User Interface for Pole-Dance Training Application

Goal of this project is making effective graphical user interface for learning pole dance. A sub-task is development of experimental application, by which the interface would be tested. The most important part of this thesis was finding out user's needs and making suitable components layout. Tests have shown that potential users are satisfied with the system. They can use this application for learning pole dance to improve outside of pole dance courses in the comfort of their homes.
Use of media in English lessons in Czechia

The aim of this diploma thesis, entitled "Use of Media in English Lessons in the Czech Republic" is to evaluate the use of old, classic and new media in teaching English in Czech primary and secondary schools, as well as in private lessons conducted by English language tutors. In the first part, the work introduces old and new media in the Czech education system and individual types of new media, presents historical media used for teaching English in our countries, provides an overview of the media used at the present time and, above all, introduces websites and applications developed for teaching English. The results of recent studies dedicated to the investigated issue are also presented. The research objective of the practical part is the analysis of the answers of 50 educators obtained using a questionnaire survey, answers to questions regarding the use of old and new media in the teaching of the English language, namely in the time before the coronavirus pandemic, in the time of distance learning during the pandemic and now, as well as qualitative research of the most used new media tools in English lessons. Interactive application in teaching mathematics at the second grade of primary school using Smart Lab and Smart Response technology.

The diploma thesis deals with the use of interactive educational applications in mathematics teaching at the 2nd level of primary schools. The theoretical part will describe current technologies for interactive teaching. Further, the work with the Smart Notebook environment, especially its components Smart Lab and Smart Response 2 will be described. Research of mathematics teachers' experience with Smart LAB and Smart Response 2 will be conducted. In the practical part will be selected created materials from freely accessible sources, which contain many mostly older materials, and will be performed their evaluation. Further, will be created a set of educational applications for teaching mathematics in the 6th and 7th years of elementary school. These applications will then be verified in my own continuous teaching practice.
Interactive whiteboard in teaching second grade of elementary school

The diploma thesis focuses on support of teaching in chosen subjects in the second year of elementary school using interactive white boards with new technology SMART lab. It is focused on evaluation of publicly available interactive teaching portal applications, which occurre in high numbers, however they are obsoled or inappropriately created. Subsequently, the thesis includes a research which pays attention to the usage of the interactive white boards in chosen subjects in the second year of elementary schools located in Vysočina region. The main aim is to ascertain knowledge of teachers when using this technology. The examined subjects were chosen of the result of the questionnaire survey which was sent to teachers from the first grade of the elementary school.
The Use of the Touchscreen Technologies in German Language Teaching

This thesis deals with the use of mobile touch technologies in German language teaching. The theoretical part of the work collects basic facts and knowledge about mobile touch devices, which are important as a didactic tool. Furthermore, the work on the theoretical level deals with information on teaching applications and teaching methods in which these touch technologies can be used. The Practical part of the work is devoted to the results of the research survey, namely the questionnaire research survey and the results from a sample lesson. The questionnaire survey revealed that mobile touch technologies are not widely distributed in schools and are not widely used during lessons. This thesis seeks to give readers a comprehensive description of the possibilities of didactic and methodical use of mobile touch devices in the teaching of German language.
User Interface for Application for Learning Czech Language

The goal of this thesis is to create an efficient graphical user interface for learning Czech language for foreigners. The approach of this work to the tuition of Czech language is different than that used for Czech children at schools. The most important part of the work was discovering needs of users and creating a suitable concept. The implementations of aforementioned application are described and, in the end, a description of an experiment with this application is described. The resulting application is web-based, available at http://czech-online.cz and it is ready for further expansion by new information sources.
