The objective of this bachelor's thesis was acquaint oneself with technologies to develop and run information systems. The practical part of this work is to develop information system Project Time tracker, which enables to monitor time that developers spend on project. The task of system is to gather entries about developer's work on project, process data and provide information about project progress and developer's outcomes.

A Reading Diary Application

Development of information technology enables us to take notes of all kind in more comfortable, electronic way than as it was in written form. Improvement can be seen for example in case of reading diaries which were mostly hand-written when we first got in touch with them in elementary school. This Bachelor's thesis is focusing on creating an application suitable for writing a personal reading diary. Application will enable user to fill own literary analysis, track reading time of books or add books to user's individual lists which will represent shelves as known from libraries. Users will be able to share their books and shelves with other users.

Nowadays, every single company needs to operate with large amount of data to support daily operation. Although there is pretty good market offer with information systems for managing various kinds of data, only small part of them is suitable for the company that does not deal with sale of goods but provides services, particularly marketing services or IT services (e.g. programming). This thesis describes the design and development of such a system which has a main goal to satisfy the needs of small to medium companies whose needs are still different than what currently marketed products can offer. Such a system will, apart from other functions, be able to manage projects and track work time of employees.
Information technologies enabling managerial time tracking and cost reduction

Time tracking means to record and analyze costs in relation with business output. Managerial time tracking can be characterized as a tool that links working-time recording with planning, approving, rating, billing, invoicing, etc. This thesis deals with theoretical consequences and facts of time tracking approaches, and with practical application of these approaches with the usage of IT time tracking tools. There are described various alternatives of time tracking systems and characterized automatization of business processes with the focus on time tracking business process.
