Experiential education and its place in the educational and curriculum program at secondary school

The topic of the diploma thesis is experiential pedagogy and its place in the educational programme of secondary schools. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts of experiential pedagogy, the educational process, teaching strategies of experiential pedagogy, types and prevention of risky behaviour. The research part is focused on creating and subsequent implementation of an experiential adaptation course. The survey involved 139 respondents from group 1 and 232 respondents in group 2. Data were collected using a modified version of the B-3 questionnaire. The aim of the research was to find out whether the experiential adaptation course influences the perception of one's own position in the classroom, the quality of the team and the perception of feelings of security, friendship, cooperation, trust and tolerance. The hypotheses focused on class position and team quality were not confirmed, there was no significant difference between the compared groups. On the contrary, the hypothesis focused on feelings in the classroom was statistically confirmed. The research study showed that the experiential adaptation course mainly affects feelings in the classroom.

Theme: Child's life in a foster care This Bachelor Paper deals with the points at issue of a foster care, especially living together of foster parents and a child with educational problems taken into care. The goal of this Bachelor Paper is to introduce problems of foster care and show a real case of a child with educational problems and show how this situation is solved in this family. The Paper should provide an answer to what factors could affect educational problems of the child. The Paper is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical ones. The theoretical part is devoted to a description and history of foster care forms in the Czech Republic. It also deals with living together - its preparation, making relations, etc. and subsequent living together - a child's in a foster family development, bringing up, relationships, surroundings, etc. In the empirical part there is a qualitatively focused research in a form of case Study, where an unstandardized interview, an observation and a study and analysis of documents are a tool of data collection. Parents´ opinions on preschool children education in the context of the problems of educational styles

This thesis deals with the way of education of preschool children in the family in the context of the issue of educational styles. The theoretical part explains basic concepts of the topic and also characterizes the specifics of preschool developmental period, including needs of preschool children and gives a picture of the contemporary family. The next part focuses on psychological aspects of educational methods issues on educational styles and their influence on the personality development of the child. The main goal of the practical part, is to insight into the parent's attitude to education and compare these attitudes with opinions of classroom teachers in kindergarten on the example of seven children from different family environment.
Family, family upbringing, family functions, malfunctions and its impact on child?s development.

The theoretical part of the present bachelor thesis deals with the characteristics of a family, its development, types and functions as well as with upbringing, system of rules and the impact of the upbringing on child?s development. Rights of the child, fundamental bills and the Convention on the Rights of the Child are also commented upon. In the methodological part of the thesis, individual methods and strategies of the empirical part of the work are described as well as the technique of selection of sample families and the criteria of categorizing of the families into individual groups. The empirical part of the thesis includes an analysis of the SPOD official documents. Individual instances of functional, problematic, dysfunctional and afunctional families are described. More specifically, the thesis comments upon the development of each such family, its type, system of rules and their type , fulfilment of basic functions, completeness of the family and its impact on the development and behaviour of the children. In the appendix, numbers of the SPOD curatorial files from the years 2003 ? 20011 in bar charts are attached for comparison as well as the number of the minors with upbringing issues from the years 2003 ? 2011 and a pie chart overview of the number of children and minors with upbringing issues. Also attached are four tables summarizing individual above mentioned families, their functions, types, system of rules they use and their impact on the child behaviour and development.
Educational Methods Used in Salesian Youth Centres in the Czech Republic

The thesis deals with educational methods as a central element of the educational process as well as one of the original concepts of work in the Salesian youth centres from the standpoint of leisure studies. It is based on a qualitative research conceived as a content analysis of project documents of eight chosen youth centres. In the introduction, the concepts used are delimited, the problematics of Salesian youth centres in the Czech Republic and of educational methods practised there is theoretically presented. In the second part, the object, methods, process and results of the research are described. The other three parts are a synthesis of the knowledge gained in the analysis of the texts, complemented with information from other documents. These three parts describe thoroughly the concepts of education in Salesian youth centres (subjects, objectives, means, organisation forms and methods of education). In the crucial fifth part, treating educational methods, the lack of due attention to the educational methods in the examined documents is noticed.
The teaching and educational activities of a physical education teacher used with pupils - and their using in the physical education lessons in basic schools in the České Budějovice region

The theme of diploma thesis concerning teaching and educational activities of a physical education teacher is very extensive. It comprises a great number of phenomena. For this reason this diploma thesis only concentrates on the teaching and educational methods that physical education teachers use in basic schools in the České Budějovice region. The diploma thesis mainly deals with quantitative illustration of observed phenomena. We applied a short-term observation method to determine the results. The research was executed in 7 basic schools and 20 teachers and 40 physical education classes were observed. The results were presented in graphs and tables.
