Design of sheet bender
Kazda, Tomáš ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of a sheet metal bending machine, which is intended for home workshops, or common craft operations. The first part of the thesis contains a overview of similar machines, that are currently available in the shops. In the second part of the thesis was selected the most optimal design, which arose from the three conceptual designs. Each design was rated and on the basis of a multi-criteria analysis were selected the best one. Final design were processed to the 3D model, which have a technical calculations and technical drawings too. After this were made a economic calculations of a final design, including a comparison with a selected models from the research part of this thesis.
Energy machines for forming technologies
Koukal, Vojtěch ; Varjan, Matúš (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The bachelor thesis provides characterization of energy machines, basic division and a brief overview of the various types of energy machines used in metal forming. Used machines are characterized in this thesis. Basic description and principle with examples of practical usage are stated for each type of energy machines.
Power machines for forming technologies
Sejkora, Petr ; Varjan, Matúš (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The bachelor thesis provides characterization of power machines, basic division and a brief overview of the various types of force machines used in metal forming. Used machines are characterized in this thesis. Basic description and principle with examples of practical usage are stated for each type of power machines.
Design of safety switch for shaping machine
Kokavec, Miroslav ; Blecha, Radim (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with design of safety switch for shaping machines. It searches for available safety switches suitable for shaping machines. The research describes construction and function of safety switch and analyses requirements for harmonized safety standards. At the end of the thesis is presented design for construction of safety switch.
Hydroforming machine for non-ferrous material tubes
Ocelík, Jakub ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
Master`s thesis deals with unusual high-pressure-fluid forming technology – hydroforming. There are discussed factors, which are affecting forming process, and there are made conclusion of it for machine design process. There is also made an evaluation of tube hydroforming technology in nowadays. The objective of thesis is to design new forming machine for tube hydroforming and for use in bicycle frames design. The machine is to be determined for manufacturing series up to 1000 pieces. Based on calculations and discussion of hydroforming technology, the best design solution is chosen. Machine is designed as modular conception with pressure multiplication of forming fluid right in die cavity. There is no need to use high pressure pump for forming fluid, used in common machines for tube hydroforming. This leads to cost reduction and so the objective of thesis is accomplished.
The process of decompression in hydraulic systems of forming machines
Havelka, Milan ; Habán, Vladimír (referee) ; Pochylý, František (advisor)
This thesis consists of two main parts. The first part is a theoretical analysis, or a literary research, it is focused on the physical properties of the fluid, which have direct impact on the decompression. The aim of the second part is to evaluate the measurement of the forging valve and subsequently simulate the issue by means of CFD. The first simulations were performed for the maximal valve stroke and used for the CFD solver setup calibration. The subsequent analyses dealt with possible openings of the valve. In the final chapter the theoretical impact of the liquid compressibility and of the undissolved air is discussed. The results of the thesis can prove useful for the new valve setting in hydraulic circuit or for possible geometry modification.
