Professional text in pedagogical practice at the second level of primary school

The bachelor thesis titled "Professional Practise at the Second Level of Primary School" delves into the topic of professional writing style in textbooks for primary school students. The theoretical segment introduces the Czech education system's relevant terminology and strategic documentation. The practical part of the research employs the QuitaUp appliation, a Czech National Corpus portal component, to analyse fundamental sylometric indicators of a specific type of next from textbooks.
The Role of Understanding in Latin Rhetoric

The thesis deals with understanding in the rhetorical art of Marcus Fabius Quintilianus, Marcus Tullius Cicero, and the author of the Rhetorica ad Herennium, how they understood their art and how they took into account comprehension on the part of the listener. The starting point of the investigation is phenomenological. It is based on Martin Heidegger's definition of the phenomenon of interpretation from Being and Time. The structure of practical interpretation and the fore-structures in which each interpretation is grounded are traced in theoretical texts of rhetorical art. This allows for a deeper analysis of the understanding that speakers mention and for capturing understanding even where they are not explicitly thematized. The analysis of the texts is divided into two parts. The first deals with understanding on the part of the speaker. The connection between the practical interpretation of rhetoric and the convergence of Roman rhetorical art and philosophy is shown. The second analytical section is devoted primarily to the listener's understanding, the connection of interpretation to attunement and proof. It traces the role that understanding plays in what takes place between the speaker, his adversary, and the listener, and how the listener should understand what is being used against him...
Industrial Revolution: efficiency of the project teaching compared to lecture method

The thesis is aimed at two different teaching methods, which are compared not only from the viewpoint of their positives and negatives, but also their effectiveness is valuated. One thematic unit from the history curriculum at lower-secondary school is chosen and two different methods are applied, one is based on lecture method, the other one involves project teaching. The effectiveness of the methods is ascertained on the basis of applying these methods in two teaching classes of elementary school. The common thematic unit is Industrial Revolution. According to the number of points every pupil achieves in the didactical test, the class with project teaching turned out better, however the difference was not so prominent. Important is that the effectiveness of both methods cannot be measured based only on number of obtained points. For this reason the author uses another evaluation of methods based on the Bloom's Taxonomy of educational objectives. By analysing the pupil's answers it was ascertained, that the pupils using the project teaching achieved (apart from factual knowledge) also the procedural and conceptual knowledge, which was found in their answer formulations. Speech of the Tourist Guide

This work deals with speech of the tourist guide from the point of view of individual linguistics levels. This topic was chosen because the author of this work studied tourism at secondary school and she has personal experience with the job of tourist guide. Second reason is the fact that this topic has not been described in details yet. Beside the activity of tourist guide and his/her nonverbal communication, this work deals with his/her speech from the point of view of five linguistics levels - phonetic/phonological, morphological, lexical, syntactic and stylistic one. For their analysis four video-records were used. There is real speech of four tourist guides at castles on these videos. The result of this work is the formulation of specific features of speech of the tourist guide. There are several points added to these features. These points are about recommendation for each tourist guide and his/her right and effective speech.
Jephthah (Jdg 11:29-40) - Explanation and Interpretation of a Particular Biblical Text

This thesis focuses on exegesis and interpretation of Judges 11, 29-40. Main method used in this thesis is narrative analysis, via which I investigate and interpret the chosen text as one story unit in its contemporal form. I focus on the course of action, how and with whom the characters act and what is the meaning of these in the whole narrative. I examine the structure of the text, because it's essential for the story told. I examine the context of the chosen text as well, because it's in the middle of broader narrative about Jephthah, of the book of Judges and of the Old Testament. Behavior and actions of characters, as well as facts used in the story, may have different meanings, which may not be apparent from the text itself. The aim of this thesis is to find one or several interpratiations, which will be based in the text itself and its context as much as possible. That will aslo enable me to deal with other intepratations. In the conclusion, I will shortly speak about text's influence on arts and present several themes for homiletic or pastoral use, which the story presents and contents.
Psalm 118: Exegesis and Interpretation

The thesis Psalm 118: Exegesis and Interpretation deals with the exegesis of a biblical text Psalm 118 (LXX 117). It approaches the psalm from various perspectives (both synchronic and diachronic) and giving compact exegesis. Thus the first focus of the thesis is the text itself, its different variants and its conceivable translation. Then, there is the stylistic-poetic analysis showing stylistic and poetic elements and also the connections between expressions of the psalm. Thus it is possible to understand the logic flow of the text, its structure. Then the thesis determines the genre of the psalm in order to make clear in what way and form the psalm expresses itself. Thanks to that it is possible to do more elaborate exegesis of several motives and poetic images that can be found in the text. Another perspective of the exegesis of the psalm is to consider its musical denotation. Next part is concerned by how the text fits within the context of the Psalter and the Hebrew bible and also the outline of its basic ways in its history of influence.

Interpretation of multilingual legal texts

This thesis deals with the possibilities of interpretation of legal texts au- thentic in more than one language and attempts to analyze the approaches applicable as a possible solution of contradictions between various langu- age versions. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is an intro- duction to the issue. There is just roughly outlined the reason for the exis- tence of multilingual legal texts and there is also defined the scope of the following chapters. The second chapter is dedicated to various methods of interpretation, distinct by legal doctrine. With regard to the topic of the thesis, the inter- pretive methods are divided into two groups with respect to the approach of finding the meaning of legal norms and the content of the regulation. The first section deals with methods based on the text of the legal norm. These are linguistic, logical and systematic method. The second section describes the methods based on the purpose and significance of the treatment.
