Touristification in Terezín

Touristification in Terezín Abstract This bachelor thesis focuses on the mutual relationship between tourism and the city of Terezín. Its aim is to identify impacts of tourism on the locality and its residents. But also to find out which main actors are influencing local tourism the most and how. The first part of the thesis is devoted to theoretical background of these problems. In particular to urban and dark tourism and touristification. In the next part, it presents the studied locality and local tourism in detail and analyzes secondary data sources. The main output of this thesis is an analysis of a functional usage of buildings and their state. Both research results are shown be maps. The second important part are controlled interviews with main local tourist actors and brief informal interviews with residents and visitors. Final suggestions for improving the tourist infrastructure and achieving a sustainable development of Terezín are its main contributions. The impacts of tourism on Kutna Hora's historical centre

The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the impacts of tourism on the historical centre of Kutna Hora. Several methods have been used to reach this aim. The statistical data has been analysed in order to develop an idea about the city and calculate measurable indicators of tourism influence. The main part of the thesis consists of the identification of tourist function in the historical centre, by mapping the current functions of houses and analysis of the accompanying effects of the touristification. Observation of the daily rhythm of the centre enriches the research with the composition of its users and the time dimension. The quality of site management and the impacts of tourism connected with the World Heritage List inscription are examined by evaluating targets of the management plan and exploration of UNESCO monitoring reports. Interviews with local residents of Kutna Hora investigate their own attitudes towards tourism in their town and verify the acquired findings. Effects and consequences of turistifacion in Teplice

This diploma thesis deals with effects and consequences of touristification in the spa town of Teplice. The aim of this work is the analysis of current state of Teplice's spa therapy and monitoring of functional changes in the town. The emphasis is placed on activities, relational links and the level of co- operation and attitudes of the main participants in the tourism in the town. An inseparable part is also an opinion poll (investigation) among local residents. The aim of this dissertation is, except for findings and an evaluation of effects of touristification in the area of interest, also the suggestion of steps leading to stabilization and improvement of the situation. The impact of turistification and decentralization of functions on the use of city centre of Třeboň

This diploma thesis deals with the impact of turistification and decentralization of functions on the use of city centre of Třeboň. The aim is to evaluate how changed the functional use of buildings in the city centre over the past 20 years, who visits the city centre in a variety of daily and yearly periods and whether there is depopulation of the city centre. It has been shown that in Třeboň grows mainly outer zone of the city, while in the city centre is a gradual loss of permanent residents. Over the past 20 years there has been a change in functional use of buildings in the city centre in favor of commercial functions and services for tourism. Due turistification and decentralization leads to depopulation of city centre primarily during out of the tourist season.
