The Czech economy transformation - strengths and weaknesses

The Czech economy transformation after November 1989 illustrates the transition from a centrally planned economy to a market economy. This reconstruction required many fundamental changes, namely: privatization, price liberalization and liberalization of foreign trade. These changes have had a significant impact on the territorial and commodity structure of foreign trade and external economic balance of the Czech Republic. This thesis aims to assess the steps in the transformation of the Czech economy and the effects on the development of foreign trade relations of the Czech Republic from the perspectives of economists and ordinary citizens.
Analysis of development of the Slovak foreign trade after joining the EU

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe the development of foreign trade of the Slovak Republic after the entry to the European Union - 2004-2011. Analysis was the method used. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is focused on the former development of the Slovak economy, because of better understanding of the changes that occurred in the Slovak Republic's foreign trade relations. The second chapter describes the common trade policy in order to define the impact of its acceptance on the foreign trade of the Slovak Republic. The last chapter contains analysis of foreign trade of the SR from commodity and territorial point of view and basic trade indicators, with crisis and Euro adoption taking into account.
Position of Brazil in the world economy

This thesis is focused on the position of Brazilian economy in the world market and evaluates its current state. The work is divided into three chapters and all the mentioned points are evaluated in terms of international commerce. The first chapter briefly describes the characteristics of Brazil, which are the most relevant to the international trade. Then it is also mentioned its economic development. The second chapter deals with the current economic situation of Brazil, describes the most important macroeconomic indicators. Finally, the work is analyzing its specific place in the world economy, and is examining its position in the international market and the territorial structure of foreign trade.
