The Adult as a Catechesis Participant and Recipient

The title of the thesis is "The Adult as a Catechesis Participant and Recipient". The first part of the thesis introduces the issue of adult catechesis. It describes the ways in which the Church has, since its beginning (in its original practice), strived to tackle this phenomenon and provides an overview of the most important magisterial documents related to this topic. It also outlines the current challenges faced by the Church. Subsequently, attention is given to the prerequisites which an adult as a recipient and co-worker in the catechetical process should meet. Besides considering the current scientific psychological view of general human maturity, the thesis deals with the dynamics of faith development and its maturation. Furthermore the thesis outlines the goals of adult catechesis as well as the subsequent work which is crucial to continuing education. Finally, the thesis outlines the pastoral-catechetical view of adults.
The Language and Subjectivity of a Portrait

In A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man Joyce shifts away from the traditional objective narration to a more subjective mode of writing. The reader can experience the story and the characters not only through what is actually written but also through how it is written. Joyce employs various language techniques to show different styles that create the feeling of different voices. Four major registers can be distinguished: a child's language, 19th century lyricism, the language of the Catholic school and the more complicated style of the last chapter. The prevalent techniques suggesting a child-like usage are manifested through repetition, childish expressions, use of modality and questions. Lyricism then draws on Byronic and other 19th century parallels, for instance the overuse of adjectives, elevated metaphors and frequent occurrence of standard poetic tropes. The language of the Church is reflected in sermon-like repetition, archaic words, biblical expressions and heavy diction. The language of the last chapter tries to use precise technical terms in an imitation of Thomist and other scholastic texts and manages to incorporate many of the previous elements as well, although often in a self-mocking way. Clerical life at Žebrák in the high Middle Ages

The main subject of the Bachelor's degree work is monitoring the Church administration in the region in 14th century and at the beginning of the 15th century. The region Žebrácko laid in the deanery of Brdy, whose structure the author describes in the first part of the work. On the basis of the analysis of the sources, the author seeks to create an inventory of parish priests in the parish churches of St. William in Praskolesy, St. Giles in Hořovice and St. Lawrence in Žebrák. The work describes the mobility, education and other activities of individual parish priests. The author also explains the issue of the chapel of St. Procopius, in Praskolesy, in which were found the frescoes in 2005 from 14th century. The work also deals with the question of the patrons rights of individual churches. In this context, the author describes the rotation of the owners in selected areas, as it often held the patrons rights. The last part of the work deals with the Visitation protocol of the Prague achdeacon Paul of Janovice from the years 1379 -1382. The work describes his journey by the deanery of Brdy and focuses on the canonical visitation of monitored sites. Evangelism as a mission of the Church in actual Czech society

Diploma thesis deals with the theme of evangelization and selected evangelization concepts which are nowadays applied in the Czech Republic. Evangelization is presented as an essential task of the Church and Christians. This task is based on Jesus missionary command to preach the Gospel to all creation. Evangelization is analyzed from the point of theological foundation of missiology, trinitology, Christology, Mariology and ecclesiology. Thesis also outlines which qualities the missionary who follows example of Jesus Christ should have, what content and methods of preaching Gospel should be employed. This paper acquaints with following evangelization concepts: School of Christian Life and Evangelization of Mary of Nazareth, the Mother of the Church, Franciscan missionary work, Koinonia of Saint John the Baptist and the Parish evangelization cells. The thesis provides comparison in terms of objectives, methods and partial theoretical findings.
Ethical aspects of responsible parenthood

The diploma thesis deals with the change of the family in today's society, its roles, and the ways of cohabitation which replace the family. It evaluates the significance of marriage and parenthood for children and for their future lives. It describes the difficulties related to responsible parenthood and the role of parents during their children's adolescence. It evaluates the mentioned issues from the point of view of Christian ethics. It also touches on the problems of the current society in terms of infertility and assisted reproduction as well as ethical issued connected with them.
Analysis of the final document Plenary Assembly of the Catholic Church

The thesis discusses the Plenary Assembly of the Czech Catholic Church, which took place in the years 2003 ? 2005 in Velehrad. The work consists of six chapters, an introduction and conclusion. The first charter focuses on the history of the synod assemblies and not only in the Czech Republic, but also in the world. The largem part is devoted II. Vatican, which significantly influenced the whole Christian world. The sekond and the third charter is devoted to the Plenary Assembly of himself with us. Capture congress here since its publication. Through the work of parliamentary circles, the Preparatory Commission, all contributions to the Assembly to important natepals and message from I. and II. session of this parlament. The fourth charter presents a few selected topics from the final document PS ? ?Life and mission?? In the fifth chapter, your can already find the final analysis of that document, together with the specifically selected conciliar documents and one, which took care of the Germanem Joint Synod of Bishops. The sixth charter already Rouge Post-Synodal development, including vision and plans of the Czech Catholic Church in the future.
Hořice passion plays - the trancendent's neighborhood expresion or leisure activity?

This Bachelor´s dissertation discusses the origin of the passion plays in Europe and in the Czech republic and focuses mainly on the village of Hořice na Šumavě. It describes the inception of the passion plays with regards to the Christian festival of Easter and its basis for European theatrical traditions. The passion plays´ genesis was, at the early history, considered a solely religious activity that reflected the transcendence of ordinary people indigenous to the Bohemian Forest. Over the time and by virtue of deconsecration of society, this religious activity transformed to regional leisure time activity.
Identification and self-fullfilment the person in the God.

The thesis describes a religious conversion of a human being as a process of turning/affiliation his/her life to the God. The conversion is understood here as a process of forming a new identity. The first part follows the view on human life without the God through three different fields {--} psychology, sociology and theology. The psychological view shows the possible levels of identification of a man/woman and his/her desire for self-fullfilment. Sociology gives us the reflection of sociological researches of contemporary deconsecrated society. Theology tries to explain the possible causes of deconsecration and diversion from the institutionalized religion in the Czech republic. The second part summarizes the problems of human life with the God. In compare with the previous part the second part is understood as a view on a convert´s life. Psychology shows the possible problems of conversion in psychical processes of a human being. The sociological part follows predominantly two lines of the process of conversion- {\clqq}drift model`` and {\clqq}brainwashing model``. The theological point of view describes the process of Christian initiation of a young man/woman. The final part follows the process of identification of a man/woman with the Church.
