Modeling of Exhaust Manifold for Turbocharged Engine
Fanta, Tomáš ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This work describes different structural designs of the exhaust manifold and creation of parametric models of exhaust downpipes of supercharged engine 1,4 TSI. Next, the study deals with exhaust manifold’s materials and with present basic principles of thermodynamic and hydrodynamic. Then two parametric models were modelled in Solidworks software. First model was made according to existing exhaust manifold of engine 1,4 TSI. It was symmetrical model (collector in the axis). For second parametric model the collector was moved in horizontal direction, so this model is asymmetrical. Both models were evaluated considering their complexity of structural design and their manufacturing claims. Finally the possibility of CFD analysis for evaluation of parametric models was studied.
Exhaust Manifold for 600ccm Engine
Řezáč, Vojtěch ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
In this bachelor’s thesis I am comparing affect of different exhaust mufflers on parameters of Yamaha FZ6 Fazer’s motorcycle engine. I am focusing on power, torque, volumetric efficiency, brake measure effective pressure and brake-specific fuel consumption. Theese data were taken from simulations made in special software. Theese parameters are measured for three types of exhaust mufflers, original, tuned by Devil company with catalytic converter and without catalytic converter. Result of this thesis is to compare simulated data for two types of motorcycle riders, one who prefers touring style of riding and for one who prefers sport style of riding

Optimisation of Exhaust Drains Shape
Navrátil, Dušan ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
Multiobjective optimization system of exhaust manifold shapes including initial design has been developed. Space of possible solutions is explored by an evolutionary algorithm. Evaluation of exhaust drains shape comes  from drains length and sum of arc angles. Drains mustn't interfere in surrounding parts. System is tested on set of input data originated from practice. Further, performance of proposed evolutionary algorithm is evaluated.
