Transition State Simulation of Combustion Engine
Forbelský, Antonín ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
Master's thesis focuses on the simulation engine transients. The model of single-cylinder engine was constructed in simulation software Lotus Engine Simulation. Then was made simulation of transients. The thesis try to describe the influence of moment of inertia of the engine, the engine starting speed and process of throttle opening during the transients. For all modes also compare two methods of fuel control.
Measuring system for laboratory generator unit
Pochop, Zbyněk ; Ptáček, Michal (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
This Master thesis deals with the measurement and description of the synchronous generator , which is located in laboratories. First, the thesis deals with the theory of synchronous machines. This is followed by a detailed description of the involvement of laboratory genetatory unit. Subsequently, the work deals with the measurement of basic parameters of the synchronous machine and also quite thoroughly devoted to displaying transients at various levels on the digital oscilloscope. The dissertation aims to compare theoretical ideas with the measured results. Finally, it is shown what could be measured next to the generator set.
Reducing transformer inrush
Zoufalý, Marek ; Bušov, Bohuslav (referee) ; Šimek, David (advisor)
In this thesis is described the function and design of the transformer designed on ferromagnetic core, composed of transformer sheets. It is explained a transient inrush current of the transformer. In this work is inserted voltage and current waveforms, designed printed circuit board, serving to reduce the inrush current.
Transitional motion analysis of the optically trapped particle in under-damped regime
Sűsserová, Martina ; Damková, Jana (referee) ; Harabiš, Vratislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the movement of optically trapped nanoparticles at low pressures and familiarizes with methods commonly used in these conditions. The practical part of this work was done in Matlab, where the undesirable signal interference was filtered out from the original data and their influence on the phase portraits of the acquired transients was analyzed. Furthermore, the damped oscillator parameters are obtained from the records of average trajectories and the distribution of position data during the transient compared with distribution of position data at stationary state by histograms.
Numerical Model of Engine Control Unit
Křepelka, Jan ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with issues of controlling the amount of fuel injected by the control unit. Model of four-cylinder engine and computational model of control unit were constructed in the simulation software Lotus Engine Simulation. Then was made model checking of the control unit by simulation two transients (acceleration and shifting). In conclusion was made application a created model on the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) and appropriately evaluated and processed the results of this simulation.
Confirmation of the Performance of Thermal Shock Test Chambers
Konupka, Richard ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with problematics of confirmation of temperature shock chamber and methodology for its successful implementation. Theoretical part deals with brief overview of environmental test chambers used for testing temperature and humidity changes on tested samples. Bachelor’s thesis also deals with analysis of methodology for confirmation of temperature chambers according to the technical standard which will be partially used for methodology proposal of temperature shock chamber. Practical part of the thesis is gradually devoted to the measurement procedure proposal, where is discussed chosen temperature sensors and fixture of sensors in the chamber. Also proposed procedure of confirmation is shown, described measurements, calculation procedures, uncertainty estimations and at the end of the thesis are discussed results.

Frequency and Transient Responses Based on Differential Equations
Turoňová, Lenka ; Kunovský, Jiří (referee) ; Šátek, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the investigation of amplitude and phase frequency responses of linear electrical circuits. It compares classical methods of investigation using a symbolic-complex method with investigation using differential equations. For graphical representation of the responses in the case of the symbolic-complex method there was used for demonstration of examples programs MATLAB and Maple. The aim of this work was also to create graphical user interface over TKSL/C, which allows input of differential equations and plotting amplitude and phase frequency responses.
