Analysis of a Selected Municipality Using Time Series

This bachelor thesis deals with the budget economy analysis of the township Nezamyslice and selected financial indicators in the period of 2007–2016. Predictions are made for selected indicators for the following two years, which are based on the results of the analyses and the application of statistical methods of time series and regression analysis. Subsequently, proposals are made to improve the financial situation of the township based on the detected values.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of company´s performance using the economic ratios and time series. Firstly it was created the easily operating application - maplet, due to the Maple computer system, for the corresponding calculation and graphical projection. The thesis contains the proposals and suggestions for the improvement of financial company´s situation, what is included in the calculations and projections mentioned and they can next be used for the changes of planned strategies in future.

Analysis of Wages and Salaries in the Pardubice Region

This bachelor thesis deals with the study of changes in income of the economically active population in the given region. The main aim of the thesis is to analyze the wage and salary sphere of the population in the Pardubice region and to compare the size of wages and salaries by category. These include age groups, gender, highest education and type of profession. The partial aim is to predict the evolution of hourly earnings using appropriately selected statistical methods. The main benefit of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of the size of the personal income in the Pardubice region for 2015 and 2016.

Statistical Analysis of Deaths for Traffic Accidents by Regions of the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of causes of deaths by regions of the Czech Republic focusing on traffic accidents. The aim of this thesis is to compare the causes of death using the rate of deaths per 100 000 population in one year intervals. With these rates regions can be compared with each other though each region has a different number of inhabitants. Further thesis will focus on forecast of time series, namely the forecast of calculated death rates using exponential smoothing - Brown's exponential smoothing, Brown (double) linear exponential smoothing and Holt's linear exponential smoothing. From these smoothings is chosen exactly that which has the smallest residual sum of squares or RSS for individual rate of deaths in each region and on a selective basis for individual regions is prepared the forecast.

Statistical analysis of the development of the fecundity and fertility in the Czech Republic and the European Union

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of demographic development of fecundity and fertility in the Czech Republic and European Union. The total fertility rate and crude birth rate are the main demographic data this bachelor thesis is based on. The aim of the thesis is to determine the most suitable trend function for the number of all births in Czech Republic from 2003 to 2013. Secondary purpose of this bachelor thesis is to predict the number of all birth up until the year 2015.The results of the survey carried out in this bachelor thesis are hoped to be helpful to the experts dealing with the topic of the demographic development of fecundity and fertility.
