Comparison of measurement accuracy of optical and 3D kinematic system
Surkoš, Ondřej ; Adamík, Richard (referee) ; Kundera, Václav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of the accuracy of two instruments for measuring the vertical jump, using a different measuring principle, namely "Optojump next" and "BTS Smart DX". In the theoretical part, the individual devices are discussed, on what principle they work and are compared with each other. In the practical part we deal with the methodology, processing of measured data and evaluation of the results of measurements.
Profile of youth footballers as goalkeepers
Zvoníček, Matěj ; Gryc, Tomáš (advisor) ; Bujnovský, David (referee)
Title: Profile of youth footballers as goalkeepers Objectives: The objective of this study was to compare selected parameters of body composition, level of static postural stability and level of lower extremities explosive strength between male and female goalkeepers in soccer and between selected age categories. Methods: A total of 33 male (n = 22) and female (n = 11) soccer goalkeepers participated in the study. They were divided into six test groups based on gender and age category (14-15, 16- 17 and 18-19 years) for performance assessment. These groups were assessed for basic anthropometric data (body height and weight), body composition parameters (% body fat, fat free mass), and level of static postural stability (deviations of the total center of pressure path) in four types of stands (narrow stand open eyes/closed eyes, right/left lower limb stand) and lower extremities explosive strength (jump height, relative force impulse, relative maximum force produced) in four types of jumps (counter movement jump free arms, counter movement jump, squat jump, drop jump). We used a Tanita MC-980MA bioimpedance device (Tanita Corporation, Japan) to assess body composition parameters, a Footscan pressure plates (RSscan International, Belgium) to assess postural stability, and a KISTLER 8611 force plates...
The Creation and the Verification of a Strength Training Program to Develop Jump in a Youth Basketball Team of BK Tigers ČB
POBORSKÁ, Klára
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and verify an eight-week strength training plan focused on lower limb strength, which should improve the quality of a vertical leap. The program is added to regular team trainings once a week. A youth team of those born 2006-2007, who play basketball for BK Tigers in České Budějovice, is tested. The testing was implemented in an academic year of winter semester 2019. As an entrance and exit test, a vertical leap at the wall is selected. In the theoretical part of the thesis, a general anatomy and physiology, strength abilities, strength training as well as an issue of children s and basketball strength training are described. The practical part describes an implemented training program and a procedure of measurement. The results and their factual importance were verified through the student s t-test and Cohen s d. Individual results are provided in tables and a chart. The results showed an improvement with a low significance level with an average improvement of a vertical leap 8,18 cm.
The Creation and the Verification of a Training Program to Develop Jump in a Adolescents Volleyball Team VK Jihostroj České Budějovice
VÍTŮ, Sabina
The thesis aimed to the creation and verification of a training program of improvement vertical jump volleyball team VK Jihostroj České Budějovice. It was a kvaziexperiment. It involved ten volleyball players from a youth category and two volleyball players from a men category. Initial testing was performed before a three-month training intervention and then final testing followed. The testing combined two tests made on a reaction platform LEM 10 with ProJump, which is located in the laboratory of stress diagnostics at KTVS in České Budějovice. The first test was the maximizing vertical jump height and the second test was the endurance test, which consisted of three jumps. Another observed aspect is a biological one. The training intervention was incorporated into the normal training plan and took place every Monday and Wednesday. The research has proved that volleyball players had higher measured values of output vertical jump comparing with input values from the entry test because of the training program. The prediction that probands would have average or better results of an output endurance test than the entry test due to the training program was not confirmed. Furthermore, the assumption that probands will achieve average or better results in maximum vertical jump than the given average by LEM 10 with ProJump manual has not been confirmed as well. The correlation between the biological age and the maximum jump, which is evaluated by the correlation coefficient and is greater than |0,4| was confirmed.

The Effect of Postural Therapy Using Posturomed on Jump in Basketball.
Hrušková, Magdaléna ; Rašev, Eugen (advisor) ; Neuwirthová, Svatava (referee)
Title: The Effect of Postural Therapy Using Posturomed on Jump in Basketball. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to assess what effect the state of postural stabilization has on the jump height in basketball, to capture the level of postural stabilization before and after the 6-week proprioceptive postural therapy on Posturomed and to find out whether the jump height in probands changes after this therapy. Methods: The thesis included 30 probands - basketball players. 15 probands were assigned to the experimental group and 15 other probands were assigned to the control group. All probands underwent both the initial and the final jump height measurement. Each proband had 3 attempts, out of which the highest performance was recorded. The probands of the experimental group participated in a 6-week postural therapy. The therapy was carried out according to the concept of postural therapy on Posturomed by dr. Rašev. The data was evaluated in program Microsoft Office Excel. For the calculation of the unpaired t-test, statistical program SPSS was used. Results: Measurements confirmed the positive effect of the therapy on Posturomed on the jump height. The experimental group achieved a statistically significant difference in the jump height against the control group. Keywords: Vertical jump, basketball,...
Vertical jump comparison of women's volleyball players
Klasová, Kateřina ; Zahálka, František (advisor) ; Hráský, Pavel (referee)
Title: Vertical jump comparison of women's volleyball players Objectives: The aim of this work was to coparison of vertical jump, postural stability and body composition of women's volleyball players before and after season 2012/2013. During the season there was a deliberate intervention to develop explosive power. By the comparing the input and output of results we conclude that the training developed or didn't develop explosive power of the lower limbs, and that had an effect on body composition and stability. Methods: The study included 10 women from 2. Volleyball League (n=10 , age = ± 20,6 years, height = ± 172,7 cm, BMI = ± 0,19 kg/cm2 ). For input and output testing, we used three different tests. First, we measured body composition, then postural stability (1) narrow standing with eyes open (the US-OO), (2) narrow standing with eyes closed (the US-ZO), (3) standing on the right lower limb "flamingo test "(the FLA-R), (4) stands on the left lower limb (the FLA-L). Finally, the players performed six types of vertical jump. Jump with the upper limbs (V1 - Countermovement jump free arms) jump without the help of the upper limbs (V2 - Countermovement jump), jump from squatting (V3 - Squat jump), when the whole movement only made up, without countermovement, block jump (V4 - Block), moving one...
