The Art of Propaganda. The Role of Ideology in the Era of Czechoslovak Normalization and Post-Communist Culture.

This thesis focuses on issue of relationship between propaganda and art. At first, the relationship is theoretically outlined and then tools of ideology imprinting into cultural production are analyzed. There is a comparison between Era of Czechoslovak Normalization and Post-communism (mainly in movie production). The results of the comparison are differences and similarities in which general manifestations of manipulation efforts, formation of opinion and mind of recipients can be seen.
Contemporary trends in the field of mirror neurons

This bachelor thesis will discuss the extensive area of mirror neurons. Conception of the thesis is rather theoretical; the thesis is led like a survey study and also contains a research from a variety of foreign languages sources. The thesis provides an insight into the solid subject of mirror neurons and their psychological aspects. These aspects deal with the theory of the mirror neurons in a context of a mother child relations, language and speech, cultural differences, emotions and imitation. Next is the chapter about psychotherapy. The other implications of this thesis are clinical applications that explain selected mental and neurological disorders and their therapeutic uses. The thesis will then follow a treatise, which explains principles of art at a neuropsychological base. As well, there will be a chapter focusing on the activation of the mirror neurons at a consumer individual, which describes the newly developing area of neuroeconomics. Next part of the thesis describes the role of the mirror neurons in the area of sports.
Ethical concept in Nick Cave's literary world

The bachelor thesis is a philosophical reflection of ethical aspects of Nick Cave's literary world. Particularly from the theological point of view, the author of thesis considers a possibility of a coherent ethical concept formation of the Cave's literary world, which is not in a contradiction with behaviour of Cave's characters regarding the moments of moral decision-making. As a key argument for the uneasiness to form any coherent ethical concept, is considered to be Cave's preference of morality and refusing morals in the concept which is being presented. The author suggests the hypothesis of the unitary nature of conscience of Cave's characters as a possible ethical concept of the Cave's literary world.
Heavy metal subculture, followers of devils voice?

The work deals with the heavy metal subculture. In the first part it introduces the term, history of heavy metal, heavy metal sub-genres, social roles in the subcul-ture (who is band member, headbanger, groupie, etc.) and collective dances which are taking part in concerts of heavy metal bands. The second part is devoted to con-troversial topics connected to heavy metal like: gender, religion, violence, death, drugs and alcohol. Next it describes relationship between heavy metal subculture and society. The subject of the last part is heavy metal lyrics which are very often controversial and which sometimes can be named like health harmful.
Christian Art in the work of The Art group
KLADIVOVÁ, Hana
The thesis deals with the working possibilities for the young school kids in the arts group. The goal is to teach the kids to recognize the arts and cultivate their sensitivity for the art in harmony with the goals of The General Educational Program for the basic education. It is offered to recognize the arts in historical, artistic and ethical context based on the Christian Arts. Besides the explanation of the basic terms, which are important for the work with the works of art in the Arts group, there is described the development of the Christian arts from the beginning of Christianity, through Medieval times and the Renaissance to the present in the context of the specific period. Further there are described the young school kids and the activities of the group with a definition of its main goals. The following goals of the arts group are emphasized: the development of the sensitivity for the art, the understanding of the theme of the piece of art and work with it, the real results of the work with the piece of art for instance different tasks on the topics of works of art.
South-Bohemian theatre - the phenomenon of leisure time

Point of this bachelor thesis was to introduce the history and structure of South-bohemian theatre, especially its function and connection to leisure time of children, youth and adults. This introduction should take place through education, leisure time, also in socialization process and by gaining the knowledge of the culture, the subject was born in. The connection of leisure time and the art is very significant. It enriches the person in all aspects of his experiences and perceptions. Although its very important to teach the subject how to approach and observe art. Theatre is a syncretic environment in which the musical, dramatic and artistic fields are tightly connected. Theatre is one of the nonviolent forms of how to spend the leisure time and simple way to aesthetic education.
The market of contemporary fine art

This thesis "The market of contemporary fine art" explores the arts marketing processes of comparable commercial galleries, aimed at young Czech art. The theoretical part focuses on arts marketing and its application in the art scene. The practical part focuses on the analysis of individual marketing activities with the help of expert interviews, and then uses a competitive analysis to contrast the marketing methods of the Dvorak sec contemporary art galleries. The aim of this work is to compare and to consider the individual marketing processes of competitive galleries in the marketplace of contemporary art.
Rodin museum in Paris and its impact on cultural tourism in France

The present thesis treats the importance of a particular cultural institution, i.e. Rodin museum, for cultural tourism in France. In the theoretical part, it deals with cultural tourism in general, tourism and culture in France, and finally it associates those two in cultural tourism in France. Then it concentrates on the tourism of Paris. In the practical part, a deep analysis of Rodin museum is elaborated. All discovered facts were used to compose a SWOT analysis and recommendations.
Can Graphic Design Be Art?

The student in his bachelor thesis will examine a relationship between artifacts of graphic design and (visual) art, respectively search for parallels between the two types of creation. He will try to define the concept of graphic design and compare the assessment and reviews of how is it normally accesses to works of art. He will suggest that graphic design can become a work of art and he will try to identify conditions under which it occurs. He also wants to point out the moments when the poster, logo, etc., can cause an emotional experience and motivate discussions very close to those that we associate with high art, and it´s not over that its mission is to promote something, but because that this is so.
Dramaturgy as an approach to the world.

The present work aims at analysing selected social and cultural phenomena and tracing their impact on dramaturgy. For the present purposes dramaturgy is understood in two ways: firstly, as a practical theatre activity; secondly - and most importantly, in a wider sense as a discipline of artistic research that provides the chaos of the global world with important categorization and interpretation functions.
