This thesis deals with identifying differences in consumer behaviour at the wine market in different regions of the Czech Republic (South Moravian region, Ústecký region, Prague, Highlands region). Based on the results of survey were found the differences in consumer behaviour in these regions, noticeable differences were found between the Ústecký region and South Moravian region. There is a crucial lack of financial funds at Ústecký region. A positive finding is the preference of higher-quality wines and a willingness to pay more for quality wine in all regions. There was created special marketing mix of each region for those who stand on the supply side at the wine market in the Czech Republic.

Matějková, V. Consumer Behavior on the Wine Market in the Czech Republic. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2020. The Diploma thesis deals with the behavior of consumers aged 18-26 on the wine market in the Czech Republic. It includes an analysis of the wine industry, detailing the development of production and consumption of this commodity in the Czech Republic and comparing these indicators with the situation in selected countries of the European Union. The analysis of the behavior of a given segment of consumers and identification of preferences, habits and other factors that influence it makes up an essential part of the thesis. The performed analysis along with results from the survey provide data for suggested recommendations concerning marketing communication in the small winery sector in the Czech Republic.

The diploma thesis focuses on the identification of the factors that influence the wine market in the Czech Republic. Firstly, the current market situation is evaluated and the demand side, the supply side and the consumer price are modeled by means of econometric modeling. Regression analysis is used for modeling. The thesis also focuses on foreign trade, outlining the current situation, and calculates the statistical indices of two important countries of import and export of wine and, finally, identifies the factors that influence foreign trade.
Situation on the wine market in the Czech Republic

The thesis Situation on the wine market in the Czech Republic deals with the exploration of the current state of the viticulture and wine market in the Czech Republic concerning the indicators such as consumption and production of wine and wine trade. The main aim of the thesis is to determine the expected future development in these areas. The partial aim of the thesis is to predict the future development of wine tourism, which has a significant impact on the Czech winery and the wine market. The first chapter deals with a brief overview of the history of the Czech winery. The second chapter focuses on the analysis of the current situation of the Czech viticulture and the Czech wine market, which registered significant legislative changes after the accession of the Czech Republic to the EU in 2004. The third chapter concentrates on wine trade, examines the state and development of the import and export of wine from the Czech Republic. The fourth and final chapter of this thesis deals with the Czech viticulture, which is presented to the reader mainly through the Velkopavlovice wine-growing sub-region, one of the four wine-growing subregions of the wine-growing region Moravia. The chapter focuses on four specific wine-growing villages and together with them on four wineries. The last part of the thesis is an analysis of the respondents' answers to questions from the questionnaire, which was sent to ten Czech winemakers and wineries from four selected wine villages. Questions in the questionnaire relate to the areas that this work describes. The aim of the questionnaire survey is to find out what are the opinions of the individual respondents.

The objective of the thesis is evaluation and proposal of marketing and communication strategy of Znovín Znojmo. In the first part, I explain the theory of marketing and creation of marketing and communication strategy. In the second part, I analyze the Czech wine market as seen by both producers and consumers, and I introduce current trends. Furthermore, I analyze marketing activities of the company and its competitors and evaluate its current situation. Based on the identified issues, I propose new marketing and communication strategy.

This bachelor thesis identifies long-term trends on the beer and wine market in the Czech Republic. The paper describes main factors influencing demand for beer and wine, with emphasis on the excise tax analysis. The conclusions of this analysis are employed in further prediction of the beer and wine market development. The prediction is formed with respect to possible changes in the wine excise tax. Additionally, this work compares Czech and German beer market, as well as Czech and French wine market.

Abstract This study analyzes the viniculture and viticulture in the Czech Republic from the perspective of industry and predicts the outlook of Czech viniculture and viticulture until 2020. The paper is based on theoretical foundations and analytical methods especially SWOT and PEST analysis. It analyzes the agricultural policies of the European Union and its development until today. Findings from the development policy of the European Union are applied to the development potential of Czech viniculture and viticulture. Based on analysis of current state of wineries and vineyards in the Czech Republic it recommends basic directions of development of viniculture and viticulture. If the development does not deviate too much from the agricultural policy in the last decade, it can be expected that the conclusions of the paper will be as predicted.
