Darkmarket Forensics

Overlay networks (like Tor or I2P) create a suitable environment for criminality to thrive on the Internet. Dark marketplaces (a.k.a. cryptomarkets) are one such example of criminal activities. They act as an intermediary in the trade of illegal goods and services. This project focuses on forensic analysis of such web services and subsequent extraction of non-trivial information about the realised orders and payments from selected marketplaces. The main goal is to pinpoint the time interval when an order has been completed on selected marketplaces and its following correlation with cryptocurrency blockchains. The implemented program provides fully automated non-stop monitoring of selected cryptomarkets. That, under certain conditions, allows detection of realised purchases, detailed product and vendor monitoring and collection of various meta-data entries. Law enforcement agencies can use acquired data as support evidence regarding the operation of selected cryptomarkets and their vendors. The obtained information can also indicate current trends in products supply and demand.

Automatic System for Options Trading

Options are becoming very popular tool for traders. In this theses I will first explain basic principles of markets, options, stocks and other relevant topics. Then I will perform research of brokers, who are working within Czech Republic and allow options trading. After that I will come up with various trading strategies for trading options, implement an environment for backtesting said strategies and analyse them. Finally I will implement an application for automated trading based on those strategies.

Taxation of Athlete's Income

The bachelor thesis Taxation of Athlete’s Income deals with the issue of the status of athletes in Czech law and taxation of their income from sports activities. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts from the field of sport and taxes related to the issue. In the analytical part, three model examples are presented, which show the tax burden of an athlete in different tax regimes. The examples focus on both the team and individual athlete. In the next section, the examples are compared with a different tax option and the application of expenses. In the conclusion, the legal status of the athlete is assessed, the calculations are also evaluated.

The Proposal of Business Plan for the Foundation of a Florist's Shop

Bachelor thesis is the business plan for establishment of flower shop. The business object is the sale of the flowers and small gifts. The thesis is divided into three parts – theoretical, analytical and proposal. Theoretical resources of thesis are described in the first part. The second part is analytical and market analysis is described in this part. The proposal is a self-treatment plan. This part comes out from theoretical and legislative business findings and is the reaction on market needs found out from the market analysis. Based on the financial plan the potential success of the proposed business is rated here.

The bachelor thesis deals with the taxation of the income of an individual who, on the basis of a trade license, is self-employed. At the same time, he has entered into an employment relationship, so the performance of an independent activity is ancillary and not the main activity. The aim of the thesis is to optimize the tax liability of this self-employed person and to determinate the appropriate form of business.

There are analyzes necessary for establishment of the enterprise in the next part. The practical part embraces the preparation of the business plan.

The thesis discusses the company tradesman doing business in the manufacturing market. Tradesman operates handicraft production, joinery, modeling. The thesis monitors the position of the entrepreneur due to market competition. Based on the analysis suggests tradesman how to improve his position in the competition. The thesis offers specific measures to improve business competitiveness.
