The bachelor's thesis deals with the study of passage contract now at Commscope Inc. It consists of a theoretical part, which explains the main concepts, analytical part, where is analysed the current passage contract now and concrete proposals, which are designed to suggest improvements that will help make passage contract more effective, optimal and speed it up due to reduce delivery time to the end costumer.

Transformation of a limited liability company into a joint-stock company

This thesis characterizes the main factors influencing the transformation of limited liability company into a joint stock company. The main aim of this work is to describe the whole process of transformation, approach possible ways of transforming, specify the process of changing the legal form from limited liability company and to analyze the real business environment using questionnaire and structured interview with owner of the joint stock company. Last but not least, the possibilities of transformation in the Czech Republic and Germany are being compared. Empirical results show that many companies undergoes a transformation process because their parent company requires it. Also many companies want to find new financial resources. According to the results, respondents perceive the Transformation Act as very good and do not find any fundamental problems. This work also evaluate valuations methods. Last, but not least, this thesis offers a view of issuing new shares as well as a statistical evaluation of the data obtained, which evaluates the registered capital and newly issued shares.

Concept of Privatization and Restructuring by the Treuhandanstalt, discourse about Mr. Rohwedder and Mrs. Breuel

The thesis "Concept of Privatization and Restructuring by the Treuhandanstalt, discourse about Mr. Rohwedder and Mrs. Breuel" deals with the creation of the Eastern German privatization agency (THA). Further, the two major tasks of the institute, privatization and reorganization of the national wealth of the GDR, are being analyzed. After the "Treuhandgesetz" (privatization law) had been enforced, the THA soon started to sell companies out of their portfolio. Other companies needed to be shut down and people started to lose their employment. This course of action was heavily criticized by the political opposition as well as the Eastern German people, who were longing for increased wealth. In consequence, the THA started to shift its focus from privatization to reorganization. The controversy surrounding the THA in the middle of the reunification process of Germany is shown by the assassination of Mr. Rohwedder by the terrorist organization RAF. The net financial outcome after four years of management by the THA is a deficit of 200 billion DM.

Personal expirience of transsexuals with the process of gender transformation

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of gender identity disorders, specifically transsexualism. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts that are essential for understanding the whole issue and which are used throughout the thesis. It includes a total of five chapters to the topic of transsexuality in terms of psychology and legislation. The first chapter briefly defines the term transsexuality from the perspective of various experts and professional publications, it is devoted to the history and etiology of transsexuality. The second chapter discusses gender identity and factors that may influence the development of identity. The third chapter deals with the process of gender transformation in transsexual subjects from the very beginning of treatment to its termination. The fourth chapter deals with partnership, sexuality and adaptation of transsexual individuals. The fifth chapter looks at transsexuality from the legislative point of view, defines the laws that deal with the issue of transsexualism. The empirical part is devoted to the realized research focused on own experience with coming out, process of gender transformation, environment reactions and partnership relations. Credit Unions as an Element of the Modern Czech Financial System

Credit unions, original pioneer of self-help financing idea, have become one of the functional components of modern financial sector. During their development, they went through many changes due to the political and economical conditions in Czech Republic. Among others, credit unions have also experienced period of bankruptcies and loss of public trust. However they managed to maintain their unique position as well as the features and for that they deserve our interest. The thesis focuses on the circumstances that affected the credit union sector development. The practical part addresses Fio -- the former credit union. Financial analysis and the process of Fio's transformation from the credit union to the bank is described.

Economic development in Slovakia after the split of Czechoslovakia

The work is focused on the economic development of Slovakia after the split of Czechoslovakia in the aftermath of the events after 1989. Economy development of Slovakia was mainly influenced by the process of transition from centrally planned to a market economy, the accession of Slovakia to the EU and the euro area. These factors are described in the first and second part. The third part of the work captures the impact of these processes on the development of basic macroeconomic indicators.
