Wireless charging station
Navara, Albert ; Dvorský, Adam (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is the design and construction of a wireless charging station compatible with the Qi standard with the possibility of delivering higher power. A wireless receiver is also designed and constructed to evaluate the capabilities of the wireless charger. Before the design itself, the theory of transmission and procedures for selecting topologies and components are discussed in the thesis. In the design of the transmitter and the receiver, microcontrollers are used, which take care of communication with each other and set the required parameters. The assembled transmitter is tested with a receiver in the form of an LC circuit, with a purchased receiver, and with the designed receiver within various distances and deviations of the transmitter and the receiver. The final product is fitted into a plastic box printed on a 3D printer.
Vestavěný systém pro příjem audiostreamů na historickém radiopřijímači
Jirgl, Karel ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of the work is to create an embedded device on Raspberry Pi or ESP32 platform, which will allow to play audio streams on historical radios according to their functionality, either by interfering with their electronics, or by simulating FM and AM broadcasts using SDR or a created transmitter. The result is a device controlled via a web application allowing audio streams from SD card, internet, Bluetooth or available FM and DAB broadcasts to be played on historical radios.
AM transmitter for experimental purpose
Kundel, Petr ; Urbanec, Tomáš (referee) ; Prokeš, Aleš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the problem, design and implementation of an analog AM transmitter for experimental purposes. In the thesis, the individual circuit blocks are analyzed, the block and circuit structure of the transmitter with modern components is designed, which is subsequently implemented after simulations. The implementation of switching amplifiers minimizes the power dissipation and thus the circuit achieves high efficiency.
Wireless charger based on the NFC Forum WLC 2.0 standard
Rada, Vojtěch ; Junasová, Veronika (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on wireless charging technology according to the Wireless Charing 2.0 standard by the NFC Forum and the design of an ASIC circuit of a device functioning as a listener, where the primary emphasis is placed on the digital design of this circuit. In the beginning the work deals with a general theory, gradually discussing all the standards from the NFC Forum that are necessary for the control protocol design according to the Wireless Charging 2.0. Subsequently, the analysis of a real communication in the development kit for this standard is conducted, based on which the system design of the digital circuit is made. The designed circuit is described by VHDL language and verified by running the basic simulations to check the functionality of the designed parts of the circuit. In the final part of the thesis, a prototype module with the proposed system is fabricated, implemented in an FPGA with a connected battery charger circuit and its functionality is tested in practice.
Laser transmitter with fiber
Hašek, Jaroslav ; Němeček, Jiří (referee) ; Wilfert, Otakar (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with communication which is provided by optical devices. Optical wireless links are enforced due to high bit rate, responsibility and noise immunity. Main part of this master´s project is devoted to optical fibre, its characteristic and its usage in laser transmitter.
Wireless system for household appliances voice control
Potůček, Miroslav ; Háze, Jiří (referee) ; Sajdl, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis deals with using the human voice for controlling electrical appliances by means of wireless technology. It concerns recognition of individual isolated words which form commands. A method based on the distance from the model is used for recognizing the words. The wireless communication is carried out by modules RFM 01/02 whose properties fully conform to the assignment. The practical realization of the network which is capable of switching on and off is described in this work. The network is designed to match the requirements of the task and to be economical.
Testing of the LTE basic parameters
Hocz, Jan ; Miloš, Jiří (referee) ; Hanus, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with brief introduction to LTE system and processing of signal in uplink and downlink. There is also presented some basic parameters that must be met for correctly working equipment in system. These parameters are divided for transmitter and receiver. From these parameters were chosen those, which can be measured in school labs with available measurement devices. For measuring these parameters were created instructions. For easier record of measured data was prepared protocol with blank tables.
TV Remote Controller
Bordács, Balázs ; Hála, Ondřej (referee) ; Hermany, Jiří (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with parameters of the TV Remote Controller. Aim of this work is studying standards of remote controling of TV receiver by the way of infra-red light. For succesful solving of this project is important to learn about the theory of IrDA. In the second part ot this thesis is designed measurement unit for measuring the parameters of the remote control. The measurement unit includes an integrated IR receiver and photodiode for receive IR signals from remote control. The description of measurement unit blocks and principles of measuring parameters are also placed there. The final part is devoted to processing the measurement results of measuring levels and time waveforms of signal in the receiver module, directional characteristics of remote control and receiver. For measuremented unit is created laboratory task including the role specification and protocol.
Lighting control system using a wireless communication network
Levek, Vladimír ; Kadlec, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kuchta, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create and describe the wireless system for lighting control. A part of the work is the creation of modules for switching lighting and the creation of their operating programs. The first chapter briefly describes the way how the lighting control works and contains general requirements for the intelligent home. Further, there is a description of IQRF system, which serves as a wireless platform for the system. Next part of the thesis describes individual modules in terms of hardware and software. One part of the work covers the description of the transmission protocol. The attachment includes a listing of all operating programs for this wireless control system.
Low-range high-speed optical transceiver
Pučálka, Jan ; Tošovský, Petr (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with description and design of a low-cost free-space optical (FSO) link. First, general FSO theory is discussed including their common parameters, properties and topologies. Further, optical signal sources and detectors are proposed. Finally, the selected implementation is described including its design and realization. The proposed FSO consists of two identical segments (modules) to form a full-duplex link. The FSO utilizes LED as a light source, maximum speed data rate is 100 Mb/s with 100Base-TX interface.
