vi Abstract Title: A case report of orthotic and prosthetic care of a patient with a diagnosis of transtibial amputation of the tibia Aims: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to discuss in theoretical terms the individual aspects of the case report of a patient that led to transtibial amputation of the right leg. In the practical part, a description of the production of the primary equipment is presented. Methods: In the theoretical part, the professional framework of the problem is presented based on a literature search, knowledge from professional seminars and my practical experience. The practical part describes the course of the production of the first equipment, from the collection of the measuring materials, through the production of the stump bed, tests and adjustments, to the handover of the aid. This is followed by the experiment of fitting an individual with a calceotic aid to complement the compensatory aid. The practical part is documented verbally and photographically as it took place during my professional practice. Results: Too early production of a provisional bed cannot reflect the rapid volumetric changes of the stump and leads to the need to produce a new bed in a very short time frame. Petra Reckziegelová Title: Casuistic study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after transtibial amputation Objectives: The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to summarize the knowledge about amputation, possibilities of rehabilitation in patients with amputation and to elaborate a case report of a patient with amputation. Methods: The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with the issue of transtibial amputation. It contains basic information necessary for understanding the topic, knowledge from the field of prosthetics and rehabilitation. The special part consists of a case report of a patient diagnosed with unilateral transtibial amputation. The case report was prepared within the framework of continuous professional practice at the Rehabilitation Clinic Malvazinky. Results: As a result of physiotherapy care, the patient's condition improved. Conclusion: The set goals of the work were achieved. Quality of life of people after transtibial amputation

Title: Quality of life of people after transtibial amputation Objective: The aim of this thesis was to survey and assess the level of quality of life of adults after transtibial amputation. The aim was to get as much information as possible from the affected individuals through anonymous questionnaires. Two points of view were discussed. The first point of view was of personal satisfaction emerging from personal experiences, such as pain, sleep, orfor examplejob performance opportunities. The second point of view was of influence of another person, such as prosthetists, on people's quality of life. Methods: The bachelor thesis is conducted as an empirical quantitative research. The basis of the theoretical part is a literature research. In terms of methodology, a survey was applied. To gain the necessary data an anonymous questionnaire WHOQOL-BREF (short version) was used. This questionnaire inquires how the interviewee perceive their quality of life, health and other life areas. The questionnaire was distributed to prosthetic workplaces where employees purposefully handed these over to patients after transtibial amputation.
