They have a greater range of motion and therefore...
Comparasion of effectiveness of florball warm-ups
Effect of warm up to repetitive speed test
Křížová, Anna ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Title: Effect of warm up to repetitive speed test Objectives: Comparison of effects of two variations of warm up on repetitive acceleration speed test. Methods: In this work analysis and comparison method was used. The method of analysis was applied in particular warm up for track-and-field disciplines and speed training. The method of comparison was used for evaluation of results in speed test. Results: Probands achieved the shortest time on 30 meters sprint on first testing after complete warm up. The differences between times after particular types of warm up were not significant. On shuttle run 3 x 10 meters probands achieved on first testing after complete warm up the shortest time again. It was statistical significantly better than on test 30 meters sprit. Achieved time after motion activity was almost the same after complete or partial warm up. Keywords: acceleration speed test, effect of warm up, repetitive test, speed, speed test, warm up
Acute effect of static and dynamic stretching on vertical jump
Dostálová, Anna ; Lopot, František (advisor) ; Kubový, Petr (referee)
Title Acute effect of static and dynamic stretching on vertical jump. Objectives The aim of this thesis is to assess whether it is better to warm up by static or dynamic stretching in order to improve performance in the vertical jump. Methods The first part of this thesis is theoretical and is the basis for measurement, which is described in the second part. The tested set consists of ten women volleyball players. Each player underwent three vertical jump measurements on power plates Kistler, which recorded flight time of the player over the plates. All measurements were evaluated afterwards. Five attempts were recorded in each measurement. Measurements were carried out without stretching, after dynamic stretching and after static stretching. The thesis includes a survey that monitors the perception of the players` performance. Results Results of the total tested set measurement show that inclusion of dynamic stretching during the warm up leads to a slight decline in the physical performance. This decrease presents about 0.92%. Another conclusion of this research is that the inclusion of static stretching to the warm up also results in a slight decrease in the athletic performance. In this case the decrease is about 1.72%. In a direct comparison of these two types of stretching, the inclusion of...
