The Singletrack in the Context of Mountain Biking

Title: The Singletrack in the Context of Mountain Biking Objectives: The main goal of the bachelor thesis is systematically to introduce the overview of present knowledge in the cross mountain biking area including the wider contexts. Furthermore through the domestic and foreign literature search to reflect the term singletrack, eventually to create the well-arranged overview of the singletrack regions in Czech Republic and in the world. Last but not least to provide the comprehensive analysis of the biggest area of this type in our territory - Singltrek pod Smrkem. Methods: For the data collection and information acquisition have been used following methods: documentary and comparative observation of the tracked objects (technical parameters), standardized and non-standardized interviews (trail builders, village majors), analysis of information resources (domestic and foreign literature search), marginally comparative methods (CR versus world). The data collection resulted from primary as well as from secondary external and internal resources. Hodnocení rekreačního potenciálu ŠLP ML Křtiny se zaměřením na cykloturistiku

The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of recreational potential on school entreprise ŠLP ML Křtiny focusing on cyclotourism, when the goal is to develop an analysis of the land use by tourists with the help of sociological methods, questionnaire survey, and based on all answers to propose general measures in land management from the point of view of cycling. The results, which are analyzed using different types of graphs and tables and interpreted with commentary, are followed by SWOT analysis and the resulting proposals and management measures of the area of interest ŠLP ML Křtiny.

Singltrek jako střet vlastníka a uživatele - případová studie Singltrailu Moravský kras

This thesis deals with evaluation of perception of forest paths for cycling, known as singletrack, located in the village called Jedovnice. In the first part, the concepts of terms such as tourism, cycletourism and singletrack are explained. The application of marketing tools is examined on the example of the project Singletrail Moravian Karst. The thesis also describes the implementation and results of the individual marketing tools. The results were processed on the basis of a questionnaire survey among visitors of forest trails of Singletrail Moravian Karst for comparison also among students and employees of Mendel University in Brno.

Title: Socio-economic benefits of Singeltrek pod Smrkem and Rychleby trails Objectives: The fundamental goal of the diploma thesis is the global introduction of social- economic benefits in the most extensive singletrack areas in Czech Republic - Singltrek pod Smrkem and Rychleby trails. Furthermore based on the comparative analyse of selected variables, to classify identical and differential characters of both destinations and suggest the resolution of detected deficiencies. Methods: For the data collection and information acquisition for the diploma thesis have been used: documentation as well as comparative observation of watched objects (technical parameters), standardized and unstandardized interviews (trail builders, municipality majors), analyse of information resources (research of domestic and international literature) and especially the methods of comparative analyse (Singltrek pod Smrkem versus Rychleby trails). Data collection resulted from primary as well as secondary external and internal resources. Studie dopadů destinace Singltrek pod Smrkem na region

This thesis deals with the impact analysis of realization the destination site of trails Singltrek pod Smrkem in Nové Město pod Smrkem and surroundings on nearby region. Results are based on surveys among visitors of the trails, residents of nearby municipalities and entrepreneurs in the region. For a purpose of the evaluation of the date the the cost-benefit analysis was used. Among the benefits of the project there is the reduction of unemployment, utility from using the service for the visitors or increased profits of local businesses. With the method of internal rate of return that was calculated on 20,6 %. In conclusion it was found that benefits are higher than costs and all stakeholders can be satisfied. In the end were submitted some recommendations for the sustaining of the project and its development because it can be threatened by the newly founding destination site with the same focus.

Recreational cycling and its development for strengthening tourism in the region of North-East Bohemia

The diploma thesis focuses on recreational cycling because it is regarded as one of possibilities how to strengthen tourism in the region of North-East Bohemia. In the theoretical part there are presented basic terms and definitions connected with the recreational cycling, also there are mentioned legislative foundations. Then, the diploma thesis presents selected institutional documents, which prove the importance of the recreational cycling. Also there are included basic facts about important organizations concerning recreational cycling and about the region of North-East Bohemia itself. The practical part focuses on existing cycling and complementary infrastructure of the region. The last chapter analyses the infrastructure and especially it provides suggestions and possible projects that would support further development of recreational cycling in the region of North-East Bohemia.
