Forest newspaper - support for environmental education in preschool education

The bachelor thesis is focused on environmental education in preschool education and its main goal is to present a teaching project on the topic of forest ecosystem. The environmental project is in the form of a monothematic issue of a newspaper called "Forest newspaper", which aims at the issue of the forest ecosystem and contains comprehensive educational activities to support the teaching of environmental education in kindergartens. The theoretical part deals with the concept of environmental education, its characteristics, methodological elements and the possibility of using forest pedagogy. The practical part is based on a semi-structured interview. It is devoted to the evaluation of work with Forest newspaper in practice in kindergarten and in the family environment, with children of preschool age. Based on the obtained positive evaluation of this project, the work on the project will continue and the next issue of Forest newspaper will be published.
Teaching about selected topics of first aid at elementary school

The aim of thesis was to design and to verify the author's education programme on chosen topics about first aid. The verification of the programme had to take place, due to long-term schools closure, in two parallel eight grade classes in the form of distance learning in one of the elementary schools in Ceske Budejovice. Before the lesson, the students had to fill in Pretest, that was supposed to discover students' existing knowledge of the topic of first aid. An experimental class was chosen randomly, in which the lesson was led with the help of the instructional videos of the author's programme, practical drill, didactic game, crosswords and wordsearch. Control group was taught conventionally through monologue with the help of Microsoft Powerpoint presentation following with students' filling in a worksheet. The second day of the lessons, each class filled in a Posttest I and two weeks later a Posttest II, in both cases these were two identical didactic tests. The principle Pretest - Posttest verified the effectiveness of the relevant education project and through the statistical analysis of the t-test it was discovered that a statistically significant increase of the knowledge level in both groups of students occurred. Because both groups improved and then worsened, the chosen type of teaching did not affect their knowledge level. The difference of the Pretest, Posttest I and Posttest II was statistically different in favour of the experimental group contrary to the control group and also in favour of boys contrary to girls. Perception of the importance of the first aid topic changed in time in the way that students assigned the topic more value. The verified education material could be a benefit to biology lessons in upper primary schools.
Mask in leisure activities of adolescent youth

This bachelor thesis deals with the use of masks in leisure activities of adolescents. It is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with leisure, characterizes the age group of adolescence from a psychological point of view and presents the current situation of adolescents through the eyes of experts. The third chapter describes the phenomenon of mask, its definition, division of masks and mask as a means of working with identity. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to theater mask. The practical part generally introduces the educational project and used methods. Subsequently, presents five specific activities with the theme of mask for adolescents. The activities are designed in order to attract adolescents but above all help to develop their personality and identity.
Návrh výukového projektu pro environmentální vzdělávání na střední odborné škole

As part of the thesis named Proposal educational project for environmental education at secondary school was elaborated the theme Water as an essential part of life on Earth. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The aim of theoretical part is to define the concept of the project, comparison of historical and contemporary conception of educational project, a description of teaching methods with a focus on teaching with the aid of projects and also on the positives, or risks of teaching with using educational project. An integral part of the theoretical part of the thesis is also description of the role of the teacher in the classroom with the aid of educational projects. For processing the theoretical part are used professional literatures and Internet sources. As methods for processing the theoretical part were used the analysis, comparison and synthesis. In the practical part of the thesis is the aim of the proposal educational project focusing on the theme of water. The part of the practical part is elaborated methodology of work with the created educational project and samples worksheets that will be used as part of an educational project. As a method in practical part of the thesis was used an analysis of school documents. A conclusion together with recommendations for teaching practice will be formulated based on results.
Use of nutrition "pyramid" in teaching health education projects

This thesis deals with the "pyramid" nutrition that is currently mostly used in teaching in primary schools. The aim of the study is to evaluate the possibilities of didactic use model "pyramid" nutrition teaching health education in primary schools and where appropriate, propose an updated form of "pyramid" diet, which all schools could benefit from harmonized or create a tutorial project that focused on nutrition pyramid. The theoretical part is written in the form of a literature review. It deals with the analysis of books and information about dietary recommendations in the form of a "pyramid" nutrition and analyzing textbooks, Framework curriculum and educational programs for elementary school students due to the use of a "pyramid" nutrition. The empiric part uses quantitative and qualitative methods. It focuses on the analysis of school educational programs at selected schools and another part is dedicated to exploring how elementary school teachers use the "pyramid" nutrition in teaching and what students have knowledge of the food pyramid. A further empiric section devoted to a summary of the results of the work, conclusions and recommendations.
