Improvement of manufacturing technology of flange
Dvořák, Jakub ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on improvement of the existing technology of the flange part in cooperation with the company Znojemské strojírny, s r.o. The theoretical part describes the technologies used in machining of the component. Subsequently, cutting materials and aluminum alloys are dealt with. A detailed analysis of the existing technology is performed in the practical part of the thesis followed by rationalization of the production process, which was carried out with respect to time and financial savings. A new technological procedure is developed after the improvement of the current production process. Finally, a technical-economic evaluation of the design improvement process is carried out.
Production of Components with a Combination of Different Technological Processes
Borek, Vojtěch ; Strejček, Jan (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The objective of this bachelor’s thesis is to design production of the part with use of several technological processes. Solved project is extractor of steering ball joints for cars. The most important sections of bachelor’s thesis are: description of used technologies, real production of the part in company and evaluation of the results according to different aspects.
Design of threading head with automatic reversing
Žebrák, Matěj ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of reversing tapping head. The thesis is divided into two parts. First part is devoted to an overview of technologies for the thread producing focusing to tapping and research in field of tapping heads. Second part contains design of reversing tapping head including the necessary calculations.
Milling of internal threads in Bosch injection unit bodies
Krčál, Petr ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Humár, Anton (advisor)
At the beginning of this diploma thesis I describe the production of different types of threads (with special emphasis on the production of internal threads), then I discuss different types of application of abrasion resistant coating by PVD and CVD, I describe their main advantages and disadvantages. Further, this diploma thesis explains particular mechanisms and forms of tool wear on tool with coating. In the second part of this diploma thesis the analysis of the current status of the production of internal threads in the Rail (high-pressure chamber) is made. In the last part I compare six different threads cutters by the use of a scanning electron microscope
Production of threads with taps
Juránek, Martin ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with the issue of production threads with taps. The introduction of th work briefly describes the use of thread in machine-building, thread geometry and basic types of threads. The work goes on to describe the methods tapping and thread control function. The work also deals with the description of types of taps, tool materials and the description of the three most used types of coating in taps. The experimental part adresses the question of whether the thicker layerof the TiN coat leads to an extension of the tool life. Two types of taps were used in the experiment. One type of taps had a coating thickness of 3-4 m and the other had coating thickness of 5-6 m. The experiment included measuring of time-dependent torque. The measured data were processed and subsequently evaluated whether the thicker coating layer resulted in reduced tool wear and increased tool life.
Technology design for screw connection for extreme loads
Václavek, Jan ; Trčka, Tomáš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Screw connections are a commonly used method of joining two or more components that are loaded with different types of loads during their operation. Screw connections are in some cases extremely stressed. The topic of the bachelor thesis is the introduction of potential types of extreme load on a screw connection and acquaintance with a specific case of an extremely stressed screw connection. A design of the production process is created for the discussed case and the manufactured components are evaluated in terms of assembly and service life.
High-Speed Steel Taps and their Uses
Něnička, Filip ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
Characteristics of high speed steels. Description of production, chemist and heat threatment of high speed steels. Characteristics of thread produce methods and tools. Description of thread turning, milling, grinding, cutting and forming. High speed taps in product range of chosen tool manufacturers.
Machining threading holes with cutting operation and shaping.
Poláčková, Naděžda ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Project made within the scope of bachelor study in branch Manufacturing technology. It presents suggestion of the technology of the pruduction of threading holes in thin-walled profiles. They are considered two technologies for the maschining of threading holes in profiles, respectively a cutting operation versus shaping on the base of a friction heat.
Production of threads for consumer goods
Slováček, Dominik ; Varhaník, Matúš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the requirements for precision and the production of threads. The aim is to introduce the issue of threads and the use of cutting and non-cutting threading. At the end of the thesis, a specific method is applied in the production of the component.
