Timber House

The aim of this bachelor’s work is design of new building of separate detached house. It is a timber house with a basement on the part of the ground plan, one ground floor and a flat sodded roof. The supporting part of walls creates column sandwich structure. The sheating is designed as a ventilated timber facade. The house is suitable for four-member family, with one person with limited mobility. The house is situated in Vřesina, site n. 778/55, cadastral unit Hlučín. The subject of seminar paper is “Vegetative facades”, and it is a separate supplement of bachelor’s thesis.

This Bachelor´s thesis processes design of standalone single-storeyed family house with attic, without cellared. The construction system of this building is lightweight frame system. Its benefits are good thermal technical properties and reduced construction time. The documentation is Works for building construction. The design documentation of the thesis is elaborated by computer program AutoCAD.

Family house load-bearing structure composed of thin-walled steel members

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design and verify load bearing members of single-storey family house composed of thin-walled cold-formed elements. Parking space for cars of timber members is the part of the house, too. The family house is in rectangular plan with dimensions of 9.5 x 10.5 m. The roof of the house is hipped, on the side of the house with the parking place rafters are associated with garage rafters. The following elements were statically assessed: structural members of the house roof (rafters, collar tie, roof bracing), structural members of the ceiling (ceiling beams), reinforcing timber frame, external and internal load bearing walls (columns), load bearing elements of the parking space (rafters, purlins, columns). All assessments were performed according to currently valid standards. The calculation showed that the resistance and serviceability of all components are satisfied.

Detached house with a design office

The aim of my bachelor thesis is a project of a new detached house with a shop at a level of the documentation for the structure realization. The building is partly basement with two above-ground floor and a flat roof. The structural system of the basement part is made up of permanent shuttering and the above-ground part is made up of timber frame. The project of the building is in accordance with the development plan of Příbor and with the current street built. The work puts great emphasis on layout including security of the construction in terms of statics, architecture, energy savings and safety at utilizing the structure.

The determination of needed power of chainsaw, depending on the type of sawn timber

This bachelor thesis deals with a power measurement of chainsaw engines. Their performance is determined by the type and condition of the sawn timber, version of the chainsaw, the chainsaw's power and also with the worker's experience. The main purpose of this bachelor thesis was to make all the necessary measurements required to determine the value of needed cutting power in connection with all the determining factors. Amongst the main factors are power and displacement of the chainsaw's engine, the worker's experience, embodiment of the clutch, the chainsaw's age and also the type and condition of sawn timber, as well as the used chain and the condition of its sharpening. Furthermore, I describe in my work what are the options considering the timber harvesting and during which operations are chainsaws mostly used.

Vliv hospodářských zásahů na změnu v biologické rozmanitosti ve zvláště chráněných územích: Problematika plavené dřevní hmoty (spláví) v CHKO Litovelské Pomoraví

Ve studii jsou zpracovány výsledky terénního šetření, které proběhlo v roce 2003 na toku řeky Moravy v ř. km. 273,0 - 242,5. Mapování a klasifikace typů spláví byla řešena dle metodiky Abbe and Montgomery. Na jejím základě došlo k definování hlavních typů spláví v území včetně popisu vlivu na morfologii toku. Dále byl zjištěn diametrální rozdíl ve frekvenci výskytu a početností významných akumulací spláví mezi jednotlivými úseky roku. Jsou popsány a graficky zpracovány návrhy opatření řešící transport spláví v Litovelském Pomoraví, možnosti jeho využití v revitalizačních opatřeních, včetně využití vlivu spláví na chod splavenin. Navržená řešení a závěry výzkumu potvrzují vliv spláví na ekosystém toku a přilehlé nivy, které jsou platné pro všechny říční systémy. Výkresová část zahrnuje obecné charakteristiky a analýzy současného stavu a návrhové výkresy.

The issue of processing of wood biomass chipper

Problems of this thesis presents a comparison of selected chippers available in the Republic, describing the structural design of wood chippers, subsequent evaluation of selected machinery energy consumption and quality of the final product depending on the volume of processed wood biomass, then evaluate the economics of machine.
